Another night and two more Palin attacks. No mention of Obama, health care, G8 or the economy. Can you say "deflecting" the real issues???
And of course, Ann Coulter was WPITW...what a shocker.
This dolt is so predictable. Here is my guess at tomorrow's segments (in no particular order):
5) CIA
4) Palin
3) Sotomayer
2) WPITW (3 conservatives...I'll go with...Hannity, Rove and some irrelevant comment made by some irrelevant person about some irrelevant subject.)
1) Palin
I'm surprised Rupert Murdoch hasn't made it to WPITW yet. Or am I wrong?
The picture of Keefy with the tea bags is priceless because it was just tonight that I noticed the pretentious bastard had a cup and tea bag on his desk.
I also noticed that his avoirdupois was cruelty to his suit. When the ratings get you feeling blue, a 12 inch pepperoni will really do.
Oops! I didn't mean to suggest anything untoward.....it should be....
....a 12 inch pepperoni PIZZA will really do.....
SARAH PALIN IS A LYING LIAR!
Insipid 'News' hour throws out all pretentions of real news and goes after Sarah Palin again, and again.
Oh, by the way, Keith's Olbsession was at Citi Field tonight for the Mets-Dodgers game.
Yeah I switched over twice to see what's up when the Factor was in commercial.
Both times Palin. Last night's #1 was Palin, tonight's was Palin. It's the fall of 2008 all over again when his Palin obsession was in high gear. By the way KO just doesn't get it does he.
The longer he keeps up this Palin obsession the more she wins.
Via the Olbermann Flood, I'll try to translate the Kos recap into human [Ding!].
#5: Bashing the GOP and the CIA. Howie Fineman dropped by.
#4: More Palin Attacks with Margaret Carlson.
Oddball: The Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain.
BPitW: An attack on the other King in Congress: Steve King of Iowa. It's a shame the Reps King have to be unfairly crowned, so to speak. (I just wanted to work that line in.) Then, a Rove attack.
#3: More GOP attacks, but on the topic of Sonia Sotomayor, whose confirmation hearings are next week.
#2: The Media Matters Minute featuring Ann Coulter. Coultergeist! [Ding!] Likely blue blog source: Oralmann's blog.
#1: Even more GOP attacks and Palin attacks.
All in a night's work for the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann.
That was the best I could decipher from skimming the TV-MA-L recap.
It is so easy to predict Olbermann. Three paragraphs in Coulter's column that inflicts an anxiety attack in the dote and, of course, he'll make her WPITW....
I think his therapist cleared the venting for therapeutic purposes at about 4:30pm yesterday in an emergency phone session.
Funny though....he actually ended his commentary by doing exactly what he accuses Coulter and the "rightwing ilk," of doing. He judged Coulter on her physical appearence. Mmm.
Olbermann once again shows he is a hypocrite and unable to be intellectually honest.
Oh well, at least he did not try to defend himself from the points Coulter made regarding his obsession with Palin, and other character flaws involving trying to establish relationships with women. That would have put the intellectual dishonesty meter way into the red.
Krazy Keith is once again stalking
Creepy emails and persistent gawking
Pimping his deceased mom
So he can "get some"
His live-in whore isn't talking
Why do you guys think Olbermann covers Palin so much?
Answer: He NEEDS her for the ratings she brings. Remember, a million or so morons like MikeHee watch him everynight. They need their daily dose of Palin to hate. Olby's mysoginism is more than happy to oblige.
cee, you are rigtht about Ann. However, I firmly believe that she goes after Olbermann on purpose every so often. She enjoys toying with him. Much like we do here with his lone sycophant troll, MikeHee. However, unlike the simpleton Olbermann, who CAN garner sick joy in targeting someone everyday (e.g. Bush), Ann has too much intelligence to waste on a simple target like Olbermann too often. That's why I believe she does it sparingly. Also, to prove she can. It never fails. I'm sure she laughs at his predictable reaction, knowing that Olbermann has no clue he is being played like the Pavlov dog that he is.
I hope I don't spoil Ann's ploy. We all know Olbermann often reads this blog. Hello Olby!
Olbermann suggested the Coulter admitted that, to Republicans, the role of women in politics is based ENTIRELY on how they look. He went on to say support of such a theory is based on the IMMORALITY of Sanford, and Vitter, and Ensign, etc. Ok.....
What about Democrat Governor Spitzer?
What about Democrat Presidential candidate Edwards?
What about President Bill Clinton?....
It seems tit-for-tat is operative here and making such sweeping conclusions based on the nonpartisan failures in being faithful and not abusing women also seems unjustified....
And then we have this from yesterday.....

Another what-if-this-had-been-President-Bush moment! Olbermann's attempt to pin immorality, or feet-of-clay only on (R)'s is dubious....But secular fundamentalists of the church of SNOBamessiah like Olbermann cannot help themselves!
VERO POSSUMUS! WTF?
Look, as for all the adulterous politicians, it's has and is going to happen to many, and I say they should all resign, particularly if they have broken the law in the process (ie. Spitzer, Clinton).
As for Palin, let me explain. They don't like her because yes, she is a Republican, but the main reason they don't like her is because she's not the stereotypical republican that fits their agenda, so they have to work extra hard to take her out because the secret here is she can connect with and excel in doing so, many more than Pelosi or Clinton. One, because she's attractive, but mainly because she's a mother, from a less than well to do family, who worked her way to the top, from the PTA to Mayor to Governor. She worked in industry, took time off to be a mother, likes to hunt, loves her hard working husband, etc. She is middle America, and if she connects with "us" then the elites will lose. And that can't happen.
They could take all the Republicans running in '08 and group them into the same mold; religious fanatics, rich, white, male, oil, connected, out of touch. With Palin, they can't do that, so they resort to the third grade method of attacks, she's stupid, she's a shopaholic, she's bitchy, she lies, and so on. Palin is a serious threat to the party.
And speaking of Religion, f*ck you Bill Maher...
Keith, I, the rest, know you're following...
This is what we'd like to see:
An opposing position present on your show...
Viewer feedback, good and bad...
Honesty, particularly about your party affiliation and political leanings...
Coverage that is current, and reflective of the day's events...
Insightful responses (personal opinion is acceptable), on particular issues...
A commitment to current events (this means forgetting about George W. Bush)...
I have just given you everything you need to increase your ratings by two, possibly three fold. Approaching the range of the Factor, Beck, Hannity and anyone at Fox News. This is the recipe, and if you follow this recipe, you will have higher ratings, guaranteed.
As you hang your head in your hands each afternoon when the ratings are released, ask yourself. Why can't I follow this recipe? I know how to increase my ratings, why won't I do it? Why?
The answer to this question is simple, and are as follows:
You are not intelligent enough...
You are a liberal, and afraid to admit it...
You are not a skillful or talented debater...
Your ego is very large...
You are incapable of being honest...
You are incapable of admitting that you are wrong...
You are selfish...
You are a waste of breathable air and a significant amount of space...
You have all the answers you need to increase your ratings, and it's simple. You can't. You are incapable. You are no good at what you do. And the republicans are taking back the White House in 2012, and I will love every second of it for the sole reason you failed to re-elect Barrack Obama, your priority...
I love not being anything like you...
From NewsBusters: Coulter "Worsting": Olbermann Can Dish Personal Details But Can't Take 'Em.
The transcript reveals that other guests were on besides Fineman and Carlson.
#5: Rep. Rush Holt (far-left D-NJ)...oops, lost the feed. Let's go to Fineman instead. Let's joke that the CIA and Republicans caused the drop:
"HOWARD FINEMAN, MSNBC POLITICAL ANALYST: I'm tempted to say that Leon Panetta works fast.
(LAUGHTER)
OLBERMANN: Or Boehner, it could have been either one of them.
You know, in hoping that we get to talk to the congressman again.
FINEMAN: Yes.
OLBERMANN: . in the interim, is there indication—all right, I'm going to hold off because Congressman Holt is back with us now.
FINEMAN: OK.
OLBERMANN: So, we'll resume where we.
Congressman, when he a glitch in talking about the CIA openness. The picture and the sound suddenly went dead, which is kind of an irony by itself.
HOLT: Well, it's good to be back with you. It is ironic, isn't it?"
Yeah, real ironic.
At the end:
"... Congressman Rush Holt of the intelligence committee—greater thanks than ever for your time tonight and bearing with us during the technical problems. A coincidence, no doubt.
HOLT: A coincidence.
OLBERMANN: Thank you, sir.
HOLT: Thank you.
OLBERMANN: Time now to bring in, as promised, MSNBC political analyst Howard Fineman, senior Washington correspondent and political columnist of “Newsweek” magazine.
All right. We'll try this again. Has—in this revelation here ..."
And on it went.
#3: Chris Cillizza.
#2: The aforementioned "worsting."
"But our winner, Coulter-geist [Ding!], with another fevered column appearing at several actual blog, but getting most of its distribution by being cut and pasted into the comments sections of real websites. [Kos blurb was read.] On one level, it is satisfying to see Ann Coulter admit that the Republican view of women in politics, good or bad, is based entirely on how they look. Judging by the pervasive immorality and holier than though hypocrisy of Ensign and Sanford and Vitter and Gingrich and their ilk, the right wing [Ding!] thinks that the only thing that might ever interest a male voter about a woman is sex. God knows that must be Ann Coulter's life story. It also certainly would explain why the GOP nominated Sarah Palin for the vice presidency when she had not a single qualification for the job, besides the ability to wink.
But even upon the wreaking pile of manure that is the right wing [Ding!] media and right wing [Ding!] commentary, Coulter is something worse: putrid, evil and, worst of all, considering herself as kinds of a reincarnated Dorothy Parker, repeatedly, incisively, and irretrievably not funny. One more thing; the shot at Rachel there is not merely stupid, and, given viewer reaction to her, not only hilariously wrong. But it's also disturbingly revelatory about Ann Coulter and disturbingly sad.
Ann, you started this beauty pageant thing. These are your rules. This is what you think is fair. So you have asked for this. If I were you, I would not start commenting about the value of attractiveness in women in politics. Ann Coulter, today's worst person in the world."

I was out last night and I don't care to watch just to play catchup, but I see by the postings Keith can't get over his 'olbsession' with Palin.
How far will he go?
Will his Zombies lap this up?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_kSUNn5rgE
Will 'fat one who lies in tub' run with this?
We can only hope.
Keith Olbermann came up briefly in last night's installment of "Pinch & Me" on "Red Eye."
Thanks MikeC.

Me thinks Mr. Olbermann needs some new writers.
To expand on Ryder's comments...
1)Olby WOULD get higher ratings if he got into some debates with his guests. At first he would get creamed (I doubt he would have a guest with any sort of intelligence) but I think he could learn how to handle himself after a few (maybe a dozen) embarrassing exchanges. I am pretty sure the concept has come up but it was rejected by Olby. His ego is too fragile to handle such embarrassment.
2) Viewer feedback/mail: I don't think that would work for two reasons.
A) Keith would only post positive feedback to boost his ego.
B) It would turn into another version of Special Komment or WTF. And since it seems "WTF" is dead, they wouldn't rehash the subject.
On a side note...why doesn't Olby have an email address at MSNBC? I know Maddow has one but I couldn't find one for Keith.
3) Honesty and coverage of current events: Well, we all know there will never be honesty. Current Events: Like I've said before, Olby's job as a mouthpiece for Obama (in return for green contracts for GE from the Obama administration) is to DEFLECT THE REAL ISSUES. No talk of Obama's approval ratings (unless they are positive), unemployment, the Climate (tax) bill, a second stimulus (spending) bill, a trillion dollar debt, ect.
So he sticks to the GE game plan. Bash Bush, Cheney, Palin, Limbaugh, Gingrich, Rove, O'Reilly, Hannity or any person that opposes the loony left wing ideology. Because, God forbid, he presents the entire story with facts and opposing points of view so his audience can come to their own conclusion. But he will not do this because his audience would realize that he is lying to them and he is nothing more than a journalistic HACK.
Did I hear Keith correctly on oddball yesterday say that one of the bulls in the streets of Pamplona shoud "take out one of these jerks"? A report today says that a bull gored a man to death in the street.
WE ARE LITERALLY DREADFULLY SORRY!
ENOUGH!
Thursday's ratings: At 8:00, the hilariously wrong Keith Olbermann finished second in total viewers and a disturbingly sad fourth in the 25-54 demo. It was even sadder at 10:00 where Keithergeist finished fourth in both categories. Maybe he'll blame *that* on Panetta and Boehner.
Actually, "Olbergeist" makes more sense.
