I could not agree more. I am glad the author was able to repost the above because it is a good piece from someone who was once an Olbermann "fan boy."

MSNBC should fire Olbermann and put Maddow in his time slot. I believe their ratings would not do any worse, and may even improve with the shake-up as some people give the netowrk another try after the repetative hate speech was rightfully removed.

I am no fan of Maddow, especially after her obsession with "tea-bagging," (uh, uh, uh....they said "tea bag!" uh, ha, uh, ha, TEA BAG!). I watched MSNBC long enough today during the Ted Kennedy coverage to hear Keith ramble incoherently after what started off to be a question but then he just stumbled from one subject to another. Keith, you are just awful.

I sat down for dinner tonight and politely asked my father (who was watching MSNBC) to change the channel as soon as I heard Olbermann's voice. My mother was like "what's the big deal" and I said I didn't want to hear about how Sen Kennedy was a longtime friend and big Countdown fan, nor how it's the Republicans fault that there won't ever be anyone who will "reach across the aisle" like Sen. Kennedy.

Was he doing any of that stuff, the same stuff he did with Tim Russert and every other famous person who dies?

I don't know. I watched FNC from 7:00 to 8:27 (when coverage ended).

Hell, I'm surprised MSNBC took the time to actually cover the funeral.

An associate said that the president was just being polite with the rabbis, and spokesman Robert Gibbs said that Obama was invited by the rabbis to join in on the call 'as they get ready for their important holidays.'

"But in September 2007, when Bush issued a holiday greeting a week early, he was roundly ridiculed for jumping the gun. The Washington Post said that there was 'quizzical reaction' from even Bush's friends.

"A former Bushie who remembered the spat said: 'Strange. When GWB sent out Rosh Hashana greetings a few days early, he was mocked. Obama is an entire month too early, and no big whoop.'"

Of course it is no big whoop because the one is such a superior intellectual and part of the elite ruling class. He can get all sorts of facts wrong, even lie about his own record, and the enamored media simply ignore or excuse such events....But the right?....they are stupid, evil and/or purposely being obtuse.
