That ratings news is SPECTACULAR! I heard Olbermann's theory on why FNC has such healthy numbers, but how does he explain his own decline in viewers?......Are they all away at summer camp?

At least Maddow shows some integrity in admitting FNC's dominance, even if it seems she is passing a kidney stone in admitting it.

She had nothing to contribute to the general discussion except the radical left's same talking points about pulling the plug on grandma....They need some new material.

Lastly, her contention that Obama is a centrist is dishonest....after promoting his candidacy and the 2008 democratic wins as a national embrace of progressive ideology, Olbermann, Maddow and the rest of their ilk are now trying to lie and say they did not call it that way....once again, the integrity we would like to see in a news organization is lacking.

This morning (Sunday, August 16th, 2009), in an attempt to smear Dick Armey and his Freedom Works organization using guilt by association, Rachel Maddow, a NBC News employee lied twice, let me repeat, lied twice, when she said, "If you go to Tea Party Patriots right now, what they've got on their front page... of their web site, the top item, is a video showing the violence at the town hall in Ybor City, in Tampa, Florida, essentially promoting that, as if that was a good thing that happened, that showed what the Health Care Freedom Coalition wants to have done in the health care debate. Freedom Works is part of that coalition. You (Dick Armey) can say that you denounce it, but the organization that you head is part of it."

Lie #1: The video at the top of Tea Party Patriots web site is actually a live Channel 13 FOX News report of the August 6th town hall meeting in Tampa. It is a lie that it "is a video showing the violence at the town hall in Ybor City, in Tampa, Florida." The video contained absolutely no violence. The only violence that occurred at that meeting was when union members rushed into the crowd in the lobby in order to close the doors into the meeting room.

Lie #2: Building on lie #1, Ms. Maddow continues with her second lie, "...essentially promoting that, as if that was a good thing that happened, that showed what the Health Care Freedom Coalition wants to have done in the health care debate." Even if the video had shown the violence that occurred at the Tampa town hall, there is absolutely nothing at the Tea Party Patriots web site that would indicate in any way that they were "essentially promoting that, as if that was a good thing that happened, that showed what the Health Care Freedom Coalition wants to have done in the health care debate."

I believe strongly that a correction and apology to his audience is required by Mr. Gregory on next week's Meet the Press program. In addition, I believe strongly that Ms. Maddow be required to issue a correction to her lies, issue a personal apology to Dick Armey, an apology to the audience and an on-air public apology, along with a written apology to the Tea Party Patriots organization.
