That closing "are you watching, Rush?" was the giveaway. Matthews, whose anemic ratings trail even Rachel Maddow's in the MSNBC line-up, is desperately hoping someone???anyone???is watching. And if it takes publicly fantasizing about the violent death of a political opponent, well, all's apparently fair in love and ratings in Matthews' mind.

As for the White House, Gibson said it perfectly. They want EVERYONE in step with their administration and then attack a news channel who doesn't agree with them. And why do they attack? Because Fox News provides the other side of the story, questions their policies and debates the issues. The last time I checked that was the media's JOB. When was the last time Crazy Larry or Cankles debated anyone or anything??? Never, because they would be exposed as a HACK and a FRAUD.

Pathetic.

Now this might not make a difference to a coward like MikeH but when a lady says she's not receiving death threats and Olbermann says she did, well that's a lie.

I'm sure this falls under what MikeH (and probably Olbermann as well) considers "an arguable technicalility about something that isn't even particularly important", so maybe I'm just blowing smoke. But I would expect nothing less from a coward. Man it must have sucked to have been in the military with him.

ANOTHER AWARD WINNING COUNTDOWN to no ratings.

Yeppers, what I saw last night (parts of the last 20 minutes), was a show with more uncontrolled revelations of Cankles' inner psychological struggles....The man needs his meds adjusted and a hug from someone (but not by a strong, well adjusted woman).....

His problem with misogyny was once again exposed with his over-reaction to Michelle Malkin's involvement with the New Jersey school "Barack Hussein Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm" song controversy...calling her a, "mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it."

Wow.....Simply, wow....how articulate and graphic....Cankles gets psycho creepy all over someone calling attention to a rather silly and inane song which uses lyrics from an old Sunday School diddy, further reinforcing some of our fellow citizens' deification of our current chief executive....Cult of personalities require such reactions? The one basically replaces Christ in the lyrics and some of the tune is the deeply spirtual Christian hymn, "Battle Hymn of The Republic." Obama as messiah, DON'T MOCK MY SAVIOR YOU MASHED-UP BAG OF MEAT WITH LIPSTICK ON IT...Ahhhhh!

(At this point, please reflect on how the left and ACLU would have reacted if public school children were taught a song about ANYTHING or ANYONE else (other than Obama, or FLOTUS), using Sunday School material and a Christian hymn)....Ouch!

Also, on a journalistic note, Cankles claimed, "By the way, the fringe is out protesting at the school again scaring the kids." Does he have proof the children are scared? Is South Jersey becoming some kind of antebellum terror society?....That would be news to me.

The last segment, with Rush on his mind, was simply crammed with projection and insecurity as Olbermann rushed through essentially a rationalization session that should have taken 30 minutes. Once the transcript is available, someone must go through the diatribe and see the obvious confessions of physical, psychic and spiritual insecurity our poor pundit sturggles with as he tries to fall asleep every night.

The segments I saw could have been done by a 12 year old chubby adolescent boy, struggling with his acne and public speaking, and it would have been less pathetic....Poor Olbermann, so many brain boggeymen....so little therapy time.

He really should consider a long leave-of-absence to get healthy.....

NBC NEWS should consider it just for it's own languishing reputation.

Obviously, Keith Olbermann has some serious psychological issues. He freely admits to seeing a psychiatrist. What's quite disturbing is Keith's anger toward successful, pretty women. Ann "adam's apple" Coulter, Rita "suitcase full of rocks" Cosby", Michelle "mashed up bag of meat with lipstick" Malkin, And, of course, the nightly attacks on Sarah Palin and Michele Bachman. Does his misogynistic complex arise from feeling inferior to women? Was he taunted by girls as a young dweeb? Is it sexual in nature? Or is Keith simply the Pretty Police? I'd recommend he increases his meds/therapy sessions or another Rebecca Lobo-esque restraining order is likely.

Olby should not be calling anyone "a big mashed bag" of anything. Look at the man...he is overweight and has a minimum of two chins. He is just so insecure about everything (including his weight) that he feels he has to lash out. Remember he said the same thing about Limbaugh calling him "a big bag of mashed up jackass". This guy is going to lose it one of these days.

As for women...well, that's just another insecurity. He is so threatened by good-looking, strong, successful women that he must insult them to feel better about himself. My guess is that this manifested itself at an early age and he has never been able to overcome it.

I suppose Limbaugh hit alittle to close to home for Cankles' in both character and image. So what does Olbermann accuse Limbaugh of doing......how ironic....Olbermann thinks LIMBAUGH is projecting, when all along we know poor Cankles' is simply crying out for help!

It gets worse as, again, Olbermann accuses Limbaugh of another form of denial next.....

We do? I reviewed the entire segment from Rush's show Cankles' used to back his theory and found Rush accusing MSNBC of relying on "Rush as ratings maker" for their own purposes. Rush never hinted he worried about what Olbermann, Maddow, Matthews and the rest think of him....It seems poor Cankles' is projecting once again.

Insecure Olbermann, worrying about what others say and think about him.....Poor Olbermann, confessing to worrying about his "status" as media mover and shaker, his wealth and influence.
