The infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann couldn't be bothered yesterday to report on Malik Hasan or all of his contacts with jihadists and repeated emails to Al Qaeda. He didn't even bother to do a segment on the Fort Hood memorial. Instead, he devoted over seven minutes to grade-school vulgarities directed at Carrie Prejean. More of that OlbyPlanet news judgment. No doubt he'll have something really special for Veterans Day. You can recap it right here. Comments are still open!
The documentation of the slime and slander from Keith Olbermann just keeps on piling up.
Via the transcript, here is #1, minus the transcription of video clips:
OLBERMANN: The free speech and first amendment rights of the dethroned Miss California Carrie Prejean have been so silenced, her freedom so denied that she's only done three national TV interviews in the last 24 hours, including one in the down stairs part of this studio. Our number one story, did she leave any more of those personal videos hanging around?
Give Ms. Prejean credit for moxy. A sex tape in which she is alone and which was played for her while she sat there with her mother, who did not know about it in advance, is revealed. And she's still out there hawking her new book on TV, all thanks to the miracle of free speech and video cameras with remote panning devices.
But what we might have learned from her interview with Sean Hannity last night is that the answer to every question, no matter what the subject, would end with a restatement of her mission to save free speech as we know it.
...
OLBERMANN: Of course, Ms. Prejean fails to understand that her free speech does not apply to what she says on a privately owned TV network during a privately owned beauty pageant. Besides, nobody was trying to stop her from speaking her mind before, during or after that the pageant. Of course, she was not fired for doing that. She was fired for breach of contract. That was after pageant, through the decree of the franchise's owner, Donald trump, had given her a pass for those so-called modeling pictures that had surfaced.
Little did we know that apparently earlier she had made a tape, perhaps in hopes of becoming a hand model. This morning, the tour continued on NBC‘s “Today Show,” where Ms. Prejean gave her stock answer about whether or not the tape was a sex tape. She offers a potentially clever answer, given that the tape may someday be released.
...
OLBERMANN: So even parts of her life that have nothing to do with her pageant answer, like posing half nude for modeling photos or making a sex tape, have been used to attack her, because of the real motive. Try to keep up.
...
OLBERMANN: No surprise, her book is called “Still Standing.” And kudos for working in the title half a dozen time in these interviews. Anyway, not content with talking points [Ding!], Ms. Vieira dared to press Ms. Prejean on why she dropped her lawsuit, particularly since that lawsuit was, theoretically, a vehicle to prove that she was fired for her beliefs.
...
OLBERMANN: In other words, you got rid of your freedom of speech, didn't you? Convenient. Returning to Ms. Prejean's thesis, already in progress.
...
OLBERMANN: Yes, we're getting warmer. But first, a quick detour to the issue of Ms. Prejean's hypocrisy [Ding!].
...
OLBERMANN: OK, if the tea is steady. Ms. Prejean, you're a hypocrite [Ding!]. But when Sarah Palin's name was invoked, we might have known that Ms. Prejean would arrive at her coup de grace.
...
OLBERMANN: Several points. Part of the double standard, Ms. Prejean, you're not Justice Sotomayor or the First Lady of the United States. Surprise. Secondly, Mr. Hannity has relentlessly pressed a case that both Sonia Sotomayor and Michelle Obama are themselves racist. He did the far right's [Ding!] bidding in taking Sotomayor's words out of context in a speech she had given. He used a court case in which Sotomayor had followed precedent to paint her as a reverse racism extremist.
With Michelle Obama, Hannity repeatedly distorted a passage in her college senior thesis to suggest that others' views on race that she was describing were actually her own views, including the words white oppressor.
And words do matter, which is why there's often a fight over context and meaning. So Ms. Prejean, have you ever considered what you were saying in that beauty pageant answer? You know, right before you said that you believed that marriage should be between a man and a woman?
...
OLBERMANN: Except gay people don't have that choice because the majority of straight people use their majority power to deny it. So when you use those words, whether you knew what you were saying or not, you must expect something of a pushback.
As for unfair attacks on men or women, it has never been limited to conservative women.
...
OLBERMANN: But the most truthful answer you have given thus far was a simple nod and a yes.
...
OLBERMANN: That's COUNTDOWN for this 2,385th day since the previous president declared mission accomplished in Iraq. I'm Keith Olbermann. And so sign off the way Carrie Prejean might, it's Girl Scouts. Oh, no, I'm sorry, three. I'm sorry. Good luck.
A real class act, this guy...
Seriously, if I ever see him in an airport...well, let's just say there will be a report of some kind...
You know, you really have to ask yourself what is the endgame in all this? Yeesh, I already used that line didn't I? But, well, it still applies. Here's yet another example of the utter inappropriate slime, vile, misogynistic, shit that spews from this man's mouth.
I'm not even bothered that he just HAS to compare himself to Hannity because Prejean had the GALL to call out Pencil Dick. Hell, I'm not even bothered by how hypocritical he is when he just happens to overlook his many examples of vile sexism. What bothers me is how he CONTINUALLY gets away with it.
But good news, NBC's favorite failure will continue to keep his job once Comcast buys in. And if there was annnnnnny hope that Fat Ass would have to tone it down, or have his contract bought out, or be fired, or "promoted" to where we won't see his fat face, that just went out with Comcast's idiotic decision to keep Zucker on... Which will keep Griffin in place as well I'm sure.
So, looks like its continued smooth sailing for Olbs. And its upsetting, to say the least.
KOlby just because Comcast wants to use the same puppet doesn't mean they're using the same strings. You're probably right, but let's see what happens first.
Just did a perfect picture for the Minister of Misguided Information

by the way , the new MSNBC logo is the peacock iding its head in shame
More evidence that Obama is lying about the impact the stimulus had on job creation....My question remains....Will Olbermann speak truth to power and investigate the story regarding the stimulus?....Especially after this:
"New numbers released by the federal government Friday estimate that the federal stimulus package has helped create or save 34,500 total jobs in Washington, making it the state with the third-largest reported number of stimulus jobs behind California and New York.
"But there’s a caveat on those job creation numbers: 24,000 of them probably weren’t in danger in the first place.
"State officials used a chunk of stimulus money to cover paychecks for 24,000 teachers who were already contracted to finish out the school year. That money came from a pot of stimulus funds given to the state to help offset budget cuts.
"Without that funding, the money to pay the teachers would have come out of the state general fund, said Jill Satran, Gov. Chris Gregoire’s main adviser on stimulus projects.
"That would have meant cuts elsewhere, Satran said, but the job losses that would have resulted from such cuts is difficult to quantify.
"Few, if any, of the 24,000 teacher jobs would have been among them, Satran said.'

Again, let us ask ourselves if this was Bush....What would the reaction of leftists like Olbermann be?......LIAR!
Obama has stated his policies have saved or created jobs....His claim is based on lies. Obama is a liar.
VERO POSSUMUS, indeed. Wee weed?
Before I get to Olby let me just say "THANK YOU" to all the men and women of the nation's armed forces.
Now to Olby. I suspect he will attempt to rectify his disgraceful lack of coverage of the Ft. Hood Memorial tonight (especially on Veterans Day). He will attempt to say he deeply respects our Armed Forces and will show video of the memorial service and pictures of the troops.
But the damage has already been done. He proved last night beyond a shadow of a doubt what he thinks about the troops. The same troops who have fought and died for his right to spew his vile hatred. You cannot get any lower than this "human being".
Recently, Olbermann made a huge production out of chastising Rush Limbaugh for using references to "bend over" and "grab your ankles" and "rear end" on several occaisions. "Tacky!" bellowed the sanctimonious avenger. One week later he closes his show with a mock masturbatory (feminine, which is quite fitting actually) hand gesture. Great Moments in Broadcasting indeed. Somewhere, Ed Murrow is weeping.
Lou Dobbs quits CNN! Watch Olby claim credit for running him off TV either tonight or tomorrow.
So the top story is going to be about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and how his health care stinks?
Is Keith serious? He's tying Jabbar's illness for olby's need to push HCR?
What a douchebag.
And WPITW!
Bronze for Dobbs for quitting CNN. KNEW IT! Olby can't help but claim credit. What a sicko!
Silver: Billo for saying that Ft. Hood is (and it is TERRORISM). Bill says his show is the 'highest rated show'. Olby has the gall to say that Dancing with the stars has 3 times the ratings. Says that maybe Host Tom Bergeron gets to decided what is news.
Kieth, Tom is smarter than you. And by your logic, DWTS beats your show 12 to 1!
GOLD: Clean coal tech being nothing but lies. Forging letters. Who cares.
ANOTHER AWARD WINNING COUNTDOWN to no ratings.
Tonights was unwatchable, from his usual mocking of Palin's book, Dobbs leaving CNN, and having "his buddy" Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on, basically a pitch for Health Care.
Granted, my heart does go out to Jabbar and hopes that he continues his face, but I'm getting tired of celebrities coming out (especially recently) with their personal health problems just to bring out an awareness to the plight of Heath Care here in the states.
I have respect for KISS drummer Peter Criss who did it right when he was dianosed with breast cancer, he did it during awareness week and handled it with class. He didn't preach he just said he had it, he's doing better.
I think Jabbar was doing the same thing, but Olbermann lured his ass out there to tie it into the health care debate.
From the interview, you could tell he really didn't want to be there. Jabbar, is very political but he's a very private individual. Bloated Olbermann, and damn didn't he look huge in that suit? Just kept going on and on. Disgusting.
Along the Silver lines, this e-mail was read on "The Factor" tonight (asterisks added by me):
Calley Pittman, Winchester, VA: "Bill, I appreciate the Factor's coverage of Fort Hood. It has been honest and fair. *The other networks are making excuses for Hasan. It is stunning and appalling.*"
And nowhere are more excuses made than the Hour of Spin.
Well, at least Keith didn't do the Ted Baxter voice. "The Factor" is the highest rated show in *cable news*. Okay, Keith? 'Kay?!...as you'd put it.
Anything on Ft. Hood or Hasan? Or is Olby just closing his eyes and hoping it goes away.
Anything on Ft. Hood/Hasan or is Olby still closing his eyes hoping the story goes away?
He only talks about it to mock conservatives and FNC personalities, such as the eeevil O'Reilly. How dare Bill have the nerve to say last night that "I have the highest rated show, Colmes," and declare that what Hasan did was terrorism.
Did y'all see the belly rolls leaking upward out of his pants and downward out of his vest?! Sickening! Jabbar could hardly keep from staring. Finnally KO crossed his arms over his paunch. He did NOT succeed in hiding it, did he? "Paunch" is really too mild a term. I was quite concerned about the welfare of that poor stool he was sitting on.
What a fat-assed fucking clown!
NewsBusters: Olbermann Makes Victory Lap in Honor of Dobbs Resignation.
Jeff Poor writes:
"Leave it to that bastion of grace and class that waxes poetically on a nightly basis about the wrongdoings of Republicans or conservatives ad nauseum known as MSNBC host Keith Olbermann to do Lou Dobbs resignation from CNN up just right.
Olbermann on his Nov. 11 'Countdown' broadcast honored Dobbs 30-year CNN career by naming him his third worst person in the world.
'The bronze to Lou Dobbs, who tonight, as of tonight, has just quit his CNN show,' Olbermann said.
Although it isn't quite clear why Olbermann decided to bestow that honor upon Dobbs, if for no other reason than for his decision to resign, Olbermann cherry-picked portions of Dobbs resignation speech from the Nov. 11 broadcast of 'Lou Dobbs Tonight' and even ad-libbed in his comments (actual transcript of Dobbs here).
'I'm the last of the original anchors here on CNN and I'm proud to have had the privilege of helping to build the world's first news network.' And then I discovered America,' Olbermann said, struggling with a Dobbs impersonation. 'Over the past six months it's become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us. And some leaders in media, and in politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role at CNN and to engage in constructive problem solving as well as to contribute positively to the great understanding of the issues of our day and to continue to do so in the most honest and direct language possible.'
Some on the left have seen Dobbs' departure as an opportunity to make their own jokes with Latino punch lines in honor of Dobbs. And, Olbermann was no exception.
'You just denied me that impression?' Olbermann said. 'How dare you sir! The rumor around here is they're going to do two hours of their 8 o'clock show and as to Dobbs, I hear he's going to Telemundo.'"
All the best, Lou.
I’m begining to wonder if Prejean reminds KO of one of those women he used to stalk..how else can you explain him using his show to go after her while givng little to no attention to the Hood shootings and on Veterans day of all things…
Of course I know he doesn’t really want to cover Hood period because it doesn’t fit the template of all these shootings..that are supposed to be carried out by Right-wing Christians who get their marching orders from Beck and Rush. New Murrow indeed.
Olby a victory lap?
He couldn't do a lap if he was being chased by rabid Beck and O'Reilly clones.
He would keel over from a heart attack!
Hypocrite.
Olbermann derides O'Reilly for voicing his opinion that the Fort Hood attack was terrorism (along with a tongue-in-cheek reason having to do with having the higherst ratings), when a lone shooter with no direct ties to any terrorist organization kills an abortionist Olbermann said the following:
"Which of these stories will you be talking about tomorrow?
"Domestic terrorism. Dr. George Tiller, women’s health physician, performer of legal abortions, is assassinated in his church. And in the very same sentence, anti-choice zealots wash their hands of his murder, and say he had it coming.
[...]
"The politics with Richard Wolffe. That advent of that which the Homeland Security Department warned, right-wing domestic terrorism, with Andrew Sullivan."

Ah yes....so quick to cover the isolated crime and call in terrorism, but an islamic fundamnetalist with actual evidence he was connected to other well-known islamic terrorists and Olbermann skips the story to do....what again....
Beavis & Butt-Head giggling over female masturbation.....
So, 14 wonderful people innocently lose their lives and Olbermann skips covering it, does not report, as a journalist, the growing evidence that Major Hasan was tied to jihadists, AND he mocks Bill O'Reilly for putting it out there that he says Hasan is a terrorist?.....And this man is considered a respectable anchorman?
Oh, BTW, O'Reilly made his claim in a debate with a liberal, Alan Colmes, who was given the time to refute his opinion.....How's Olbermann doing with that kind of format?
Oh, that's right.....Olbermann never has a moderate or conservative on his show to challenge the administration's or the radical left's agenda.....It's an hour of propaganda.
Cankles the clown....proving once again he is an incompetant hypocrite.
Keith's next impression: Howard Beale
He's "not gonna take it"... then keel
His shrink will vouch
Keith needs time on the couch
He's one fry short of a Happy Meal
Billo seems to be getting more support for his conclusion that Hasan was a terrorist. Cankles seems to be protecting the cult from the truth that makes Obama look bad.....
"Fort Hood shooting suspect Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan had been in contact with numerous Muslim extremists -- some of whom are under federal investigation -- before last week's rampage, two U.S. officials told The Washington Times on Wednesday.
"Maj. Hasan made some of the contacts while visiting known jihadist chat rooms on the Internet, according to one of The Times' sources, a senior FBI official. He said that several people with whom Maj. Hasan was in contact had been the focus of investigations by the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force.
"The other source, a military intelligence official, said those in contact with Maj. Hasan are located both in the U.S. and overseas. The official said they are 'broadly known and characterized as Islamic extremists if not necessarily al Qaeda.'
[...]
"These ties are in addition to Maj. Hasan's already-reported links to radical Imam Anwar al-Awlaki, who called Maj. Hasan a "hero" on a blog post about last week's Fort Hood shooting, which left 13 dead and 29 wounded.
"The military intelligence official said, 'Those connections, except for Awlaki, could be explained innocently. But all of them together form a very concerning picture.'
[...]
"Mr. al-Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen, was in contact with Maj. Hasan as many as 20 times beginning in December 2008, according to the FBI."

So one of Cankles' WPitW last night seems to be on the right side of the facts while Olbermann continues to choose to ignore this important story of jihad.
The motivation for this "journalist," to ignore the terrorist attack on a US base seems linked to his support for the current administration.....This attack occurred under Obama's watch and questions need answering!
COUNTDOWN, or the church of SNOBamessiah revival hour, is not concerned with truth....the concern is always propaganda that enables the radical anti-America left.
VERO POSSUMUS, indeed. Wee weed?
I can barely stand to look but I think his mouth is getting rounder and smaller........it is.....well......starting to look like the other end. Just after break last night I thought I saw an orange ring around his lips like he had been eating Cheezy Poofs with Cartman. Visiting Cartmans mom?
Oh boy, Obama is lying again. Will "speaks truth to power" Cankles call Obama to the carpet as he did with Bush for saying:
"Over the past 10 months, we've taken a number of bold steps to break the back of this recession. We've worked to stabilize the financial system, revive lending to small businesses and families, and prevent responsible homeowners from losing their homes. And through the Recovery Act, we’ve cut taxes for middle class families, extended and increased unemployment insurance, and created and saved more than a million jobs."

###
Oh boy....more and more evidence is piling up that the numbers the administration is using to report stimulus success with jobs are based on fabrications at all levels of government....top to bottom:
"While Massachusetts recipients of federal stimulus money collectively report 12,374 jobs saved or created, a Globe review shows that number is wildly exaggerated. Organizations that received stimulus money miscounted jobs, filed erroneous figures, or claimed jobs for work that has not yet started."

Where oh where has Olbermann been on this issue?....The same place he is on the Fort Hood terrorist attack....silent is service to Obama!
VERO POSSUMUS, indeed. Wee weed?
I just heard Ed Shultz call Hasan a "terrorist" and say he is no different from the 9/11 hijackers.
Seems like the the far left and MSNBC are finally getting on board with the facts of the case...well, everybody but Olby.
Didn't Olby just attack O'Reilly for calling him a terrorist? Does this mean that Ed Schultz is going to be tonight's Worst Person in the World.
Umm, no.
Dumb question, but seeing as that most of us frequent this site and other media \ conservative sites, let alone watch more cable news (some of us I'm assuming anyway) then should be recommended, would any of you actually buy a calendar, say, designed to make fun of our "favorite" villains with tidbits of trivia?
I'm sure its been thought of before, but I'm curious nonetheless.
