The Hour of Spin may be into reruns and clip shows, but John Gibson has not taken a vacation from keeping an eye on Bathtub Boy. Listen and enjoy, listen and enjoyers...
The Olbermann Watch Research Division poured through the MSNBC online transcripts yet again to see how much attention was paid to various stories and issues over the past week. Here is what our keyword searches found:

Get ready to recap another week of The Hour of Spin...comments are open!
You'd think this sort of thing would be over the top even for Krazy Keith, but no--there he is, saying that Joe Lieberman should jump off a bridge. Apparently that's within the Standards and Practices guidelines over at (MS)NBC these days. Listen as John Gibson lays it out, but don't skip the first part of this clip. That's where The Gibson Players do their world-famous dramatic readings from the blue blogs--paranoid, hate-filled rants against Sen Joe that set the stage for Edward R Olbermann's jaw-dropping notion that Lieberman should commit suicide. It's a clip for the ages, and Another Olbermann Watch Exclusive:
Discuss, resolve, then recap tonight's and Wednesday's Hour of Spin. Comments are open!

As the chart makes clear, Edward R Olbermann is a serious newsman, who doesn't fritter away his precious broadcast minutes on sleazy tabloid stories. Except when he does. And it appears that Herr Olbermahn is starting to develop a bunker mentality. Here he is at his blog-home Daily Kos, reacting to someone who posted comments critical of Obama. Commandant Olbermahn suggests he's an "infiltrator", and goes along with the idea that his comments should be made "hidden" (so that they are invisible and cannot be read). Does that sound familiar? Hey, just like on OlbyPlanet, where opposing views are made to disappear! That's Edward R Olbermann, proud defender of the 1st Amendment. Get ready to recap tonight's Hour of Spin...comments are open!
From today's Beck radio show. Listen up, listen uppers, then get set to recap!
The infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann continues to post at his blog-home, The Daily Kos (no conflict of interest there for the "nonpartisan" Olby!). His writings yesterday can only be described as laugh-out-loud funny:
I read with astonishment here and elsewhere that I am guilty of never presenting conflicting viewpoints. Do you know what the easiest form of "good tv" is? Put two guys on who disagree with each other and let them yell at each other.
How many times is Edward R Olbermann going to prop up this flimsy straw-man defense of his one-sided reportage? You don't have to put two guys on to yell. You can put two guys who won't scream at each other. Hell Keith, you could just put one guy on who doesn't parrot your talking points. No yelling, no screaming, just a point of view other than the prevailing dogma of OlbyPlanet. But for some reason you won't do that.
I am pleased to be able to say that I've never put something on Countdown to toe a party line.
Yikes!
I'd rather devote the time to personally rebutting something else that has been let loose into the ether without rebuttal...
Hey Keithy, letting stuff loose into the ether without rebuttal...that's exactly what you do on your Hour of Spin. Five nights a week, 52 weeks a year (minus Bathtub breaks). And the latest proof of that is the November guest list. We poured through the MSNBC online transcripts and tallied the data. Take a gander at the results:

Olbermann doesn't toe any party line, does he? None of that putting stuff out without rebuttal for him! Why can't he tell the truth? There's more rebuttal on Radio North Korea than on Countdown!

What is MSNBC up to? John GIbson worked there for years and in his new book he devotes an entire chapter to A-Mess-NBC's deranged hatemonger, the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann! Here he is with Sean Hannity with a preview!
John Gibson explains for the uninitiated what we here at Olbermann Watch have known for years: the infamous, deplorable one has the worst track record of any so-called 'pundit' not just on A-Mess-NBC but anywhere in the known 'verse. Listen, enjoy, then prepare to recap Herr Olbermahn's post-speech Hour of Spin. And Wednesday's crapfest too! Comments are open!
