Before KO and the rest of the MSM starts going crazy over the O'Keef story they should be reminded of how they downplayed the case of the Elderly couple who were just driving around when their police scanner just happen to pick-up a call between Newt Gingrich and John Boehner and they just happen to have a recorder device and decide just for fun to tape the call and just for a lark gave it to Dem.Congressman Jim McDermott who used it to force Newt Gingrich back in 1997.

Now even though it was highly illegal and no one in the MSM question how or why the couple just happen to have a tape recorder hooked up to their police scanner or why they gave it to McDermott...At the time the MSM said what was recorded was more important than how it was recorded..

The fact is McDermott is still in Congress and has never had to seriously deal with illegally having Newt recorded..so when KO and the MSM starts going on about how horrible it was what O'Keefe is accused of just remember how they ignored McDermott. New Murrow Indeed.
