Olbermann Watch, "persecuting" Keith since 2004

    January 20, 2010
    Plan 9 from OlbyPlanet!

Don't be shocked that the protector of habeas corpus, Mr Civil Rights himself, Edward R Olbermann, thinks that the burden of proof is not on the accuser, but rather that people should be presumed guilty until they can prove themselves innocent. Because he got this logic from a highly regarded repository of intellectual thought:

    Criswell is Keith's dad?

    My world is crushed!

Does anyone know how MSNBC covered the Coakley concession speech last nite? I know they cut off Brown's speech, but did they show the whole Coakley speech or cut it off too?

The Coakley speech was much shorter and they showed it all. You could tell Keith was irritated that the Brown speech was using up all of his air time.

    Gracias!

If for anything, CNN cut out early from the Coakley & Brown speeches.

It seems FNC was the only one to cover both start to finish.

You know, the 'not a real news network'. LOL!

Hey KO, why don't you try to "prove" you're a journalist.

Okay...finally the Goobermann song sung to the Spiderman tune :)
    January 20, 2010 - 09:24 ET by Dr.Doctrine

Goobermann, Goobermann, says whatever a Goobie can

Spins a lie any size, sits in poop just like flies

Look out, here comes the Goobermann

Is he wrong? Listen Bud, He's dumber than Elmer Fudd

He wants to be just like Rather, listen to his awful blather

Hey, there! There goes the Goobermann

In the chill of the night at home alone

He goes to bed wishing Sarah would phone

Goobermann, Goobermann, ranting and raving, Goobermann

Wealth and fame escape his grasp, Bill O"Reilly kicks his ass

Look out, here comes the Goobermann

Goobermann, Goobermann, ranting and raving, Goobermann

Wealth and face escape his grasp, Bill O'Reilly kicks his ass

For him, life's too hard on this pup, Wherever there's a hang up

    You'll find the Goobermann!

    Trust me, I'm a Doctor.

Olbermann is pathedic. When Fox News covers elections, they interview both the candidates and the voters. They are the real news organization on cable. If you listen to the commentators on MSNBC last night, you saw how petty they were and biased they were against republicans with Olbermann leading the way. When President Obama won Virginia in the 2008 presidential elections, you didn't hear Fox News anchors or commentators asking if the voters of Virginia were idiots or were they making a big mistake. They asked why did the voters vote that way and what are the effects on the political landscape? I guarantee the idiots at MSNBC did not sleep well last night. They are afraid that the Tea Party movment is for real and their days are numbered.

As bad as KOKO was last night, Maddow's facial expression when the AP called the race for Brown was absolutely priceless. It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Her and Matthews sitting there...stunned...frowns on their faces and so sad.

Then Cankles comes on the air and proceeds to bash Scott Brown again, again and again.

NBC must be so proud to have this lunatic on their network.

I think MSNBC will have pretty good ratings from last night because everyone tuned in to watch the 3 of them lose their minds.

Number of days Martha Coakley went on vacation during the campaign: 20

Amount of money Barack Obama spent on getting Scott Brown elected: $2,600,000,000,000

The look on Rachel Maddow's face when the AP called the race for Scott Brown: PRICELESS

just HAD to share this with everyone. When the MSNBC crew tell Olbermann that Brown won last night. Enjoy

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4aQCiRjvZY&feature=player_embedded

    $2.6 trillion?

I'm gonna leave this post at the top, because I can. So use this thread for tonite's Hour of Spin. Will Olby show up? Will he be in full Brown-and-all-his-voters-are-racist-teabaggers mode? Post your reactions and comments here. Somebody has to recap the show since nobody watches it! And remember, "can you prove it didn't happen"?

Ok KO is using a poll by Move.org..that shows some bizzare results where the people that voted for Brown actually want the HC bill even stronger?

Can someone tell this loser to get over it! Brown won the libs lost..

Ok KO is going to prove all the things he has been saying about Sen.Brown he has proof! Oh boy!

According to WikiAnswers, between TARP, the bailout, and the budget it was $2.6T on Mar. 20, 2009. I have seen numbers as high as $5.9T after doing a little more Googling, Mike.

Ok He called Sen, Brown a racesists for saying that Obama parents were not married..that is racest? Wasn't Obama mother white? Ok so is he a racest against white people? OK

Here is a try example of raceism on the part of KO

27 Sep 2007 ... Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles at its finest when remarking on a NFL AFrican American returing a kickoff when he was working for Nbc's Sunday night coverage...

On the comment that Brown supports violence against women, those thast he dosen't supprot..for something that he might or nit have respounded to at a rally on Sunday where someone shouted that they should stick a iron up her butt?

Ok here is an example of a person KO dosent supprt making a comment about Hillary CLinton

Right. Somebody who can take her into a room and only he comes out

Well during the larry craig scannel..how many bad off the color jokes did he make..Did he really have to go down that road when it only seemed like all homosexuals act in such ways..

I call KO a a homophobi, raceist, jerk that supports violence against women that he dosent support..

Ok and as far as being a tea party member..well KO if you think Daily Koz is a middle of the road web site..WOWO...

Ok I proved my point in ten minutes of easy gool searches..

Im sure there are many many MORE!!!

    Wpitw: Post Brown Election edition

Bronze: Pete King: For using the term Politlal Earthquake.

Silver:Grechen Carlson: to get out the vote for Brown and uses day one post election as how it's always going to be.

GOLD: BECK for the crime of Brown's off handed about his daughters. When BECK WAS JOKING and everyone (but Keithy) knows it!

And I wonder if the Deplorable One raised the same hell with Letterman when he made a sexual comment about Sarah Palin's underaged daughter?

He didn't? He thought it was a harmless joke? That's a shocker!

As they say on Gibby's show, striving to be the worst of bathtub boy, but always the best for you!

Bath tub boy is devoting another segment to his latest konspiracy theory -- GITMO "suicides".

Add this to the list of, Only in olby's mind:

    "Karl Rove's indictment"
    "Dick Chenny's death aquad"
"CIA sat on intel of the crotch bomber to embarrass the Obama administration"

Capping off the evening olby tries to prop up Obama by cherry picking an outlier poll....typical. Get over it, loser, Obama's approval rating, even with the outlier, is 49%!

Brown PIMPING out his daughters, Gitmo "suicides," remove Joe Lieberman, Quadruple bashing of Senator elect Brown after teasing it as an apology, KWIK, KWEER, KOMALIKE KOMMENTS guaranteed to induce vomiting......and on and on and on....This KO pussy surpasses Morton Downey, Jr., Jerry Springer, and Vince McMahon COMBINED in his ability to create something out of nothing and VICE VERSA.

Don't you KNOW Olbermosexual was nursing a little biddy woody while gawking at the Brown daughters. They're the perfect age for his PERVERTEDNESS, except that any sane woman under 60 would run for cover at just a glance from the dickhead. Yes Tur, that makes you NOT sane.

I have no idea what election night come November is going like on MSNBC if things turn as bad as some thing it might be for the libs..what ever Republican is going to be sexist....blah blah blah...

All I can say is get the bathtubb water ready I have a feeling Ko is going be to be spening lots of baths next winter!

In Kwik Komment #1, Bullymann mocked a Dallas Morning News writer and firmly stood by his attacks on Senator-elect Brown from Monday night and from last night. He uttered "specificially" repeatedly. Far-right! [Ding!] And he went back to the guilty-until-proven-innocent Plan 9 from OlbyPlanet line.
In the Media Matters Minute, Worse was Rep. Peter King (R-NY 3rd). Likely blue blog source: MyStateLine. How dare he use an earthquake analogy! Buttonheaded!
Worser was Gretchen Carlson. Clusterfox and Friends! [Ding!] Blue blog source: Think Propaganda. After pretending to read business news in a serious voice, he muttered, "There's something else Fox News knows crap about." Try watching FNC at 4PM weekdays, 10AM to noon on Saturdays, and FBN every day. Or do you just watch those channels when they appear in a clip or transcript on a blue blog? Oh, wait.
Worst was Another Beck Attack. Lonesome Rhodes! [Ding!] A joke about Scott Brown noting his daugthers were available was an allusion to Gary Condit and Chandra Levy?! Can you prove it didn't happen? (The video at the top of this thread inspired me to write that.) For those that aren't Glenn Beck Insiders, you can read the transcript here. "And the lunatic fringe [Ding!] is bitching about how *I* referred to Brown? Compared to Beck, I'm Brown's best friend." Yeah, right. That'll happen.

You know, if for any reason ya'll think that this loathsome piece of shit isn't probably the biggest Christian believer you'd ever meet, you better think again. Honestly. He's still breathing and or not walking in a wheel chair.

With the invectives, his bile filled rants, his use of 5 hours a week (if he can even pull off a full week) of nothing but trashing and crapping on people, his utter naked jealousy, his blinding partisanship, his clear hatred for anyone who disagrees with his sacred opinion (rather "facts"), his utter puss-ified way in which he does ALL he can not to have anyone on his show but lemmings, and the fact that he on a NIGHTLY basis goes after people in the worst way, and by his own admission, a brick hasn't been brought into contact with his head, is nothing short of amazing.

Now you tell me he doesn't have a pact with God?

In other news, that Muppet Mouth who occasionally replaces him is getting a bit more bold these days.

    http://twitter.com/MSDNCTeabaggers

NBC is coming apart at the seams. If it's not the ratings on everything NBCU/Comcast owns (except USA), it's the late night Leno/Conan mess or it's having their own stars of their shows just bitchslap Jeff Zucker in the press (Mariska Hargitay in More). It must suck to work at 30 Rock right now.

It must suck even more to be the idiot at Comcast to suggest to buy NBCU! He won't be able to find work in a India Customer Service call center at this point.

The DMN writer has replied to Keith's Kwik Komment attack. Michael Landauer said:
"Keith Olbermann attacked me for attacking him for attacking Scott Brown. He says I have infinite space to explain what lie I am referring to. The link I had made it clear. He was lying about Scott Brown reacting to a vulgar comment at one of his rallies. He shared the response of the campaign, but asserted that Brown responded to the comment. There's no evidence to back that up. And now he continues to assert that Scott Brown participates in a vulgar sexual act himself. Olbermann is quite aware of the vulgar definiton of the phrase 'tea bagging' and he uses it repeatedly. Saying something you know is untrue (the tea 'bag' references) and saying something without any proof is dishonest. Plus, it's just name-calling. Aren't we better than that?
And finally, he characterizes me as a far right-winger. Regular readers of this blog certainly got a chuckle out of that. (I spent part of my day, by the way, defending our recent criticism of Rush!)
So, while I think it's dandy for Keith to go on at some length on Scott Brown on these other issues, and who knows, maybe all of that's true, it seems clear to me that he is not telling the truth about the reaction to the vulgar comment at the rally, and that was my point, that was the link I cited in the post, and that was the lie I identified.
Besides, that point was made in passing. Pundits lie by ommission and assertion every day. The bigger question is why MSNBC let a political pundit anchor a live news event. Olbermann did not address that in tonight's rant."

That takes us back to Monday's thread: Olby can't take criticism. J$: "Yes, if anyone dares to criticize the Great and Powerful Olb, they must be 1. a troll B. part of a Limbaugh plot against him III. part of an O'Reilly plot against him. d. an evil right-wing troll. Paranoia strikes deep."

Olby also did not tell the whole story about Obama's approval rating. While the AP does have it at 56% (the highest among all the polls cited at Real Clear Politics) the average in all the polls is 49.9%. He conveniently left out his network's poll (NBC News) which shows an approval rating of 48%.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_obama_job_approval-1044.html

Then Olby says Obama's 56% rating is twice that of President George W. Bush's approval for his second term. WOW.

President Bush had an approval rating of 57% in his second term right after the Iraqi elections in February 2005.

    http://www.gallup.com/poll/113641/despite-recent-lows-bush-approval-average-midrange.aspx

So if Obama's rating is 56% and it is TWICE that of GWB in his second term, that would mean President Bush had an approval rating of 28%. Again, referring to the link above, that is NOT TRUE. GWB's approval did not fall below 28% until October 2008 right after the housing market collapse...a grand total of 4 months out of 48 months in his second term.

But this is Olby mathematics, the same math he used to say he has the highest rated show in a demo that does not exist and the #1 show for people who do not watch Fox News.

    Nice try, Edward.

He DOES have the number 1 show on the Planet of the Apes though

Mike C, Red eye's half time report. Just sayin'!

It's about how a state a year ago went for Obama by 26 points is now a state full of teabagging racists!

It was very easy to find documented proof that Olbermann lied about Scott Brown yesterday and Wednesday....All I did was go to NewsBusters and they have the documentation....

Factcheck: Olbermann Repeats Incorrect Anti-Scott Brown Claims of Racism & Vulgarity, Insists He's Correct

"Olbermann also incorrectly claimed that Brown 'never refuted' a vulgar threat made at one of his recent campaign rallies during which one audience member called for a curling iron to be 'shoved up the butt' of Brown’s opponent, Attorney General Martha Coakley, because of a controversial case in which Coakley was accused of not being aggressive enough in prosecuting a child rapist who assaulted a baby using a curling iron.

"Even though the Boston Herald's Daily Briefing blog and Politico.com both reported on Monday that Brown contended that he had not heard the remarks as he was speaking and went on to denounce the comments as being out of line, Olbermann on Tuesday and Wednesday claimed that Brown had not issued such a repudiation.

"But on Monday, January 18, 2010, at Politico.com, in the article 'Massachusetts Gets Ugly,' Ben Smith reported: 'Brown called the supporter's words ‘inappropriate’ and said he hadn't heard them.'

"And also on Monday, according to the Boston Herald's Daily Briefing blog, in the article, 'Brown Denounces Curling Iron Comment,' Hillary Chabot reported: 'GOP U.S. Senate candidate Scott Brown said a supporter's remarks about shoving, 'a curling iron up (Martha Coakley's) butt,' were innapropriate today. 'If I had heard it I would have said something,' said Brown today.'"

There are a lot more examples of Olbermann's lies....Check out the link to see.

I wonder if Olbermann will issue a retraction?....It is clear Brown said the comments at the rally were inappropriate in direct contradiction to Olbermann's claim that he never refuted the comment.

The racist claim is thin on it's surface and when one looks at the context (Brown was in a conversation that also talked about the WHITE out-of-wedlock child of Bristol Palin's) it is obvious Olbermann lies here as well.

Quality journalism....an MSNBC anchor lies multiple times and then lies again the next night about a Senator of The United States.

My question, based on the assumption that the anti incumbent sentiment will hold untill November, Will BTB's head explode right on screen? or will the pressure leading up to the election cause him to be outfitted with drool cup, diapers, and a straight jacket?

Oh BOY SPECIAL SPECIAL COMMENT TONIGHT about the Supreme COurt throwing out Campaigh Reform! ROFL!

HAHA! MSNBC gets about a 100,000 veiwer bump from the elections, Fox gets 3 to 4 MILLION!

Not just the Halftime Report, Syvyn, but the top of the "Red Eye," too. The first topic was Brown's victory and Olby and Howie playing the race card. Plus, Red Eye Robot Theater went back to Media Matters.

Those ratings for MSNBC are a fucking train wreck. Calling yourself "The Place for Politics" and finishing third in election coverage? Time for a new slogan.

This should be awesome...more camera angles, swivels and paper re-adjustments. This clown gets more and more comical everyday.

Hang on, gonna check over at the Kos to see if they have their panties in a bunch over this....Yep, just as I thought. I counted 10 diaries today and here are a couple of my favorites:

Supreme Court Hands America To Corporations
No, Justice Kennedy, this travesty by the court is unlawful!
Supreme Court Okays Corporate Purchase of Politicians
IT’S TIME TO FIGHT THE SCOTUS TREASON
SCOTUS gives corporations green light to buy elections

Oh man, Olby's head is going to explode. First Scott Brown and now this...it's gonna be fun.

Let's see if Olby uses any of the phrases from his base at the Kos. Treason? Purchase of politicians? Buy elections? Corporations? Unlawful?

More fallout on the poor performace of the MSNBC "news anchors" this past Tuesday night....

"If you watched CNN or Fox News last night, you got a balanced analysis of how Republican Scott Brown pulled off the political upset of the century (or, if you prefer, how Democrat Martha Coakley blew a dead solid electoral lock). Yes, I said Fox News, without irony. To be sure, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity made it clear they were rooting for Brown. But their shows also included a steady parade of liberal-leaning guests -- former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown, former Dukakis campaign manager Susan Estrich, Democratic party strategist Mary Anne Marsh, NPR commentator Juan Williams and radio host Alan Colmes. And pollster Frank Luntz interviewed a panel of two dozen or so Massachusetts voters, most of them Democrats, about how they voted and why. Practically every conceivable perspective on the election was represented.

"And on MSNBC, you got practically every conceivable expression of venom against Brown and anybody who voted him. From Maddow's dark suspicions that the election was rigged -- she cited complaints about a grand total of six ballots out of about 2.25 million cast -- to Olbermann's suggestion in the video up above that the same Massachusets voters who went for Barack Obama by a 62-28 percent margin had suddenly realized they helped elect a black guy and went Republican in repentance, the network's coverage was idiotic, one-sided and downright ugly.

"Olbermann was simply outraged by the vote. 'The teabaggers may have elected their first guy tonight,' he declared as Brown rolled up a commanding lead. Just in case the connotations of the word teabag might be lost on his audience, he clarified his feelings: 'I wanted to apologize for calling Republican Senate candidate, Scott Brown, an irresponsible homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against women and against politicians with whom he disagrees. I`m sorry -- I left
    out the word sexist.'

"It may be too much to expect NBC, these days reduced to a national wisecrack, to be embarrassed over the frothing lunacy that passes for news coverage at corporate stepchild MSNBC. But both networks are part of the same news division. If news boss Steve Capus thinks his reporters can continue to appear with Olbermann and Maddow without suffering credibility contamination, he's dumber than whoever was behind the Leno/O'Brien late-night shuffle."

Nice....FNC even got a nice "fair and balanced " compliment from the critic.

MSNBC jumped the shark this week....They will continue to lose audience for their political coverage and I expect a different crew anchoring on election night in November.

It seems Olbermann wants to change the subject to another leftist bogeyman tonight....Good luck with that.

Uh, oh...the left is starting to froth at the mouth over some pictures of Scott Brown with his daughters and a video his wife shot back in 1984.....

Uh, oh....Keith Olbermann may have a male version of his Sarah Palin obsession!....We'll see tonight if the leftist shill parrots the nut-roots' hatred for the Ted Kennedy's replacement.
