The Olbermann Watch Research Division poured through the MSNBC online transcripts yet again to see how much attention was paid to various stories and issues over the past week. The results are unusually revealing. Here is what our keyword searches found:

Notes: 'Crazy' Larry O'Donnell filled in for Edward R Olbermann on Friday. Iraq reference count does not include Oralmann's ritual closing mantra.
Who knew that the three most important news developments of last week were health care, George Bush, and Brit Hume?!? Get ready to recap another dismal five days of The Hour of Spin...comments are open!
HOLY MARISKA HARGITAY!!!!!!
Crazy Larry is in the HIZOUSE!!!!
Maybe Keith is giving "Feckless" Harry a backrub in the tub.
What has to be two of the biggest f-ups in the news and it sends Olby to the tub?
NBC's grand experiment with Leno goes down in flames and now Feckless Harry Reid's ass being covered by the entire DNC, and I'm sure all across MSNBC (except Olby).
Why didn't they just air another night of prison docs?
So, last week, Pencil Dick came in third place 4 out of 5 nights in the demo. He came in a DISTANT second of course in the total audience. But as we've learned, over and over, the all important demo is just that, and he lost 4 out of 5 nights to Bill and Nancy.
He was then off Friday night.
He's now off tonight. Forget the fact that he's more than likely in the tub because there's just too many water walkers coming off as racist assholes, and his Messiah's ratings keep sinking, and the EVIL Scott Brown may pull off a win in the bluest of the blue states, he's off yet another night truly earning his what, 7.5 mil?
I'm not complaining mind you. He's a joke, a belligerent angry desperate joke who by his own words should have had a brick brought to the side of his head. But is he a joke that's really worth the money? Comcast? Anyone?
I was perusing to see what the Kos Kids were saying about Olby not putting in a full week and this is what he said:
"I simply could not work a six day week, with my father hospitalized since August.
Football ends today for NBC, thus we return to the M-F schedule, Monday".
"If you're going through hell - keep going!" -- Winston Churchill

Well, it's Monday and there is no sign of Cankles. I'm sure he will use his Dad as an excuse but anyone with an I.Q. over 9 knows he is sitting in the tub (Reid comments/Obama terrorism failure/Democrats retiring/Democrats losing Congressional seats, ect).
I assume he will be back tomorrow night with his misogyny in overdrive over Sarah Palin signing with Fox News. I bet he does a MINIMUM of 2 segments on her AND a Quick Komment.
God help us.
Too bad Sarah isn't getting her own show,
It'd be funny to see her get better ratings than Bathtub Boy. But any Fox show already beats Bathtub Boy, but in Olbyverse they don't matter " We're #1, We're #1!!"
#5 Harry Reid screws up, it's all the republicans fault! How dare those evil republicans use a page from the democratic play book. Also blamed Limbaugh for Barack the magic negro claiming he started it when the phrase came from the LA times. Will we get a correction? Melissa Harris-Lacewell puts in an appearance to once again make the assertion that racsist statements are racsits not because of the speakers intent but because of the listeners interpretation. When will the republicans learn that they are inherently racsists and democrats never are?
#4 In breaking news, Bill Clinton cheats on his wife and Joe biden says stupid things. Tomorrow stay tuned when Countdown reveals that water is wet and fire is hot. In a side note crazy Larry said (paraphrasing) "attacking the methodology but not the facts means the facts are correct". We could point out the obvious here that Countdown is all about attacking methodology but who doesn't know that by now?
#3 The attack Palin segment for the night. Look someone said Palin is stupid, haha she's so stupid! Then Margret Carlson makes a funny, republicans like stupid canidates, just look at Bush. Haha we democrats are so smart we make republican's brains hurt. We are the smartest peoples ever! All your government are belong to us! As a nod to segment 1 Carlson also laid the claim that Foxnews never offers corrections for on air mistakes, hello pot, meet kettle.
#2 No worse person in the world?!? Boy will Keith be mad. Instead they talk about Jay Leno. Lots of talk that no one is watching NBC at nights anymore. Again is anyone suprised?
#1 American Idol talk? Teo segments on entertainment news? And this is the place for politics? The only reason for this segment is to try to distract from the fact that NBC is sucking hind teet. The old bait and switch where MSNBC tries to make FOX broadcasting look like it's in as much peril as NBC. Here's to hoping the president of comcast has more brains then Immlet.
So far Olbermann has worked 4 out of 6 days in 2010, that's 67% effort from bathtub boy so far.
With Sarah Palin, Fox News will gain
For others, that must be a pain
In their main stream ass
Fox appeals to the mass
The others are circling the drain
Oddball, Bests, Worsts, and Quick Comment are Olby-only segments.
Perhaps Olbermann can muster enough energy to come in and bash Scott Brown for believing the government belongs to the people.
Nah. Today's a good day to insult Sarah Palin.
Let them insult Sarah. It just makes them look small and petty.
At least this got Keith out of the tub.
And he blames the Mark McGuire roid debalcal on BUSH?
(clap clap) Respect, fat ass. It's all Bush's fault! Epic.
WPITW
Bronse: BILL CUNNINHAM! For his show vs. Jerry Springer on WGN America for telling the truth. Bill might be pissed that he only gets third place. Listen to wild Bill at noon est or podcasts at 700wlw.com. Both are free. Listening to Bill for decades (before Rush), I know that Willie will only try harder to get to number 1!
Silver: Tucker Carlson: for web posts about climate change. Then says the stuff wasn't written by Carlson.
GOLD: Gretchen Barret: for wanting to stop terrorists from getting in our country. I figure they can get in if they swear to destroy a certain Cable news Network. JUST JOKING!
I hate Keith Olbermann.

Just wanted to post this in case it gets taken down over at mediaite.

As Steve would say...
“And all this was before she made her debut.”
Once again fair and balanced reporting by the man who speaks truth to power. Didn’t Olby say on his KOS blog he was going back to putting in a five day work week since football was over. And then he calls out sick to soak in the tub Monday night?
Meanwhile, Olby soaks because he has the sniffles & Beck is doing his show today with a cold. And you can hear it in his voice. Priorites?
Here was the most telling part, ““We’ve seen the YouTube videos of her brief sportscasting career so clearly she’s over-qualified to be an analyst at Fox News.”
I guess the Olb’s is that insecure. If it ever came down to Olby or Palin getting a shot on ESPN we would………oh wait, I forgot. Olby got banned from the ESPN campus for doing something with a female employee.
http://thebiglead.com/?p=6325
But his crowd will sit in front of their tv sets and believe every word he says about an interview, before the interview is shown. Doesn’t matter anyway, because the real deal here is O’Reilly beats Olby as Mike Lange would say. “Like A Rented Mule”. O’Reilly has Palin on, Olby can’t contain his insecurity. Olby’s PDS goes through the roof. Olby goes off the rails before the interview, so people that were watching his show tune over to FNC.
Once again, game, set, match O’Reilly.
Meanwhile, Olby is left with his close little group. You know, those brilliant minds who think that Stupid White People should be shot in the back of the head. So fair, so open minded.
Up next! Palin does a whole hour with Glenn today at 5. Like any fair minded person, I have questions about Palin. But one thing I have to say. I just love the way she makes people like Olby & Maddow go off the rails everytime she shows up. Here they sit up in their Ivory Towers at MSNBC telling the world. “Don’t pay attention to her. She’s dumber then a box of rocks.” And then they proceed to lose their minds when she shows up on tv.”
As Bugs Bunny would say….

posted by me about 5 minutes ago. I'm on the might be banned list right now over there.
For the record, Puck made his comment here: Olbermann Comments On Palin To Fox News [in #5A] (As Do Other TV Critics).
And yes folks, whatever I said in that post just got me banned from Mediaite.
It's funny, you are allowed to attack, call people names, pretty much get away with any thing you want. But what I posted got me banned.
http://www.mediaite.com/online/keith-olbermann-tv-critic-comments-on-fox-newssarah-palin-as-do-other-tv-critics/
It seems posters in that thread are allowed to go all nuts over Palin, but what I said about Olby got me banned.
I guess Mr. Thin Skin has got pull at mediaite, or there is a double standard.
That's a shame because I had some resepect for Steve K.
respect.....!

Thanks Mike
That waste of skin troll roxsteady ruined a perfectly good topic over at Mediaite.
By cjflan32 on January 13, 2010 2:14 PM
But they don't ban roxsteady.
I'd say there's a double standard. The site leans left, as exhibited by admitted liberal Tommy Christopher and some other guy whose name I forget. I'm mixed on Rachel Sklar and fairly okay with Steve Krakauer.
By Mike C. on January 13, 2010 3:02 PM
Would that be Coby Hall? I would just like to say, I didn't have a problem with any of them. I like Glynnis, and she is off the charts left!
I can just see her watching Glenn Beck and screaming at the tv. lol
Steve Krakauer said yesterday he was going to start banning people. okay, I'm down with that. Now, You have somebody like roxsteady that someone called out on a thread asking if he/she had posted on another site that she/he thinks. All stupid people should be shot in the back of the head. roxsteady not only said she/he did write that. But roxsteady doubled down the next day and backed that up.
I get on this morning and roxsteady is off and running. Bad words, attacks, you name it. So I posted my rant (which just happens to be about Olbermann). Was it an attack? Okay, some will say that. But I didn't swear. And there was some posts with really bad words and a lot worse then mine up there.
Hit the send button, it got posted. But with the 'your comment is waiting moderation' at the top. A half hour later it was gone. I tried posting again and it got refused.
So it's a shame. I thought it was a good site with good people even though we might have had different views. It would have been nice if their were rules posted. It would have been nice if Steve addressed it in a thread. But it's their site and they can run it as they see it.
I've had posts taken down at breitbart, but I knew why. No bad words.
Johnny Dollar put me in time out once because I ran afoul of the rules. He will also edit your posts. But you know why, you ran afoul of the rules.
But with no explanation, as to why my post got taken down. And then to be banned, while others stay. I guess that MikeC is right. There is a double standard.
Or did Mr. Olbermann see it and call Steve and make him take it down. Well, okay. Doesn't matter in the end, it got posted here. Where Mr. Olbermann doesn't have any pull.
Steve Krakauer did it. So beware of him folks. But I had no problem with anybody else there, I wish them well and I'll miss Glyniss.
