We noted the words of the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann before. At his blog of choice, The Daily Kos (no conflict of interest there for the "nonpartisan" Olby!), his writings still resound as preposterously absurd:
I read with astonishment here and elsewhere that I am guilty of never presenting conflicting viewpoints. Do you know what the easiest form of "good tv" is? Put two guys on who disagree with each other and let them yell at each other.
How many times is Edward R Olbermann going to prop up this flimsy straw-man defense of his one-sided reportage? You don't have to put two guys on to yell. You can put two guys who won't scream at each other. Hell Keith, you could just put one guy on who doesn't parrot your talking points. No yelling, no screaming, just a point of view other than the prevailing dogma of OlbyPlanet. But for some reason you won't do that.
I am pleased to be able to say that I've never put something on Countdown to toe a party line.
Yikes!
I'd rather devote the time to personally rebutting something else that has been let loose into the ether without rebuttal...
Hey Keithy, letting stuff loose into the ether without rebuttal...that's exactly what you do on your Hour of Spin. Five nights a week, 52 weeks a year (minus Bathtub breaks). And today's proof comes to us via the January guest list. We poured through the MSNBC online transcripts and tallied the data. Note that we generously regarded numerous appearances by the likes of Richard Wolffe-Man and Howard Fineman as neutral, despite their habit of bending over backwards to agree with Herr Olbermahn. But even with these tendentious "journalists" out of the mix, the results are still stunning:

Olbermann doesn't toe any party line, does he? None of that putting stuff out without rebuttal for him! Why can't he tell the truth? There's more rebuttal on Radio North Korea than on Countdown!
Discuss, resolve, and then recap the latest Hour of Spin. Comments are open!
He was in rare form tonight, one lie after another from Heir Olbermann, the fact that he still has a job is boggling to me.
Heads up for anybody that get's 'Fusion' mag. Heard this morning on Glenn's radio show, that Stu is working on an Article about Olbermann's lies for the next edition of 'Fusion'.
go to glennbeck.com for further info.
Jon Stewart will be on O'Reilly tomorrow. Remember after Stewart roasted Olbermann, Olbermann almost begged to go on Stewart's show? Now Stewart is going on O'Reilly.
And while Olby has had on the same old talking parrots. O'Reilly has really been stepping it up with his guest list. Joe Klein, Gavin Newsome, Colmes, Leslie Marshall, Sally Quinn and now Stewart?
O'Reilly is putting on better liberals then Olbermann!
The only people left watching Olbermann are Kool-Aid drinkers, Shut-ins that live with their mom, and his far-left pin-head friends from the upper west side. All two of them.
#1 One huh?
Beat CNN in total viewers?
http://www.mediaite.com/tv/cnn-tops-msnbc-in-weekday-prime-time-for-first-time-in-six-months/
Really?
Maybe BOR is doing Keith's math on the whole ratings gaffe. Hmmm?
But keith "set the record straight?" End of story. Nothing to see here. Let's talk about Palin....Rush...anything....crickets.....
I spent 15 minutes trying to write up a recap of #2 and then accidentally deleted the entire text. Ctrl+z doesn't work in this comment box. Oh, well. All that time down the drain. Here's the short version:
Worse was F&F for the bow to Mayor Iorio, which I had no idea about until tonight.
Worser was Glenn Beck plus National Review and the "right-wing [Ding!]" (except that they aren't) Daily Finance for bringing up the sagging ratings. Ratings went up 5% at 8PM from December to January, said Olbermoronn. They went up 10%...no 6% (he corrected himself) at 10PM. They beat CNN and HLN in total viewers at 8PM in January. Number one show not on Fox [Ding!] (paraphrase): "meaning...we were the number one actual cable news show."
Worst was Glenn Beck for Slaughtered-Gate, or whatever it's being called. After a couple of gotcha out-o'-context clips, Lonesome Olbs went into his hyperbolic absurdity, concluding with: (paraphrase): "There's not really a Glenn Beck! We've always been at war with East Asia!"
First let's use stupid's little segment, no doubt pulled from Media Matters.
Trust me folks, you are going to love this.

Uh oh! looks like Keith has got Beck, NOT!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qsf86QSwhYc
It's good by looking at the real ratings these days that most people don't get fooled by 'Chop Shop Video' anymore.

Speaking of that Beck segment you linked to, Noel Sheppard wrote about said segment at NewsBusters.
"Ratings went up 5% at 8PM from December to January, said Olbermoronn. They went up 10%...no 6% (he corrected himself) at 10PM."
Well duh. TV watching overall is way down in December. That's why everybody measures year to year: Jan 2009 vs Jan 2010. Plus remember that Olby wasn't on for half of December? They had subs and special clip shows.
What a sleazy liar is Olbermann.
The Fox News Olbsession is in full swing. During the Keith segment (Odd Ball) there was a news broadcast with a worker in the background on the computer looking at a picture of a semi-nude woman to which Olby replied, "the incident has been brought to the attention of the bank management...and the woman has been brought to the attention of Fox News management".
Ah, the misogyny is back. Taking another swipe at the women who work at Fox News. But it didn't end there.
WPITW (Bronze)...Gretchen Carlson's fill in Fox and Friends, Alisyn Camerota. Olby states, "Said Gretchen Carlson's back up, NOW THERE'S A SAD JOB."
Why did Alisyn receive the WPITW you ask. For saying, "What is going on here"...referring to Obama bowing to the Tampa, Fla. mayor.
Olby just can't stand the fact that a good looking, conservative woman works for a successful cable news network. So add Alisyn Camerota to the laundry list of successful women Olby has an Olbsession with...I think it's up to 14 now.
About Beck...I just laugh now when he pulls out the old stand by, "The highest rated cable news show not on Fox News". Does he understand how sad, pathetic and jealous he sounds? I didn't check the numbers because I don't really care. All I know is that his show is in the tank and he can't stand it...that's enough for me.
I also love the fact that NOBODY at Fox News refers to him by name. I know this drives him completely nuts because he loves the sound of his own name.
Indeed he is. We should expect nothing less from the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann.
The only FNC shows that do refer to him by name are "Fox & Friends" and "Red Eye." Of those, "Red Eye" does it the most. And I'm glad they do, especially through Red Eye Robot Theater.
I could be wrong but I have never seen Olby go after Red Eye.
It's a sad time for Olbs, not that I'm crying.

"I just laugh now when he pulls out the old stand by, "The highest rated cable news show not on Fox News".
Brad I think you stumbled onto something. Olby is the number 1 (most nights) rated cable news show not on Fox News".
That makes him the voice of the liberals, he is their go to guy. And I bet a lot of them don't want to be part of that, if I or you were a liberal would we be proud to stand up and have that as our spokesperson?
So Keith at 8 is up 5%, so let's say he's pulling in 1.2 million at 8 (I know, just for the sake of argument). 5% would be 60k viewers. Bill-o still slaughters (there's that word) 3 to 1.
Then up 10% at 10? Again, for the sake of arguement he gets 400k at 10. That's 4ok more viewers. Greta is still slaughtering him 4 to 1.
Spin it anyway you want Keith, you are getting slaughtered by FNC.
And remember, you can't have slaughter without laughter!
And we are laughing at bath tub boy.
Brad, Olby did. He called out Gutfeild and Shultz by name.
And red eye did respond, I sure J$ still have it on you tube.
To the moonbats he did cater
Now Olbermahn's in a crater
He's done at nine
A ratings flat line
For the obsessive FoxNews hater
I remember that "bleep" segment with RedEye that Olbermann put up as WPITW. Then Gutfeld and co. roasted him. Since then he hasn't had the balls to go after the Red Eye crew has he?
That's what I was thinking because I know Red Eye would just destroy Olby in every way...that's why I said I never saw Olby go after them. Gutfield is very smart and has a very quick wit...I would love to see him and Olby get into it because Cankles wouldn't stand a chance. Then again, anyone with half a brain could give Olby a beat down...no offense, Greg.
If I remember, Olby called out red eye during WPITW. Stating that Shultz was a Fox News producer. Which shocked Bill Shultz. "Producers get more pay than me!"
KO belongs on red eye's time-slot on MSLSD - say 1 am to 2 am.. might actually get a bump in viewers... POS
Olbermann and Arianna know exactly what they are doing. They know what Glenn meant, they just don't care. As long as they get their progressive point of view across. I love it when Glenn sets them straight. He has history and facts on his side, something the progressives have no idea about. Glenn talks about the Obama administration on almost every show. While Olbermann and the other hacks talk about Fox News.
Remember when Bush was in office, he couldn't wipe his ass without the media reporting on it. At that time, they thought it was their duty to report on the president and his adminstration. So why is Glenn being attacked for reporting on President Obama and his staff? Well it's because Obama is the savior to the left. If you notice these days, the media attacks anyone who critics the president and his cronies and Olbermann is leading the charge.
MSNBC is done in the news business. Their ratings are low and is getting lower by the day. Hopefully, one day in the future the media will do their job and report the news with no bias. I know Fox has a lot of right leaning commentators and anchors but they don't spew out hate like the others on MSNBC, they don't personally attack their competition, or call the viewers of the other networks names like racists, paranoids, conspiracy theorists and tin hat wearers.
Shultz, Matthews, Olbermann, and Maddow the worst line-up on primetime on any network in the history of television.

What a dumbass...
http://dctrawler.dailycaller.com/2010/02/03/keith-olbermann-knows-how-to-treat-the-ladies/
And then, there's this from Jeff Bercovici. The title: "Hey Keith Olbermann, Have You Ever Really Read DailyFinance?" Only when it goes after Fox and its high-profile personalities. Then and only then does the slovenly political hack read DailyFinance "or FinanceDaily."
And that has happened before. In 2008, Jeff took Bill O'Reilly to task for saying that the "Seinfeld" series finale should have been a clip show, not realizing that "The Clip Show" episode preceded the lackluster the-main-cast-gets-what-they-deserve finale.
What Jeff wrote then was used by Rip 'n Read, as I documented at the time:
"After another Ted Baxter overdramatization, we got: 'A-hem! The two episodes of 'Seinfeld' before the two-part finale of 'Seinfeld' were in fact a clip show called...'The Clip Show'! Way to knock it out of the park, Slugger. Besides, I always thought Billo's [Ding!] favorite sitcom was 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' because...' Oh, no. Don't tell me he's going to refer to... "...of (Baxter voice): that great anchor guy!' Yes, he made the Ted Baxter comparison."
Olbypocrisy? You bet.
Screwed up the link. One more time: http://tinyurl.com/ygell62.
Well, if they finally fire Keith, maybe Andy Levy can replace him?

Got the special comment down.
Due to Nancys Grace - Maddow the Cunning Linguist Strapped On a firm 3rd position Behind Larry King....
Cooper caught reaching around Olbermann to fill in the number 2 hole....
^ Double entendres.
If or when Olbermann gets fired, what are we going to talk about on here? We know the only place that he has a job would be the Daily Kos. But they aren't going to pay him 9 million a year just to write for them.
We'll talk about nothing and cease operation, our mission complete.
John Gibson played some Olbyclips in Hour 1 of his show today.
It would be "Mission Accomplished".
I would take a vacation from work and literally drink for a week straight.
