Yet again the Olbermann Watch Research Division poured through the MSNBC online transcripts to see how much attention was paid to notable stories and issues over the past week. Here is what our keyword searches found:

Notes: References to Iraq do not include Olbermann's ritual closing mantra. Countdown did not air on Thursday. Crazy Larry substituted for Olbermann on Friday.
Get ready to recap another week of The Hour of Spin...comments are open!
gees!----if ubermoron could just find an excuse to mention sarah palin more- he'd prove what a responsible journalist he is! (not that he needs to with the fawning kosrats at his side!)
So it's a tag team tonight, Keith and Crazy Larry?
And we're going to get a update on Keith's dad? WOW! A whole 10 minutes on how those DAMN REPUBLICANS are killing your dad. Can't wait.
I at one time said that when Keith has to pay back Karma, it will be a debt so great, others will get hurt along with him. And for all the shit you put on people... Well, payback in a bitch!
I know it might be wrong, I just no longer give a shit.
Tonight, Crazy Larry filled in, but a pre-recorded Komment from Keith aired in #1. Life panels! [Ding!]
Keith, show some dignity. Quit dragging your father and entire family through the cesspool of media scrutiny. I've also lost my mother and father. I couldn't imagine going on national television (granted, a lowly rated cable show) airing what must be a personal, family matter. Using your sick father as a pawn in the national health care debate is despicable.
It's AGAINST THE LAW for a hospital to refuse treatment to ANYONE... including illegal aliens, regardless of their ability to pay. nuf sed.
Keith, shut the f*ck up.
anyone else notice the scott brown jacket keefe was wearing?--i guess hes just a regular guy now--so vote HCR in!
All I have to say is...WTF was that? Another pathetic rant about his Dad and healthcare. He needs to really quit, he's making himself look more and more like a fool and an idiot.
Meerkatpooh,
It's too late for Keith. He passed the sanity exit on the highway of life a very long time ago.
I am watching the replay right now, and I can't believe how angry Keith looks whenever Crazy Larry plugs his Special Komment tonight. It looks like they picked the clips where Olbermann is yelling at the monitor because his audience doesn't understand his superior intellect.
In addition, why the hell does Keith Olbermann have any more insight regarding dying family members than the rest of us? MSNBC is acting like this is a national tragedy when a guy IN HIS MID 50s has a dad who is dying. Assuming his parents were in their 20s when Bath Tub Boy was unleashed on this world, his dad is likely at the average life expectancy. If they were in their 30s, it means he likely has already exceeded the average life expectancy for men.
Why does MSNBC put up with this disaster? Why don't they just tell him to go away for a few weeks and collect himself? He treats America as an open ear for his nightly hour therapy session. It's always about Keith, this new bitch fest he is working on has nothing to do with his father, it's all about him saving face by propping Obama up.
Was Keith out on a ledge during his "Komment"?
What a $%%ing joke.
He seriously opens his comment up with "We had to make the decision of changing his care from restorative to palliative. But what we laid out is a little too personal to discuss in depth here"
Then the VERY NEXT LINE, he starts giving medical jargon about how is dad's white blood cell count was collapsing, along with a detailed retelling of how he had drugged his dad up so he couldn't respond during the meeting.
So what was too personal to discuss on national TV?
un-FUCKING-watchable.
So would you consider this a working day for Keith or a non-working day?
As it stands Keith worked 18 out of 20 days in January, not including holidays, and 18 out of 20 days in February.
My white blood cell count once went down to 0.3. Due to a bad medication. Whenever I tell doctors or nurses that, they are amazed that I'm still alive.
So I was slumming around the Kos sight when I came across a diary written about our raison d'etre and this line stuck out:
"I have a feeling "The Peaceable Mongoose" by James Thurber will start flying off shelves all over the country!"
Well let's see if this guy is right. At the moment James Thurber's Fable for Our Time is ranked 3,317 on amazon. Will Keith be able to give the book a bump?
I have a feeling that the diarist is hoping so because when conservative pundits mention a book there truely is a surge in people buying that book but when a liberal mentions one it falls on deaf ears. Also this plays into the mythos swirling around the progressive media and blogoshpere that they are so much superior to conservatives in brain power and are more well read. Let's see if the progressives media icon really has any real clout among his followers.

This was definitely a non-working day. I am pretty sure he filmed his comment from the hospital. In addition, it was clear he hadn't gone through makeup either, I swear he wears a toupee after watching his grey hair flop around. I think he also took it in one take, but his ability to formulate coherent points and sentences has always been garbage, so I'm not sure.
Also, I love his reasoning regarding the Texas Tea Party. He actually whined about how during their latest rally the past weekend, they didn't mention that Olbermann had declined their invite due to his sick father. With the way he calls them racists 10X a program, why the hell should they have to tell their members that Olbermann's father is sick. In addition, he claimed that their misrepresentation of Olbermann's rejection of the invitation somehow proves their racism. Apparently it is now racist for a political group to insult a white television host. How? Who the hell knows, I guess Edward R. Olbermann has declared himself a minority.
Watched his outdoor comment. Who in the hell, wants to hear "Thurber" on their freakin death bed? This isn't Oprah, you idiot. When I heard it I thought of that cartoon Rikki Tikki Tavvi. Haha
Oh, Keith....come here, closer, closer. DEATH PANELS YA JERK! They are IN there!
Ashes to ashes, funky to funky, we know Bathtub Boy's a junky.
I say this with all sincerity...Keith should not be on the air right now. And I'm sure NBC would give him all the time off he needs while his father is in the hospital. I thought about a similar situation that happened to me. I didn't want to talk to anybody but family and my very close friends. I still had to go to work and my co-workers knew my situation but I didn't discuss it with them.
Then I thought maybe it's therapeutic to discuss his father's health but that brought me back to keeping it in the family and your close inner circle of friends. It's like the people I see on the local news that just lost a family member or child to a fire or car accident. They are explaining everything to a news person they have never met before and spilling their guts for the whole world to see and I sit there saying to myself, "The last thing I would want to do is go on camera and tell the world about my loss to an audience of strangers."
I'll give him a pass talking about his father's health on the air because people cope in different ways but to tie it all into the HC debate is just despicable.
Let's check in on Keith's cultural influence, shall we?
Fables for Our Time on Monday was ranked 3,317
Fables for Our Time on Tuesday is ranked 4,812
Maybe this is why bath tub boy was standing on a rooftop ledge last night.....
"Countdown" was down from February of 2009. Olbermann was down -29% in total viewers (-43% demo).

Fables for Our Time on Monday was ranked 3,317
Fables for Our Time on Tuesday was ranked 4,812
Fables for Our Time on Wednesday is ranked 4,873
I guess the trend is pretty clear.
