The infamous, deplorable one thinks he is the next incarnation of Edward R Murrow. But we don't think the estimable Mr Murrow would lift alleged 'news stories' from wacked-out conspiracy websites and the present them on air. Yet that's exactly what Herr Olbermahn did on Monday's program, as he relentlessly hyped his breaking news: Sarah Palin's testimony at the email hacker trial just might be perjury. Oh, and in case you didn't get the idea, he repeated the word "perjury" over and over in hyping his breaking news. That is until his guest showed up to pour cold water all over Krazy Keith's latest scoop:

Uh oh. Guests aren't supposed to embarrass Oralmann in front of millions...well, make that thousands of viewers. Will he be permitted back on OlbyPlanet soon? Only time will tell. But poor Mr Weigel was swiftly turned on by the denizens of the wacky site Monkeymann lifted his 'news report' from. So what was this reliable source used by Edward R Olbermann? The subtly-titled (and substantially fictitious) Palingates. And while KO has gone to some odd wells in seeking the most unreliable 'news' available, this is the first time he's relied so heavily on a conspiratorial site this loony. One that claims Sarah Palin faked her pregnancies, and pores over grainy photographs as if they were the Zapruder film to expose the truth about the Trig pregnancy. Yes, Keith Olbermann's latest source for news is a Trig Truther site. What's coming next from the infamous, deplorable one? The real lowdown on who brought down the Twin Towers? Maybe an hour-long special with George Noory on the UFOs who are behind it all?
Who would have guessed that the once-esteemed news department of NBC would end up being humiliated by an incompetent sports guy masquerading as a 'journalist', lifting stories from crackpot websites and further dragging the Peacock reputation through the mud?
Discuss, resolve, and recap. Comments are open!
MKDAWUSS, if you're still around we'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
But we all know you don't have the balls to defend Olbermann when the sh*t hits the fan, just like MikeH used to.
So just keep ignoring us, it says all we need to know.
1. "allegedly hacked her e-mail"?
2. what the hell is state business?
3. Why do you keep beating on this woman? Besides the fact that you are impotent?
4. I'm suprised that the 'guest' wasn't asked off the air.
5. Look at Bath Tub boy stumble over himself when his 'facts' drop like a college cheerleader's panties.
6. She can blog if she wants to, fat ass, she doesn't need your apporval or permision to do so.
7. THIS IS FIVE MINUTES OF MY LIFE I'M NOT GETTING BACK!
First off, at least George Noory is more entertaining. I only say this because sometimes my work takes me deep into the night. Or is it the callers on George's show.
Does anybody remember last year when somebody that got fired from the NY Post and had a lawsuit for some kind of harrasment?
It was soo funny because Olby used every name in the book to accuse the Post and find them guilty in Olbyland's court of law. He didn't have her on, but had her 'Dime Store' lawyer on.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scGrj4KZTYU
Never heard another thing about that case.
Olby does point out something though, in what we could call a 'Teachable Moment'.
When your hatred towards someone becomes soo blinded. You end up doing really, really stupid things.
I love how Sarah Palin is dumbest woman in the world yet somehow she manages to fool the entire left wing media, and the DNC into thinking that she was pregnant.
This Obsession with Palin is demented. The left wing hate machine is now trying to find ways to imprison her because she writes messages on Face Book.
LOL wow. This is one of the best Olbermanwatch moments ever.

YOU LISTEN TO GEORGE NOORY? Check your listings for Phil Hendrie, live from 1am to 5am eastern. Funniest show on radio. Phil is a liberal, but he'll put liberals through hell too.
Weigel: "...this doesn't seem to be a problem for her".
Olby: "Alright, well...that's...that's...the correct answer is the answer we are looking for not one that might...just as a matter of theory please somebody who was involved in the show.
Weigel: "Ha Ha Ha"
Translation: Sarah Palin did not commit perjury, Keith, even though you falsely hyped it and lied about the felony charge the entire show. Keith was almost scolding Weigel for not giving him the answer he wanted. "Please somebody who was involved in the show"? You mean please YOU because you so badly wanted to believe the conspiracy theory you ripped off and used as a "reliable news source".
But wait...it gets better:
Olby: "Does it...does it...does it...make any difference about about this...this..industry she has created for herself..."
Weigel: "I wouldn't be surprise if this doesn't show up on her Facebook feed at some point if she doesn't accuse people like...people of attacking her based on a blog post."
Translation: Keith quickly changes the subject once he does not receive the answer he wants or was expecting.
But did you hear how Weigel ALMOST said "doesn't accuse people like YOU of attacking her based on a blog post." That would have been the correct statement.
Olby will scour the craziest, looniest websites on the internet for any smear (true or not) about Sarah Palin. His misogyny and Olbsession knows no boundaries.
NBC must be so proud of this so-called "journalist" and "human being".
#5A: The return of the esteemed open border Fox hater/dodger Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ).
#5B: Geno the Race Baiter Robinson.
#4: Progressive Sen. Ted Kaufmann (D-DE) on financial reform.
#3: Video title: "Putting the racism [Ding!] question to rest" with the Wolffe Man.
Tea Time: Video title: "Paper misidentifies politician." The nerve of that paper linking a Republican congressional candidate with the Tea Party. That's my sarcasm, not a summary of what Baggermann said.
#2: The Media Matters Minute. Worser was Glenn Beck. Lonesome Roads! [Ding!]
#1: Olby and the Perfesser surprisingly talking about some iPhone legal case.
Aloha means goodbye.
I meant Rhodes, not Roads.
Sorry, no abstract tonight. Got into NCIS and then Law and Order:CI. Sometimes, I just gotta have my stories. Can't be all politics. Get back on the horse tomorrow.
I have noticed until tonight recently, he hasn't handed it over to Maddow, like he use to do. But tonight's show was like all the others, a trainwreck.

I do sometimes, he use to be on locally. Now it depends where I might be doing a job. Phil is good because he nails both sides.
Sometimes Jerry Doyle on a delay.
That New guy Doug McIntyre that they are pushing across the airwaves really sucks so far.

Anyway, back to the OP - since when did "corrections" become "public embarrassments?"
Nowhere did I see Keith Olbermann get hammered in that segment. I know, you all dig as deep as you can for something on him.
Also, this proves that facts supersede a good a story on Countdown.
A good story, and Countdown can't really be used in the same sentence. What makes an incredulous accusation about someone who he clearly is out to get, with no evidence whatsoever, a good story?
Nobody has to do any digging to find something on Olbermann. Any intelligent person watching his show that knows anything about politics will clearly agree that Olbermann is biased and unreasonable. And speaking of ratings, have you seen Olbermann's numbers lately? Who cares about Glenn Beck, go talk about him at the KOS...
Guess who'll be on "Red Eye" tonight. That's right: David Weigel. What a turnaround.
#1 had a more serious tone than I thought. Via the opening spiel: "And Jonathan Turley on the big next legal question: are bloggers journalists or can police raid their homes because one bought and wrote about a prototype iPhone that some idiot at Apple lost at a bar?"
I'm sure by bloggers, Keith means those at Kos, HuffPo, Media Matters, Think Propaganda, Crooks & Liars, Raw Story, and Newsliars, to name a handful. I'm sure he thinks they're laudable heroes that deserve medals and statues in their honor.
The Fox-bashing portion of #5A:
OLBERMANN: "Last question and you couldn't know about this because it's been happening while you've been standing there. But as we've been speaking, surprisingly enough, you've been attacked on FOX News Channel as a congressman who's hurting his own constituents by hurting his own businesses." Laura Ingraham went after Grijalva, among others, in the fill-in Talking Points Memo. Once again, Olbermahn has one eye and ear on the show and one eye and ear on the eeevil Fox. "That's a summary of it, but Lord knows what they said in particular. But I'm wondering if you wanted to address that while the camera is here."
GRIJALVA: "Yes. The biggest hurt I can do for the citizens of Arizona and the people I represent and for the people that will be profiled by this law is to keep quiet. And by bringing attention to and nationalizing the issue in Arizona, I'm doing the people of Arizona a favor, so we can get out from under this horrible shadow that extremists have put us in in Arizona."
OLBERMANN: "Well said, sir. Arizona Congressman Raul Grijalva, as always, thanks again for your time. We'll talk to you again on this."
GRIJALVA: "Thank you."
Choir-preaching complete.
In WPitW, would you believe Worse was Hugo Chavez? Yes, somehow true evil made this segment. But not for long. Worser was the Beckmeister.
"The runner-up, Lonesome Rhodes Beck. Why are the ratings down? Maybe this beaut [Ding!] about presidential spending will explain: (soft-spoken crazy voice): 'what has Obama done that is different? I think he's done exactly what George Bush was doing, except to the times of a thousand. I mean, we're talking about a progressive. And George Bush was a progressive.'
George Bush was a progressive? George Bush, George Bush? OK, now I've got to defend George Bush from Glenn Beck?"
Context. Glenn was talking about spending. What am I saying? Herr Olbermann wouldn't know context from a condo.
There was a handoff to Rachel last night.
From NewsBusters, even Larry King loves Bathtub Boy. Sir Michael Moore was on Larry's show last night and Merkle came up:
LARRY KING, HOST: Right now, a historic moment in LARRY KING LIVE's 25-year history, another historic moment. We've had so many. And there will be many more. Michael Moore is about to call the winner of the "Find The Penalty" contest.
MICHAEL MOORE: That's correct. And another historic moment here. This is a contest that started last week on Keith Olbermann's show (with Crazy Larry filling in), but finishes here on LARRY KING.
KING: You have upgraded it.
MOORE: Yes.
KING: ***I love Keith***. Go ahead.
MOORE: You guys are both great.
After the above transcript, Noel Sheppard wrote: "Honestly: what does it say about a so-called journalist that loves one of the most hateful, divisive, hyper-partisan individuals to ever have his own television program? Yet King admits his adoration to a national audience with pride. Liberal media bias? WHAT liberal media bias?"
Here is the BillOReilly.com summary of what Olby, quote [Ding!], summarized:
**"Congressman Raul Grijalva, a Democrat who represents Tucson, has announced a boycott of his own state because he opposes Arizona's new immigration bill. This is quite possibly the most bone-headed way for a Congressman to represent his district that I have ever heard of. It's worth pointing out that Congressman Grijalva has a long history in the radical open-borders movement and has never met an immigration enforcement law that he actually supports. And our favorite sanctuary city, San Francisco, might lend the boycotters support by joining the effort. The city attorney proposes that San Francisco terminate its contracts with Arizona businesses immediately. The proposed boycott of Arizona is a cheap publicity stunt, not to mention illogical and counter-productive. And those of us who support Arizona's crackdown on illegal immigration should encourage our own states to adopt similar measures. If states can't help enforce the very immigration laws that Congress has passed, then the concept of national sovereignty and the rule of law are totally meaningless."
Laura explored the boycott proposal with immigration advocate Alfonso Aguilar and Republican Congressman Steve King. "It looks like Congressman Grijalva is trying to scare businesses out of Arizona," King said. "He's advocating for Mexico rather than the United States and against the rule of law, which is one of the central pillars of American exceptionalism. The Arizona law conforms to federal law." But Aguilar denounced the legislation as racially biased. "This discriminates against Latinos by allowing police to stop anyone who looks like an undocumented immigrant and it hinders law enforcement efforts - officials should be focusing on criminals and drug traffickers, not on undocumented immigrants. Arizona is in this situation because President Obama has not shown leadership - he said he was going to deal with immigration the first year of his administration and he hasn't." Laura contended that the Arizona law is eminently fair. "It is very clear and specific about what is allowed. You must have a reasonable suspicion, not based solely on race, that the person is in the country illegally."**
So, does Olby's summary match up with what really happened?
Oh, and in #4, Oralmann rebelliously played clips of Sens. Carl Levin and Claire McCaskill uttering the s-word at the hearing for Goldman Sachs. The words were bleeped out in the opening spiel, but seconds later, Monkeymann teased: "The amazing quotes and we will not bleep them again." The excuse to uncensor was they were in a Goldman Sachs e-mail and a Goldman Sachs guy was being questioned on the content of said e-mail. The term was "sh***y deal." And that was a big f-ing deal on OlbyPlanet:
"Senator [Carl] Levin was questioning the former head of Goldman‘s mortgage department, Daniel Sparks. And another warning: there is a common place but offensive word. It is being quoted from a Goldman Sachs internal e-mail. It is repeated several times within this portion of the hearing. We are not bleeping it out. [Levin clip shown.] The answers from Goldman executives at that hearing could best be summed up as laborious and evasive. Though one did concede that it was unfortunate that emails like the one described by Senator Levin and other potentially incriminating emails have been disseminated. Senator Claire McCaskill brought it home while connecting the dots—the offensive word again is referenced. [McCaskill clip shown.]"
Everywhere else, the wordy was bleepyed out, but not on OlbyPlanet. What do you expect from a guy that likes to lob g-d grenades in his Komments?
Uhhh....MK. First off, who cares about Glenn Beck's ratings?
Second off, why do you bring up ratings when you are a fan of Olbermann? Makes no sense. Glenn Beck still gets much better ratings than Keith, in a worse time slot. Seems counter productive on your part, but whatever.
Finally. How was he embarrassed? He hyped up charges of Sarah Palin possibly perjuring herself, and then was shut down by his guest.
""Also, this proves that facts supersede a good a story on Countdown.""
But there weren't any facts to say that Palin perjured herself. It shouldn't have been a story in the first place.
I also have to throw out another completely unjustified claim that Olby tossed around two nights ago. Much like the Palin perjury claim, he teased a segment that MLB was going to take the 2011 All-Star game away from Arizona as punishment for the law. When he finally got to the segment, he brushed off the fact that MLB has had absolutely zero talks about it by saying something along the line of
"MLB hasn't commented publicly about moving the game YET...."
Hey MK, notice how Olbermann was obviously asserting that MLB was thinking about moving the game, but in reality, the only person who has even mentioned such a thing was Olbermann plugging the 100% bogus story? This man makes a claim which he thinks should be reality, pretends that the claim is a fact, then uses it as a teaser for a huge story which doesn't exist. Do you know why MLB hasn't commented on this subject yet? BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF MOVING THE GAME. This would be like somebody saying "Glenn Beck hasn't responded to the claim that he is a serial killer" as proof that Glenn Beck actually is a serial killer. I mentioned this a few days ago, but it's the same faulty logic that the 9/11 trooth fools use as evidence that Bush brought down the towers.
Doing a google search to see if MLB was actually thinking about moving the game, here are the sites that are pretending it's a real story
1)Daily KOS
2) Change.org
3) Mediaite
4) Democratunderground
Notice the common connection here? Olbermann clearly pulled the claim from editorial pieces on these liberal blogs, then attempted to say there was a real possibility MLB was considering the option. Not a single story from a real reporter from a real news agency, just a liberal fantasy passed off as reality by the few remaining Olby loons. Being a failed Sportscaster, Edward R. Olbermann probably thought that nobody would call him out on this due to it being related to baseball, but it's obvious he has been caught yet again passing off liberal editorials as real news. Ladies and gentleman, the new Murrow!
One follow-up: Weigel did not appear on "Red Eye" Wednesday night. However, Isaiah Mustafa did.
