Great thanks to our friends at Broliath for this glimpse into the mindset of the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann and his pals at A-Mess-NBC:
Discuss, resolve, and then prepare for another week of Edward R Olbermann. For additional pre-show prep, check out the Daily Caller's Olby week in review. Plus you might get some hints about tonight's Hour of Spin from Monkeymann's shiny new twitter account (if you can stomach reading the most egregiously self-absorbed tweeter in the known 'verse). Comments are open!
Did anyone ever post this?

And you also missed Keith-O listing the roster of black reporters and anchors at NBCU.
You sir, FAIL.

Hmmmm. Notice how you say, NBCU and not MSNBC. Odd. I'm sure there are planty of african american reporters when you take the whole NBC kingdom but why, pray tell, do you think you score a point by saying this, ignoring the obvious fact that there are dismally few african american reporters or correspondants on MSNBC (the specific affiliate Olbermann works for, under the NBC umbrella) and, most importantly, the affiliate that took the criticism,
You SIR, are an unqualified success..at being a disingenuous douchebag, SIR, and heretofore I will say to you, SIR, in the words of Oliver Cromwell, "You have been sat to long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of god, go!.” SIR! Good night and Goodluck. It is now almost one full day since MKDAWUSS attempted to argue with the adults by throwing useless Non Sequiturs.
Norah, YOU IGNORANT SLUT!!!! ($1 to Dan Aykroyd)
MKDAWUSS: "You sir, FAIL."
Oh the irony! Hilarious!
WPITW Abstract.
Bronze: John Derbishire: For making some stupid remarks. Of course, it means all republicans are racists.
Silver: BECK-O : for Beck defending the Tea Parties, when Obama and Congress is calling Tea Party members racists.
Chicken and Waffles.
Gold: Carl Palendino: A TEA PARTY CANDIDATE! For porn and racists comments on his e-mail. So since he's not a 'republican' and a 'independent' therefor he's a 'tea party candidate'?
Internet memes (FTW, FAIL, own, pwn) diminish dialogue.
Most of tonight's guests were Olby-approved hacks.
#5A: The Nuclear Summit. Steve Clemons kicked it around.
#5B: More on #5A with NBC Presidential Historian Michael Beschloss. Not a hack.
#4: The nominees to replace Stevens. Ezra Klein was the hack guest.
Oddball: Pass.
#3: Video title: "GOP stands divided." Yippee! David Weigel, a recently-added hack, reveled.
Kwik Komment: Playing the race card with Gov. Haley Barbour (R-MS).
#2: Lonesome Olbs' nightly Media Matters Minute.
#1: Conan goes to TBS, which means he isn't going to FOX!!! Why else would this come up on the Hour of Spin? Bill Carter, who broke the story in the NYT, was the guest.

Then why was there a clip from Sunday Night Football, a program that is on NBC rather than MSNBC?
Is FOX News just as racially balanced? What about talk radio? Let's have standards instead of double-standards.
MKDAWUSS, the thesis of the video is: "White liberals often project their own assumptions about race onto people who disagree with them". The video is not solely about MSNBC's anchors. The SNF clip was to show Olbermann's racism. If I were you (a KO defender), I would not even have brought it up.
And Olbermann is the one with the double-standards. HE is the one who claims that an all white group equals a racist group. We're all just pointing out the hypocrisy.
I am starting to wonder if you have given up and are just posting non sequiturs but then I realized there's nothing funny in your posts.
The reason for the Sunday Night Football quote is to show that liberals project there own racism on to others they disagree with. Here you had Olbermann, bastion of liberal morality, mocking a black athelete using what most people would consider a racist phrase. I know you would prefer to pretend it doesn't exist but it is necessary for you to confront that Olbermann is indeed everything he accuses others of being.
As for the Fox news attack, please double check the name of this website, it's Olbermannwatch, not news hounds, crooks and liars or whatever other hackneyed site the progressives are poo-pooing on these days. If the only defense of Olbermann that you have is that Fox news is just as bad then you by definition lose. Either keep your arguments relevant to the topic at hand or admit the veracity of the claim laid forth in this topic.
What was racist about the SNF clip? Isn't there a restaurant called "Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles?"

So you're certifying the double-standard you place on Keith-O (and NBCU) and FOX News?
It looks like you're all just trying to do a hit job on Keith-O and NBCU similar to how the SCLM is doing on the RCC.
I'd say you're doing the hit job on us by trolling this site.
Hey MK
You proved my hypothesis correct by only reappearing once a new thread was posted. Now, since you such an adamant defender of Keith, can I get you to go back into the thread from the end of last week and specifically answer several of the challenges that we proposed to you?
Nah, you probably won't be doing that. But it's nice to think you might have been something else other than a obnoxious troll and thread hijacker over the last few months. You can still prove us wrong, but it's becoming rather clear you have no intention of actually responding to any of the questions we ask you.
Going back to Olbermann, I clicked on his twitter account and the first post I saw was him bragging about some Monty Python sketch he thought was funny. Needless to say, it appears that his twitter account will just be a extension of his annoying habits during Meltdown. I am setting the over under at 48 days for him to reference the SNL skit about him. He already has referenced his guest appearance on the Simpsons. I thank God daily that the Simpsons producers weren't obnoxious enough to have him on as a guest when the show was relevant. That would have really spoiled how great the show was up until the late 1990s.
Finally, I am confident that he is going to say something on his Twitter account similar to Schuster's attack on O'Keefe that gets him in trouble. In a way, his twitter account might actually speed up his dismissal from MSNBC. Keep it up Olbermann, you are doing great!
That should be 48 HOURS in my above post. He will obviously tweet about it within the next 48 days.
MKDAWUSS: "What was racist about the SNF clip?"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKWVR-xcvtM
Try to pay attention till the end at the very least.
"So you're certifying the double-standard you place on Keith-O (and NBCU) and FOX News?"
Clearly that is not what he meant. Your reading comprehension skills (among other things) leave something to be desired...particularly since I've already said that the purpose of pointing out that there are nothing but white faces at MSNBC is to reveal Olbermann's hypocrisy. We're using his own criterion for racism against him.
What's racist about a pick-up truck?
What's racist about calling someone a socialist?
What's racist about pointing out Obama was raised by his mother?
What's racist about claiming their are death panels in the health care bill?
What's racist about saying taxes are to high?
What's racist about saying the budget defecit is to high?
What's racist about supporting the 2nd amendment?
What's racist about supporting the 10th amendment?
What's racist about disagreeing with any of Obama's policies?
Every single one of these "racist" claims have been made by Olbermann. However when he sees a black athelete running down the field and comments that he is after chicken and waffles that is not a stereotype? How can you possibly reconcile these facts in your head?
SCLM = So-called liberal media I assume? This isn't Kos, try to use real words.
But no, this isn't a "hit job" on Olbermann. This is a website full of proven lies told by the prime-time host of a major cable news network. Don't you realize how important a free and accurate press is to the very concept of American freedom? Once the people lose control of an honest and open press the country is not to far behind. This site is here just to point out how one show on one network is completly distorting the truth in America. When you have a journalist so deep in the pocket of a presidential administration and a veiwer base (no matter how small as in the case of Olbermann) who watches and eats it up it is very disturbing.
If you have not read Animal Farm I suggest you pick it up. Read it and then see the parallels between Olbermann's audience and the sheep in the book. The point here is that it does not take a vast number of people to drown out all opposing views, it just takes a handfull of very loud, very ignorant people who can be easily duped into bleating mantras rather then critical thought.
lol. This is hilarious.
People are accusing Keith Olbermann of a double standard. MK misunderstands what point is being made, and starts accusing everyone of a double standard.
"""What was racist about the SNF clip? Isn't there a restaurant called "Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles?""" -MK
Yeah. There is a restaurant called that. But referencing it sort of plays into a stereotype, and comes off as being in poor taste.
It's like if a Mexican guy did something in some sport, and the call was "yummy yummy taco bell".
Now. I think it's in a bit of poor taste, and am willing to give Keith Olbermann the benefit of the doubt that he didn't mean anything by it. The question is, would Keith give a conservative that benefit?
Next thing ya know some has-been national news reader will make some comments on a MessNBC show about "State Troopers and Selling Watermelons"...What!?!...Really!?!...Ohhhh....Nevermind!
When Olbermann plays the race card
Sane people start laughing quite hard
At the hypocrisy
The irony
And the factual disregard
"Yeah. There is a restaurant called that. But referencing it sort of plays into a stereotype, and comes off as being in poor taste."
And if he were a white guy named Roscoe, could the same reference still be made? That verbal flourish wasn't because Roscoe Parrish is black, but because his name is Roscoe.

MSNBC is... FOX News? And OlbermannWatch.com is Media Matters? Am I getting this right? ... and-and-and I'm really a Tea Party Activist?
Now if you wanna' talk about hijacked movement, take a look at the Tea Party.
What's racist about a pick-up truck?
What's racist about calling someone a socialist?
What's racist about pointing out Obama was raised by his mother?
What's racist about claiming their are death panels in the health care bill?

Nothing. Also, when did Keith say that that was racist? You do understand that some of Keith's audience drives pick-up trucks, think taxes are too high, own a gun, and disagreed with some of Obama's policies.
Why is it that Republicans/Conservatives are so eager to jump on the race card, often doing so just as easy/often as Democrats? ... and you all wonder why racism will never go away...
MCDAWUSS, in the game of racial grievence it doesn't matter what the person talking meant, rather it matters what the listener heard. You know where I learned that from? From Melissa Harris-Lacewell on Keith Olbermann's own show.
MCDAWUSS said:
"MSNBC is... FOX News? And OlbermannWatch.com is Media Matters? Am I getting this right? ... and-and-and I'm really a Tea Party Activist?"
What does that have to do with what I said? I have no problems with other sites keeping other journalists honest but this is a site primarily dedicated to Keith Olbermann of MSNBC. Also what's with constantly trying to tie MSNBC and Fox together? What are you trying to accomplish?
MCDAWUSS asked:
"Also, when did Keith say that that was racist?"
February 15, 2010 for a start, or did you miss his special komment where he accused anyone and everyone a racist who opposes anything and everything that the progressives are now doing? After that every day that he has been on the air since the current president's approval numbers have started to fall.
MCDAWUSS said:
"You do understand that some of Keith's audience drives pick-up trucks, think taxes are too high, own a gun, and disagreed with some of Obama's policies."
Exactly, that's why Olbermannwatch exists.
MCDAWUSS:
"Why is it that Republicans/Conservatives are so eager to jump on the race card, often doing so just as easy/often as Democrats?"
What conservative pundit has claimed that Michael Steele is being attacked because he is black? How many times have Condolezza Rice, Clarence Thomas and Colin Powell been called house slaves, uncle toms or aunt jemimas? Conservatives do not claim "racism" as often and easily as liberals. If I am wrong then post some examples where a conservative in the last year has accused his or her critics of being racist.
Not to change the subject, but has anyone noticed how much bathtub boy has been tweeting? One would think he's been on long before under an alt, and just made the switch. I mean he's got photos up, the whole nine yards. I smell walrus and his name is Olbermann.
MKDAWUSS: "Why is it that Republicans/Conservatives are so eager to jump on the race card, often doing so just as easy/often as Democrats?"
You only think that because you have no concept of SATIRE.
You consistently fail to understand that, on this site, when people point out racism, they are more often than not ACTUALLY pointing out HYPOCRISY.
MKDAWUSS: "and you all wonder why racism will never go away..."
GET. A. CLUE.
From Chris "I forgot he was black for an hour" Matthews to this:
FINEMAN: Maybe not in Massachusetts, but maybe in some places, there are codes, there are images, ah, you know, there are pickup trucks, uh, you could say there was a racial aspect to it one way or another.
OLBERMANN: What were the Scott Brown ads, though? Every one of the Scott Brown ads had him in a pickup truck.
FINEMAN: That’s why I mentioned pickup trucks.
To this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eP6G410Z8Y
The left (particularly MSNBC) are OBSESSED with race and will bend over backwards to accuse their opponents of racism. It is the LEFT that are overwhelmingly disrupting race relations.
You seriously need to get a grip on reality.
Based on the transcript, not only was the point of #1 to say "ha-ha, Fox didn't get Conan." It was also, apparently, to mock Conan, mock TBS, and mock Frank Caliendo, who just happens to be part of Fox's NFL pregame show.
I made the video to demonstrate how liberals can be accused of the same thing that they demonize others for. I don't think they are racist, I think it's just creepy and ironic that the progress police only hires white people.
"""And if he were a white guy named Roscoe, could the same reference still be made?""" -MK
If he were a white guy, there would not be a racial connotation to the reference.
""That verbal flourish wasn't because Roscoe Parrish is black, but because his name is Roscoe."" -MK
Right. But it came off as racist due to Parrish being black. Like I said. If a Mexican guy's last name was "Bell" and you referenced taco bell, it'd raise a few eyebrows.
But I'm not saying Olbermann is a racist based on that. But if a conservative made a similar "verbal flourish", Olbermann would blow a gasket.
