So how's that twitter thing working out for Olby? Not so well. A tweeter had some unkind words for the infamous, deplorable one, but what really seemed to set him off was a new hashtag that has appeared. (Hashtags are used to mark tweets with a key word, like #glennbeck, so interested folks can see all the tweets on that subject.) When one @robsolo mentioned Edward R Olbermann in a tweet, he included that new hashtag we mentioned: #bathtubboy. That so got Oralmann's panties in a bunch that not only did he send off a snarky insult to @robsolo, he also blocked the guy (noting it with the #Beeseeing you tag) from following OlbyTweets! Plus it seems like @robsolo is not the only one Mr Courageous is blocking...
Such fun. Discuss, resolve, and recap tonight's Hour of Spin. Comments are open!
I thought he dumped his Twitter account after he accused someone of making a fake account under his name.
MKDAWUSS, perhaps you could tell us what happened. Maybe you could also explain why the champion of the Progressive movement is derailing free speech.
As I was saying in the other topic, it appears that bath tub boy has really been going at it on twitter. Of course he can't hide now, cause he was opening telling people he was at the Yankee game today. For those who called him out on the bath tub thing, good for you. For HE is the idiot, not Sarah Palin.
Here's a fun game, see how many people both you and Olby follow on twitter. Going through his list now, and I'll put my over under at 3 people.
And the grand total of the 113 Bathtubboy follows and the 205 people I follow, we have ONE in common. @joelmchale.
I see Twitter is also a place where dissent toward Keithy and his ridiculous views are not tolerated. If Keithy's detractors employ the rainwater method when voicing their views of this punk on his twitter the facts won't be able to be drown out by Olbycensorship.
WPitW featured an O'Reilly Attack. The Olbsession was Worse ("the bronze"). Why? The ambush of Fmr. VP Al Gore. In the process of being ambushed, Mr. Gore said "I don't like ambush journalism." That led Edward R. Olbermann to snark that he was "incorrect" because Bill doesn't practice journalism...or something. In short, he showed the ambush to take shots at Bill, "The Factor," and Jesse Watters, who is married to a fashion reporter, Keith. Jealous?
Besides, it was an example of Olbypocrisy: a man that doesn't practice journalism claims someone that does practice journalism doesn't practice it. The pot called the kettle African-American.
Wait, Keith is blocking people from his Twitter account?
So, this tweet he made yesterday is a lie?:
# @ReasonVsFear nope no blocking here!

I'm so shocked!
Seriously, all KO does on Twitter is spout inanities and insult people. It's embarrassing. Roger Ebert level childishness at play. It's like the common sense switch in KO's head was switched to "off" at the factory and no one bothered to flip it. So sad.
Just look at the volume he posts there. Does he reply to everyone who leaves a message to him? I swear, it's as if his day consists of doing his show for an hour (letting his hapless minions do the real work) and spending the rest of his (non-stalking) time on the computer posting crap at Kos and Twitter. Loser.
Wow. Wanna have some laughs? Check out the Twitter feeds of some of the people following KO. Most of these people are certifiable morons.
Take this guy, for example: JohnnyACE562
He has an orgasim when KO responds to one of his many ravings.
He rants about ratings being meaningless because KO has more followers than the O'Reilly Factor (probably because the Factor Twitter is just a corporate news feed, while KO is actually him, and half his followers are probably people who hate him)
Then he goes off on this guy named Olbydouche, making fun of the idea that the person devoted his name to a person he hates. And he pokes fun at him for having 1 follower compared to KO's 30,000, so KO must obviously be better. (Clearly this fool doesn't realize Olbydouche is an account someone set up specifically to make fun of KO).
This guy also seems to enjoy sending Tweets to Glenn Beck about how Glenn's wife is only after the money and how he can satisfy her more.
This is the mindset of viewer KO wants to attract? And he thinks the Tea Party is bad?
Oy.
Didn't Edward R. Olbermann specifically criticize Bill Simmons about how many worthless things he supposedly sent over twitter, his blog, and social networking sites? I'm not going to waste my time counting the number of tweets Olby has posted since he started on April 8, but it has to be around the 200-300 range. And most of them aren't actual updates about what he is doing, they are attacking other people on twitter. It's good to know his rotten soul can't stop attacking people no matter what the context is. Who cares how big of a scum bag Olbermann is? He can just ban those people and hurl insults right back at them! MSNBC, the PLACE for POLITICS.
I swear, this guy reminds me of a 12 year old middle school kid who first finds out how "cool" facebook is. Except most of those people realize after a week that nobody gives a damn and their narcisism takes a substantial hit. Why do I believe that Olbermann will be keeping up this twitter pace for a long time? Professionalism be damned, he has to let everybody know how he is the king of the intellectual universe!
It's almost as bad as the textbook projection taking place among the libs at the Media Matters comment sections.
Krazy Keith is now on Twitter
Where he'll spew things vile and bitter
To his drooling masses
Won't see his cool glasses
And Gibson can't call him a "quitter"
Some KO worshipper posted how what Gibson said about the myriad of bathtub incidents is a lie because he's mad MSNBC fired him. I don't have twitter because I think it's dumber than Countdown to no ratings and MSNBC combined. However, someone should point out that Gibson wrote a whole chapter about this sexual deviant in his book. If the bathtub boy story was an out and out lie little Queefy would have sued his ass for slander and libel. I'm sure Gibson is just so upset he got fired from MSNBC. He had a top ten show on Fox for years #1 in his timeslot and has had a radio show for years on "Fox Noise Radio". Meanwhile in the cable news game, Keith is the very definition of an inconsequential alsoran lucky to finish in the top 20. 7 years of futility should be enough for Countdown. Due do low ratings he has forfeited his right to be on the air, he should resign. Hopefully Comcast will quote Oliver Cromwell to him soon.
Olbermann himself wrote that tweet calling Gibson a liar. He was responding to the people who kept calling him #bathtubboy
I don't do that Twitter thing either. It seems like a giant waste of time. If Olby is tweeting at the pace you guys state then it is only a matter of time before he says something that gets him suspended, i.e. David Shuster.
So I say to Olby....Tweet on!
NewsBusters: Olbermann [in WPitW]: Virginia's GOP AG Should Stop Breathing Until 2014.
Brad Wilmouth writes: "On Tuesday's Countdown show, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann used his regular Worst Person segment to attack Virginia's Republican Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli, for planning to take part in a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency on the issue of climate change. Responding to a joke Cuccinelli made about holding one's breath to make environmentalists happy, Olbermann mocked the Republican attorney general in what could arguably be a suggestion that he should die, as the MSNBC host recommended that Cuccinelli should stop breathing until 2014. Olbermann: 'Good idea, Mr. Cuccinelli. we'll let you know when you should stop holding your breath. I would think sometime in 2014.'"
This was right after Olbypocritically claiming his Olbsession "does not practice any kind of journalism."
Incidentally, minutes after the O'Reilly Attack, this e-mail was read on "The Factor":
Rudy Mettia, Los Angeles, CA: "I'm no Al Gore fan but I do respect the office of Vice President. I wasn't crazy about the ambush by Jesse Watters."
Bill's response: "You know, you have a point, Rudy. Here's why we did it: Mr. Gore has taken shots at Fox News and avoided us for more than a decade. He is profiting big time from global warming, as you know, and remains in the public arena. I have some questions for him. So, Jesse was dispatched. We might be wrong on this, but that's why it happened."
