We know the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann has a peculiar relationship with our canine friends. For example there was that night when Olby had to leave a woman's apartment because he was convinced her dog was talking to him. OlbyPlanet is a place where dogs may talk, but don't bark. And the dog that didn't bark last night was predicted right on these pages by brad90956:
His name is Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat and Connecticut's Attorney General who is running for the US Senate. He claimed he served in Vietnam but obtained at least five military deferments from 1965 to 1970 and took repeated steps that enabled him to avoid going to war. In at least eight newspaper articles published in Connecticut from 2003 to 2009, he is described as having served in Vietnam. Will this candidate make the WPITW list or will Olby refuse to cover the story? I think we all know the answer to that question. Instead, Olby will dedicate the segment to Sarah Palin, Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck and Fox News. What a "journalist".
Sure enough, while Blumenthal was headline news everywhere else, his name never even came up on The Hour of Spin. Another Dog That Did Not Bark. What stories will prove to be tonight's quiescent canines? Here's our sneak peak of what Oralmann has in store:
Hmm. GE benefits from green energy programs, will make a bundle on Cap & Trade. Is pushing this agenda some sort of Conflict of Interest for A-Mess-NBC? What, how dare you impugn the ethics of Edward R Olbermann?!? For that crime you are sentenced to having to recap Monkeymann's sixty minutes of chicanery. Comments are open!
And are you suggesting those stories aren't important? How many "important stories" has Bill-O omitted/avoided? The Chalkboard? Hannity?
I'm really busy these days so I don't know if this is news or not. I was in the airport Monday afternoon and of course the tv was on CNN, and what do I see?
Rick Sanchez with Candy Crowley..........and Craig Crawford?????
Yikes!!!!!!!!!! Oh my! Olbermann's brain on CNN?
BTW: Folks I have it figured out how Comcast is going to say Bye-Bye to Olby. Olby makes BOR money right now, right? So when it comes time for Contract talks Olby is going to want more money.
Comcast comes back with, "but you don't put up BOR numbers Keith". So unless Tub-Tub takes a pay cut.........
"BTW: Folks I have it figured out how Comcast is going to say Bye-Bye to Olby. Olby makes BOR money right now, right? So when it comes time for Contract talks Olby is going to want more money.

Sunday Night Football.
Leave us alone.
MKDAWUSS,
I don't watch Football Night in America because of Olbermann. And even without olby, it's still the worst of the football shows. I get more scores and insight from 20 minutes of Fox's 'The OT' than I do from 80 minutes of FNiA.
Puck, Olby won't take a pay cut. His ego won't allow it. (sarcasm) After all, he brings in $100 million a year to NBC (/sarcasm)
OK - so let me get this straight: it's OK for everyone to boycott and ban AZ, but let AZ boycott a service and all hell breaks loose? Maybe I missed something...
That's not your momma trying to make a living, it's TEE TIME!: Another Tea Party is racist rant. About putting a mosque near Ground Zero, which is tasteless. Then something about a student attacking the tea party, olby joins in. Something about Discent.
Like Kentucky republicans who are going to be shocked when they find out how left their new boy wonder, Rand Paul is, it's the WORST PERSONS ABSTRACT!
Bronze: Sister Sarah: and a Hannity Bash about the Penn. seat held by Murtha.
Silver: Sue Louden: Another Chicken attack. WHO FUCKING CARES!!!! Olby does. I don't
GOLD: Phil Hammons, by jokingly killing president to teach geometry. IT'S NOT A JOKE TO KILL A PRESIDENT! For once, I agree with Olby. In a related story, HELL FREEZES OVER!
Rand Paul on Maddow? SHIT! I hate to tell my fellow Kentuckians "I told you so".... BUT I TOLD YOU SO!! The guy is as left as they come, he was never a true conservative, Jack Conway will destroy him.
The ego-driven philosophy of close-minded Liberal arrogance dictates that not only are they morally superior in being right about everything, but to simply question a hole in their viewpoint is a personal attack. They cannot understand why anyone would oppose their clearly correct positions, and thus anyone who defends themselves from their attacks must be in the wrong for standing up for themselves. Only complete assimilation to the Liberal cause will be accepted. Opposing viewpoints, even when it is merely throwing Liberal lack of logic back at them, will not be tolerated (since it is rarely understood that is what is actually happening). For Liberals, it's not enough for their opponents to admit defeat. They must admit they were wrong to ever oppose them to begin with.
In other words
Liberal Logic = Boycott service that is bad
Counter Boycott = Bad because the thing being boycotted originally was bad, but the target of the new boycott is good. Thus there's no reason to boycott it, so the new boycott must be a result of racism.
Okay, so what does Sunday Night Football have to do with the price of eggs?
Okay, let me clue you in there MKDAWUSS. If you watched SNF (which I doubt) Olby was a basic score reader, didn't offer much else. In fact if you did watch SNF you saw Patrick talk with Dungy & ( the name of the other person escapes me) while turning his back completely to Olbermann. Strange, isn't it?
Also the great Olby use to be a regular on the Dan Patrick radio show. Now when was the last time Olby was on Dan Patrick's radio show? Funny, he was a regular.
I thought when NBC hired Dan Patrick it was supposed to be the Great Reunion of the ESPN giants? That hasn't panned out, has it?
But if you think Comcast will want pay Olby BOR money to read scores on Sunday night. Go ahead and have your fantasy.
Comcast can put on one of their Hottie sportscasters to do Olby's job reading scores for less money. Hotties reading scores on Sunday night, or fat bloated one reading scores on Sunday night?
Hotties, Guys, Football.....doesn't take a rocket scientist. And Comast has a bunch.
....of hotties that is.
Rodney Harrison.
"Rand Paul on Maddow? SHIT! I hate to tell my fellow Kentuckians "I told you so".... BUT I TOLD YOU SO!! The guy is as left as they come, he was never a true conservative, Jack Conway will destroy him"
Huh? Let's get some things straight here. Hannity and FNC prime were in the tank for Grayson. The Pauls are pretty much banned from FNC prime, they had nowhere else to go but CNN & MSNBC. When did you see Rand or Ron Paul on O'Reilly, Hannity or Greta?
So, since he was banned from Hannity, what is he supposed to do? Hannity was a Grayson supporter. Grayson was supported by 'The Company' namely Cheney & McConnell. So he goes on Maddow, that makes him automatic liberal? Okay. What do you want him to do? Kiss all the RINO's feet now?
Note to MikeC: thanks on the Rodney Harrison.
I don't know where you live, Puck. But I live in Kentucky. We've known about Paul for years. He's a libertarian who goes far left. He took the Tea Party for a ride.
And as soon as the thread where Olbermann disses a fan goes away, MKDAWUSS returns.
You're welcome. Rand Paul was on "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight. He didn't seem far-left to me. He's libertarian. So are Glenn Beck, Judge Andrew Napolitano, and John Stossel. I'm not libertarian and not defending him, but I just don't want to believe he's far-left.
Johnny, you were right on the money with your rundown. The guests:
#5A: The Wolffe Man...again.
#5B: Ezra Klein.
#4: Dave Weigel.
#3: Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Olby's new political BFF.
#1: Robert Redford.
Really? I just got done watching the Maddow interview, it seems the left is already going after him about Civil Rights?
Yeah, he's a libertarian who goes far left? Grayson was no Tea Party guy being supported by Cheney & McConnell. And McConnell just voted last week to not 'Audit the Fed'.
Oh well, Rand Paul must be a man of Mistery. Here you tell me he's not a True Conservative and on another thread another person from Kentucky has told he's not a true Libertarian.
We'll see, I like Rand Paul because the Establishment Republicans don't like him, and Rand has said in interviews I've watched he is a big states rights guy, smaller government. But you and Rick on the other site say you know better. And I must also say I didn't follow that race, that much because I joined "The Enemy' for just a short while to help get Arlin Spector kicked out of the race. But as of Thurs will rejoin the ranks of the Independents.
All I can say is we'll see. And here's an update I learned. Rand Paul will be on 'The Factor' Thursday night. I might be out, so I will tivo it.
syvyn11 I'm confused?????
Rand is too far left and this guy isn't? WOW! It's really left vs. really left?
http://www.mediaite.com/online/ky-dem-nominee-jack-conway-accuses-rand-paul-of-opposing-the-civil-rights-act/
I guess if anything, it's going to be a fun race to watch.
Then again, this is Matthews. LOL!
He was on tonight, Puck. Unfortunately, the segment was not posted on FOXNews.com. I'm sure someone will have video up by tomorrow. Or TiVo/DVR at 11:00, 46 minutes from now.
Paul is pro-legalizing drugs, pro-prostitution and anti-Israel. That doesn't shout conservative to me.
I forgot about that, Syvyn11. Like father, like son, I guess.
Obama only bashes one state
Arizona's the land that he'll hate
Arizona is right
And not afraid to fight
Because Obama won't latch the gate
I hate when conservs go on Maddow, that dumb dyke sets them up with strawman arguments like the Walgreen's counter or whatever the hell. She did it with J.D. Hayworth (Abramoff), and the guy from FAIR (used a komment from one of the founders). Fox WAS in the tank for Grayson, but since Rand won, Hannity and that other phony Sarah Palin are his biggest fans now, give me a break. Hannity and the neo-cons HATE Ron Paul, they seem to like Rand a little better because they say he's a bit more mainstream then the old man, but they were in the tank for Greyson.
What's wrong with being against the Patriot Act, TSA and FEMA and their bullshit and being for gun rights? Absolutely nothing! The Paul are what old time conservatives used to be before the era of PC. Hannity, Rush, and Levin are just phonies. Reagan conservatives my ass. Reagan wouldn't have done "nation building" or signed on to glass parking lot every asshole Arab country.
Anyways, I do have a Keith related question: During the ever exciting Tea Time segment, why does he call them the Something for Nothing Crowd? I'm sure he's just casting the usual aspersions since the Tea Parties are quite the opposite. I missed the first few times he did this ratings grabbing segment, so maybe I missed something profound. However I'm not gonna bet my overpriced Goldline coins on it LOL
Bravo Sovietcolonel
Though I have to give a little credit to Palin, she did endorse Rand Paul aways back, but I'm no fan of Sarah.
I'm so glad Keith had the environmental expert Robert Redford on to discuss the oil leak. I was particularly interested in this brilliant exchange:
Keith: "What do we do about drilling in the immediate future? Do we need to shut down until there are more emergency plans in places for things like this when they happen next time."
Redford: I think so. I think it's pretty obvious..."
He then babbled on and blamed Bush/Cheney [Ding!..a dollar to Mike C.] for all of our energy problems.
But here is the point. Keith and Redford want to SHUT DOWN DRILLING just for a little bit until there are more emergency plans in place? So Keith, how long do we shut down? A week? Month? 3 months? A year? Do you two idiots have any idea what that would do to gas prices...let alone the economy? How does $8.00/gallon gas sound to you. Not to mention the cost to consumers when the price of EVERYTHING goes up because the companies that ship products pass the cost on to the consumers.
Did these two liberal elitist morons ever think about the economic impact on the middle class by shutting down drilling "until there are more emergency plans in place"? But it wouldn't affect these two millionaires because they could basically afford anything they want to buy.
There is nothing more special than two brain dead morons discussing energy policies when neither one of them has a clue what they are talking about.
Another fantastic edition of Meltdown.
brad,
$8.00/gallon gasoline means nothing to these boobs. Keith can't drive because a subway train collided with his head and he has no depth perception. Not to mention Keith never leaves Manhattan. Besides, he and Redford get shuttled around in gas-guzzling limousines. Why should they care about gas prices? Limousine liberals. Completely out of touch.

.........................SIR!
Did anyone catch Keith's sly injection at the end of his show? When mentioning that Rachel Maddow would have Rand Paul as a guest, he said something along the lines of, "did you catch my guest?"
First, no, no one did. And second, having on Rand Paul is a lot more interesting that bringing in some archaic actor turned environmentalist to, yet again, bash Bush and Cheney. In case you forgot, it was only the day before Rand Paul was a guest on Rachel Maddow that he won the primary in Kentucky.
So, in reality, Keith's farewell last night was really meant to go like this..."And now Rachel Maddow, but I have better guests, even though they still fit the recipe for my show, mindless idiots who will agree with me, yes me. ME!"
Now, Keith, we know that you're not gay, nor have you ever been gay (one of the dumbest things I've ever heard anyone use as a prologue to any argument, seeing that you insinuate you can change your sexual orientation throughout your life, while arguing that it's a born characteristic), we know you love baseball, we know you hate Bush, we know all about your parents (may they rest in peace), we know you used to work at ESPN, we know you went to Cornell (we saw your degree), we know you think your a centrist, we know you won't drive, we know you're not married, we know where you stand on every major political issue...we know, we know, we know.
Keith, have you ever sat back and thought about it? None of this, is about you...
Here is video of Rand Paul's "O'Reilly Factor" appearance last night.
J$ has jury duty today. So, there won't be a new OlbyWatch thread posted tonight.
I'm predicting a Olby attack tonight.
Right now, Glenn Beck is talking about James Gandofini calling Beck "Satan", while Glenn had his son in his arms. Glenn is pissed and rightfully so. Time and place, Mr. Gandofini. Watch for Olby to take this out of context and make Glenn Worst Person tonight.
Remember, on Olby Planet, Family is fair game. Keithy-poo attacked Lou Dobbs and Sarah Palin's kids, so to him, Glenn's kids are fair game.
As for Mr. Gandofini, "The Sopranos" was a piece of SHIT! OVERRATED!
I hope someone puts a upper decker in his water closet.
Beck added after the break that Gandofini apologized for saying "satan" to his son, and Glenn accepted and called him a "Man of honor" and that he's and his son heard much worse.
So instead of being a complete piece of shit, he's now a 'almost complete piece of shit'!
"J$ has jury duty today. So, there won't be a new OlbyWatch thread posted tonight.
That's OK, we love having MKDAWUSS hang around making stupid comments then ignoring us. Still waiting for that "you're" retraction.
"As for Mr. Gandofini, "The Sopranos" was a piece of SHIT! OVERRATED!"
I watched six and a half episodes of that crap series and all I could think of was how much of a rip-off it was of every single mafia movie ever.
And the cruisfiction of (Rand) Paul begins.
Olby has Jimmy Clyburne to call Paul everything from racist to "A lazzie-faire government do anything you want", with Olby laughing like a little girl being told that Santa is coming early this year. Follows up with Howie Fineman, who I didn't know was from my state of Kentucky. GLAD WE THREW HIS ASS OUT!
Welcome to the new face of the republican party. MSNBC and CNN will make sure of it.
So Olbermann is throwing a tantrum tonight over some people burning an Obama effigy in Wisconsin. For the way BathTub Boy treated Bush, does anybody take him seriously on this topic? It's comical how serious he pretends to be regarding dissent to Obama, but he is always the first one carrying the torch to smear Bush and Cheney.
Also, The Sopranos is still amazing, even if Gandolfini is a nitwit. This isn't the first stupid thing he has said, but Edie Falco is way worse. Everybody in showbiz is a leftists these days, I am done boycotting products if they are still entertaining. I still like to believe that politics and entertainment shouldn't be mixed, so I just ignored the stupid things celebs constantly spit out.
Also, way to steal the UK's branding of the crappy new Olympic mascots as Kang and Kodos from The Simpsons. Just about every British publication made that joke first, yet Olbermann still thinks he being clever by throwing it out there. Olbermann really does remind of me "Name Dropping Greg". If you watch Red Eye, you know what I mean. I am sure the addiction to medication is just as strong for both. Also, don't forget "Sexually Confused Greg". Olbermann really is a living greatest hits of personality disorders.
Finally, who wants to bet that the big banks just pass the massive cost of regulation onto the consumers now that this bill will probably pass? The libs think they are helping the lower and middle class by punishing the banks, but in the end, the regulations will hurt the poor the most via a decrease in available credit and higher transaction fees. This isn't that difficult to figure out, if you still allow the banks free range to alter fees and costs to their customers, then they are obviously not going to take the hit once new regulation hits. And since nationalizing the banks would be a disaster, then all regulation is destined to fail. Why can't Olbermann comprehend this? Banks are a business, and priority #1 for all business is to make money, not fall in line to the government.
It's not Johnny Dollar you hear trying to get out of jury duty (sorry pal), IT'S TEE TIME!!!!
(really man, my sister is a teacher and they wouldn't let her out of jury duty)
Tonight's attack is the same attack as last night. Why does Keith want a mosque to near 9/11? Jesus Christ! Democrats=willing to defend Islam to our deaths!
Again, if it didn't say it before, THANKS RAND PAUL!!!! We're all racists because you wanted to be on Maddow!
Oh dear God, make it stop, IT'S THE WPITW ABSTRACT!
Bronze: RUSH-BO: Calls President Calderon- Senor Fenses.
Silver: Dana Perino- For calling Obama a coward for not taking questions at a press conference.
GOLD: Karen Shownfeild for burning Obama in effigy. Which is still a 1000 times kinder what liberals said and did to Bush. Are you going to say anything about that Keith? Fascist.
Another Award winning COUNTDOWN TO SOME POOR CSI GETTING KILLED TONIGHT!!!! (it's either Hodges, Wendy or Greg, I'm hoping Greg).
Yet again, Olbermann is pretending that domestic terrorism perpetrated by white males is somehow worse than onslaught of Islamic terrorism targeted at America. No matter how many isolated statements he can take from tea party members to claim they are racist, it doesn't change the fact that MUSLIMS are the ones who are actually planning and committing these attacks. A classic Olbermann tactic, when you can't actually prove your original claim, just bring down the opposing side via smears. I'm not going to defend what that tea party member said regarding Islam/the mosque at the World Trade Center site, but it certainly isn't evidence that domestic terrorism is a bigger threat.
Finally, correct me if I'm wrong here, but it is not illegal to burn effigies of politicians in America. Olbermann has declared that the authorities are going to get involved in the Obama effigy case, but assuming it wasn't burnt indoors in violation of fire codes, then I don't understand what crime was committed. I know it's illegal to make threats against the President, but I thought standard for legal action is whether the threat was legitimate. I would never actually participate in a burning like the one that took place, but this is AMERICA. We have freedom for political expression, whether it be the leftists screaming at military veterans or the Fred Phelps nuts yelling at everything under the sun. Good to see that Olbermann is in favor of shutting down all political speech he doesn't agree with, he is just as bad as the Conservatives who were trying to push through the flag burning Amendments the last 20 years. Tough luck if you think it's offensive, but freedom of expression is absolute, and the government should never be involved in weighing what is and isn't valuable. This is the only topic I actually agree with the ACLU on, Politicians need to stop trying to legislate out activities they don't agree with. This should be a conservative ideal, I don't understand why Ron Paul is the only one who sticks up for it.
Story #1 today, Erich Pica of the Friends of the Earth declares that the the BP executives should be treated as criminals. Olbermann has a new hypothesis, he has taken the estimates of the oil soaked up by hay versus the estimate of how much was actually being released daily. Because the numbers don't match exactly, then BP is a bunch of liars. Olbermann doesn't understand the concept of estimates, perhaps he thinks there is a a meter on each pipe which specifically counts the oil as it is emitted. Who actually falls for this sort of argument, it's clear that all of the numbers BP has released have been estimates.
We need to stand up against the BULLSHIT arguments of fatass sex pervert Keith and his less feminine and tougher brother, Rachel Maddow.
I'm against ONE part of the civil rights bill, therefore I'm against civil rights and therefore I'M A RACIST. Or as Keith would say "If you didn't know it before...Rand Paul...RACIST!!
I've had it with these statist mother F's. I'm just overly mad that only 30 house members stood up against a bribe to the states to take everyone's DNA on arrest, NOT conviction.
Tough on crime...oh so very soft on freedom.
I had a feeling Obly was going to be all over Rand Paul. His name came up several times on the loony left blogs so it's no surprise that BTB jumps on the bandwagon since those blogs are 99% of his news sources.
Get ready for a full on smear campaign from Olby and Co. complete with flat out lies, distortions and everything taken out of context.
At least Comcast takes over in about a month so maybe there is hope.
As for CSI I hope it's NOT Mindy Bimms AKA Wendy Simms as the not so great one Mark Levin might say
I just want to share a few poll numbers with Keith and left wing loons:
***Paul (R) leads Conway (D) by an average of 9.6 points. Even Research 2000/Daily Rag has Paul ahead by 3 points.
Source: Real Clear Politics
***71% of Arizona residents now favor the immigration law, while 24% oppose it.
***55% of voters nationwide favor passage of a law like Arizona’s in their own state and 68% of Americans say it’s a bad idea for other cities or states to boycott Arizona over its new immigration law.
***And as for the Olby/Redford opinion to "shut down (drilling) until there are more emergency plans in place for things like this when they happen next time." 64% believe offshore oil drilling should be allowed, up from 58% earlier this month.
Source: Rasmussen Reports
It's very interesting to note that 55% of Americans opposed HC Reform and yet Obama/Dems pushed it through anyway. Now over 70% of Arizona residents support the new Immigration Law while Obama and the Dems oppose it.
Does anyone else see a trend developing here?
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/scott-whitlock/2010/05/20/msnbc-slams-rand-paul-eight-segments-totaling-37-minutes-attacking-r
So, folks, get used to it. Olby and MSNBC will be branding Rand Paul a "racist" in the hopes of a "game changing" event but they have a very long way to go according to the polls.
Huffington Post also Slams Rand calling him quote, "A One Hit Wonder"
http://news.yahoo.com/s/huffpost/583988
""And are you suggesting those stories aren't important? How many "important stories" has Bill-O omitted/avoided? The Chalkboard? Hannity?""-MK
I don't know any big stories that O'reilly or Hannity have avoided talking about. So I can't really answer that except to say that I can not think of an example. Do you have any?
But it doesn't matter. Pointing out other people doing wrong does not justify Olbermann doing wrong. It's a weak, illogical, cop out.
If Olbermann is suggesting that BP executives be held accountable criminally for an accidental explosion, then what is his position on the Obama administration's intentional actions of passing legislature that American did not favor, or could afford? Seeing that Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama all promised the American people they wouldn't raise our taxes, they wouldn't add a single dime to the deficit, the healthcare bill would be paid for, and complete transparency, isn't it also fair to suggest that these characters pay back the money they promised they wouldn't spend? The money they promised wouldn't add to our debt? If you want to talk about a flat out lie, then look no further than your hero, Barack Obama...
Olby and Weiner might want to read this from previous Worse Person Stephen Spruiell.
The topic will also come up--minus Olby, of course--in the At Your Beck and Call segment tonight on "The O'Reilly Factor."
MSNBC Rand Paul Attack: Day 2
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/scott-whitlock/2010/05/21/msnbc-continues-its-assault-rand-pauls-policies-links-civil-war-terr
I think the comment by "Galvanic" sums it up perfectly:
Paul is dangerous to them, similar to the threat they perceive in Sarah Palin.
So, Paul gets the Race Card thrown at him, regardless of what he said or didn't say on MSNBC.
The real indicators will be in the polls of potential Kentucky voters. Do they feel stronger or weaker about his candidacy?
As we've seen with Palin, race attacks by the Left have only made her more popular. What effect will they have on Paul remains to be seen.
And stand by, because any candidate who wins a primary with strong Tea Party support will get the exact same treatment.
*****************************************************************
Exactly. And expect Goebbels to shoulder most of the race baiting at MSNBC.
Stand by...it's gonna get ugly.
