We all know when elections don't go the way he likes, he runs off and pouts for a few days.

And what would happen if what was on the surface was exactly what it was? If most of this speculation and rumor mongering is just yet another attempt to wage a smear campaign against Keith Olbermann? I have a feeling that this is all this is. Anything that might stick instead of just smear gets used.

If you're talking about Izzy Povich quitting Countdown, ICN knew about it over a month ago, along with the reasons. He was proven right today. You call it speculation and a 'smear' campaign (gee, would that be like, oh, saying that Fox News was worse than the KKK?) but every report that came out today is 100% consistent. OK Katy ... I'm sure that most of us don't have things to say that are complimentary of Keith Olbermann, his Show, his narcissistic demeaner or the way in which he expesses his lame political views or his self-aggrandizing ways. But to resort to repeated vulgarity and pointless context only shows ignorance and lack of character which is a detriment to us as a whole being taken seriously.

I would like to be proud of the intelligent conversation and exchange of ideas we have on this blog and not be embarrassed by entries that our enemies can use to show ignorance of the people who frequent this site. I'm sure that you are an intelligent person seeing as how you can put ideas into prose. But, an intelligent observation made into witty (not vulgar or unintelligent) prose can be much more effective than one such as the above.

Limericks are not prose dear heart, nor are they clean for the most part. There was a time I would have agreed with you ron, but Olbermann has convinced me that turn about is fair play.

I have been contributing limericks to OWatch for years and have very rarely resorted to obscene language. Apparently, you don't appreciate my attempt at making Keith's ignorant tweet ("only dipshits") conspicuous. Limericks are intended to be witty, humorous, or sarcastic and are sometimes obscene with humorous intent: "There once was a man from Nantucket..."

I apologize if I offended any regular readers of OWatch. As for Olbermann and his ilk... I couldn't care less.

I'm just a little concerned about giving the opposition ammunition to point to that would tend to validify their claims that we are nothing but "rubes" and "knuckle draggers" jealous of their superior intelligence, eductaion or self percieved righteousness. I've always been taught that useless banter and the regression to vulgarity tend to to be a sign of failing logic and intelligence (kinda like KO's self-indulgent rants ... on his Show and on Twitter). I hold no animosity towards you ... I guess I just need to learn to appreciate the long tradition of limmerick as a form of expression. (vulgarities should be limited though in my opinion)

Maybe he will bash the Arizona Diamondbacks for being racist, not having enough "big name" hispanic players, etc. LOL. Olbermoron makes out like he is some kind of sports expert, but he doesn't know shit. I remember laughing my ass off two years ago when he predicted during halftime of one of the playoff games that "Arizona won't go anywhere in the playoffs this year" and they not only went to the Superbowl, but almost won it.
