Our monthly scan of the MSNBC transcripts turned out just like all the previous ones. It's what you might expect from the most unbalanced, one-sided "news" program this side of Radio North Korea. Behold, the chart:

Some additional fun facts about the month's statistics:
Yeah, we know that Weigel is no more "independent" than Crazy Larry O'Donnell (who himself appeared three times). But we bend over backwards in an abundance of caution to ensure that our counts are unimpeachable, so even conservative-haters like Weigel get the benefit of the doubt, and are classed as "independent".
So get set for another month of propaganda from the least diversified hour on all of cable news. Discuss, resolve, and recap. Comments are open!
I'll post my VIDEO OF THE WEEK now, so when it's time for Uncle Keith's weakly reading (I know I misspelled it) of Thurber, you'll have something half way entertaining to watch.
I give you, Mr. Tim Wilson and Church League Softball Fist Fight.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DyxjiGA_UM
Enjoy.
And a proper WPITW abstract later.
So it's bad when republicans politicize the war?
YOU MEAN LIKE THE DEMOCRATS DID IN 2002, 2004, 2006 AND 2008?
Time to take your medicine Keith. Don't taste good, does it?
Beck U? I know it's not as prestigious as going to Cornell..... COW! But you can learn something worthwhile at Beck U.!
And they get some hump from the biased Media Matters? Fair and balanced as usual on Keith's show. Both Liberal and SUPER LIBERAL views are allowed.
No, that's not your lunch coming back up, it's your daily update on the nothings for MSNBC crowd.... TEE TIME!!!
No tea today, sorry.
Get out your tape recorders and fake passports, it's time for the WPITW ABSTRACT!!!!
Bronze: Louie Gormer- about something about a baby being born, a baby from hamas. Yawn.
Silver: Jan Brewer- For stating the truth about crime and illegal immgration.
GOLD!: US!!! or at least the 26% of Americans who couldn't answer who we won our independence from. And just like all guest on Countdown, THEY WERE ALL DEMOCRATS.
Of course, I have no proof of that, but I'll lay money that everyone on this site knows that we won who we won our independence from.
Have a safe weekend. See you guys on Monday or Tuesday. And let's be careful out there.
June is over and by my count Olby only missed one day, is that right?
January: 18 out of 20 days worked
February: 18 out of 20 days worked
March: 4 out of 23 days worked
April: 19 out of 22 days worked
May: 19 out of 20 days worked
June: 21 out of 22 days worked
Holidays are not included. Any ideas on why Olby is suddenly showing up for work? My personal believe is that he is banking his vacation so he can take off all of November to soak in a tub after the Dems get demolished in the mid-terms.
Also I know this is a day late by I have to comment on something extremely stupid Olby said Thursday during his WPitW segment. Though minor, I want to point out that saying "blitz" comes from "blitzkrieg" is like saying "snow" comes from "snowcone" or "cheese" comes from "cheesehead". You see blitz means lightning and krieg means war, so to think that you first have to have the saying "lightning war" before you get "lightning" is moronic.
I know this is a stupid thing but since it is the only part of the show I watched it speaks volumes about how if Olby gets something this small wrong then how likely he is to get the big stuff right. Also, asshat? Does Olby think using a term like asshat is something a journalist would do? Countdown, the worst 60 minutes of television this side Korean DMZ.
Seal up the barn and put in the looping dvd. Monday Lockup-RAW from 11am to 5 am on Monday. So no BIG SHOW July 5th, perfect day to soak in the tub. See you guys Tuesday.

"Beck U? I know it's not as prestigious as going to Cornell..... COW! But you can learn something worthwhile at Beck U.!"
Very true. As opposed to
The Little Old Keithie From Cornell Cow Coll
(Go, Keithie! Go, Keithie! Go, Keithie, go!)
Likes to bellow and bluster, just like a gun moll.
(Go, Keithie! Go, Keithie! Go, Keithie, go!)
He rips and reads material from Daily Kos;
He thinks he's hot (stuff); doesn't know he's toast
With any luck, our TVs won't be graced this fall
By the Little Old Keithie From Cornell Cow Coll.
He yells really loud, reading stuff from a card;
He's a terrifying, putrefying mass of lard.
It's the Little Old Keithie From Cornell Cow Coll

Keith Tweet:
"@stromi3 Correct. I criticized Obama's Gulf speech, terror non-prosecutions, Afghan. decisions. Fox criticized NOTHING Bush did"
Um. Yeah, so that whole time Alan Colmes was co-hosting his show with Hannity he just said nothing? Funny cuz I remember him criticizing Bush all the time. In fact, I remember lots of people on Fox News criticizing Bush.
Does he actually believe the crap he writes and talks about?
Also love how he compares himself to the whole Fox News network.
Funny, I remember at least 3 right leaning FNC regulars who criticized Bush for his decisions. And the reason he compares himself to the entire Fox News network is that he sees himself with more journalistic intergerty than the entire FNC. But in truth, the janitor at FNC has more of that than Olby.
Whenever Openbordermann talks about illegal immigration or illegal immigrants, he replaces the word "illegal" with "undocumented." Enough said.
#3: Another full-segment Beck attack, plus an attack on a Beck guest, with some guy from an Olby blue blog source: Media Matters.
Keith Tweet:
"@stromi3 Correct. I criticized Obama's Gulf speech, terror non-prosecutions, Afghan. decisions. Fox criticized NOTHING Bush did"
Keith meant to say.... "Of the Fox clips I, and MSNBC, show on our network, they criticized NOTHING Bush did"
Keith, what a joke.
"Undocumented" means "broke the law"
Another Olby fact-check guffaw
He's so full of sh!t
Moonbats won't admit
There are wetbacks in South Omaha
What an idiot. O'Reilly criticized Bush all the time on various issues. Olbermoron never actually watches Fox. He just gets his Fox material from Media Matters.
Did Olbermann ever agree with Bush on anything?
The only conservative who criticized Bush was Michael Savage.
Olbermann's criticized Obama more times than Rush, Hannity, Beck, Bill-O criticized Bush.
Anyway, have a happy Independence Day.
Well if MKDAWUSS says it then it must be true.
If you disregard the bounty of misinformation followed by not showing up for days after printing misinformation, then yeah, it must be true.
Wussy, Wussy, Wussy,
You are such a Pussy.
You'll Hit and Run,
Til Keithy's show's Done,
Soon you'll kiss Spitzer's Tushy.
""Olbermann's criticized Obama more times than Rush, Hannity, Beck, Bill-O criticized Bush."" -MKDAWUSS
Even if true, so what?
Olbermann loses any chance of being taken seriously by NEVER HAVING ANYONE FROM THE RIGHT ON HIS SHOW.
Even if Hannity was 100% behind Bush, he'd still bring a liberal on to give their side of the story (he had Colmes for Christ's sake). O'reilly always brings on people he disagrees with.
Olbermann has called this type of debate "pointless". His basic idea is that he is more interested in the truth. But he misses the fact that what he is giving is the truth as he sees it. He thinks that his opinion is the truth, and those that disagree with him are objectively wrong. That's what sets him apart from the other names you mention.
Even if he criticizes Obama...he still has no dissent on his show.
"Olbermann loses any chance of being taken seriously by NEVER HAVING ANYONE FROM THE RIGHT ON HIS SHOW."
Mancow. Joe Scarborough (if you still wanna' call him a rightie). Even Tweety Bird passes for a rightie sometimes.
BTW, even some of KO's regular correspondents have disagreed with him. So there is dissent every now and again. There just isn't the shouting match and intelligible crosstalk that passes for debate on FOX News and Hardball.
Mancow was on once to talk about a subject he and Keith agreed on.
I've never seen Scarborough on Countdown. I assume you're counting when he was a correspondent during the election? And Olby was caught on the live mic?
Not sure who Tweety Bird is.
KO's regular guests sometimes disagree about minor details. Their ideology is the same. It's basically having Rush and Hannity quibble over a point. They agree on the big picture, disagree about details.
""There just isn't the shouting match and intelligible crosstalk that passes for debate on FOX News and Hardball."" -MKDAWUSS
Don't recycle Keith's straw man.
Why isn't Keith capable of having a rational conversation with someone he disagrees with?
As far as shouting goes. Keith Olbermann is not against shouting. He shouts and name calls all the time.
Look at that chart MK. Why does Keith have Democratic strategists on his show, but not Republican strategists?
So Countdown is a news show? And yet not one segment on Friday night's show about Friday mornings monthly jobs report.
Tweety was Chris Matthews, Bobby.
Olby's new MSNBC buddy, Sir David Weigel, was on 'Reliable Sources' this morning. Oh, those eeevil "partisan anti-media groups."
"There just isn't the shouting match and intelligible crosstalk that passes for debate on FOX News and Hardball."
Yeah, because every person that disagrees with the host of a show turns it into a shouting match. Five or six interviews a night and they all become "shouting matches. Ridiculous.
I've been watching O'Reilly for about two years now and seen two, TWO, completely out of control interviews: Barney Frank and Joan Walsh. I know you don't have any evidence to back that up MKDAWUSS so you can go away again for three days and we won't hold it against you.
You really need to stop talking. Each post is worse than the last. When Olbermann reads this blog (and we know he does) he must cringe knowing the only one here to defend him is you making things worse.
First, Keith's guests agree with him on what the political outcome should be. What KO apologists may list as disagreements are actually relatively minor reinterpretations of basic facts to fit their narrative.
Second, Keith's response to the notion that he spouts Dem talking points is to cite his criticisms of Obama compared to THE ENTIRE FOX NEWS NETWORK's treatment of Bush, a notion that is laughable on its surface. He's not citing what O'Reilly does, or Hannity, or giving any specifics. He's just generalizing about the entire network. In other words, he's positioning himself as the left-wing version of what he considers agenda-based reporting of Fox News, which any intelligent viewer of Fox News would realize is absurd.
Keith's judgment only makes sense if one conflates opinion and fact. To Keith, to give voice to an opposing viewpoint in any regard is to endorse it explicitly. Keith's dream of political hegemony is not served by a rigorous examination of the issues. His suggestion that any discussion of opposing political viewpoints must automatically devolve into a shouting match is classic projection. Keith clearly harbors a deep emotional hatred of anyone who doesn't share his view, and thus he assumes all people harbor such resentments. His close mindedness blinds him of his own hypocrisy in pursuing his agenda.
Everyone also needs to remember that not only does MSNBC have a 100% white lineup, but Olbermoron's show has an astonishing 96% of guests that are white. If you throw in Olbermoron's racist attacks against Michael Steele, what does it all add up to?
If he does have African-American guests on, they're progressive victimizers (Sharpton, Clyburn, Waters, Gene Robinson).
Apparently, KO is on a "diet" according to a tweet
@Allergywoman the mildest case possible. I have to be attentive to my diet but not restrictive.
Haha, what diet? Three burgers as compared to four?
I go to watch Countdown and there's a guy talking about gang rape.
MSNBC: The Place for Prison Docs.
