Why do I watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann? I come away feeling sick and intellectually raped. It's pretty easy to see why he never has conservatives on his show. If they mention something, and Olbermann hasn't seen Media Matters' response to it, he will be completely lost.

Also. Looking over Twitter. Keith loves throwing that "2 million a night!" thing around.

Is it customary to add all your re-runs together to come up with the total? Is it also customary to forget that Friday exists when averaging the number of viewers per night? I guess Keith dismisses it as an outlier since MSNBC goes right into prison docs on Friday.

I was looking through some tv news ratings though. Nancy Grace sometimes beats Keith in the demo. That's kind of funny.

Is Keith simply twisting a truth with regard to case of the New Black Panther Party story depicted on Fox News? I was under the impression that Obama's AG and the DOJ just recently threw out the case and were undergoing srcutiny because of the DOJ policy now ... not simply a decision dismissing the case by the previous administration. Someone please enlighten me to the truth. I (as a truth seeking person) would hate to think that I was conned into believing something untrue. It seems that the FOX account holds more water.

Thus the magic of "rip and read Olbermann". He finds a story that fits his narrative, so he reads it, doesn't bother checking for facts, that's that particular websites job.

Just a note on tonight's big show. George Steinbrenner just died. So a teary special coment on what the Yankees meant to Keith and his dad. Cause it's all about Keith.

Sad news folks. George Steinbrenner has passed away at 80. Sadly, this also means we'll get a dose or ten about how much he loved Keith, supported Keith, loved his show, supported his world view, or was simply just best friends with the fatass.

The Bush administration never dismissed any charges. They made a decision early on not to file a criminal charge but rather a civil action to get injunctive relief. That was mostly dismissed by the DoJ under Holder. So the short answer is yes, it's Another Olbermann Lie.
