Our monthly scan of the MSNBC transcripts turned out just like all the previous ones. Well, not exactly. There was, for the first time in years, a 'conservative' appearing in the count. But there's a catch. Behold, the chart:

Hey, how did one 'conservative' guest find his way onto OlbyPlanet? Well, it wasn't exactly OlbyPlanet. Two weeks of the month found Herr Olbermahn on his staycation, and "Crazy" Larry O'Donnell was the host. On one program, Larry generously allowed a conservative to appear. That was David Frum, who was there to criticize Andrew Breitbart. Ah, that explains it.

As for #1. Sharron is asking approval for questions the press asks her? What makes that different from what democrats do when they pre-screen any "town hall meetings"? Heck Obama's "THMs" are pre-screened like crazy. In fact what makes what Sharron does any different from what Keith does? At least Sharron is honest about it, unlike Olby.

I'm sorry MSNBC ... If Keith Olbermann is the BEST that you can do in providing any serious commentary on the "even the most left' interpretation of the Government or the News ... then I really have to stop watching MSNBC. I try to view and consider aspects from each point of view, thus my viewing of both sides. But the really "weird" commentary and completely contrived portrayals of truth by this man are more times silly than serious as it should be. Is this REALLY how you want to portray your view of the left side of politics?

Segment 1: Aptly titled "Constitution, I hardly knew ye"
Apparently Lindsey Graham, John Kyle and John McCain have called for the repeal of the 14th amendment, Olby's proof? Well, none really, but who needs proof? What is the truth? Those three have asked for congressional review on what the language of the 14th amendment means. Apparently Olby thinks the 14th amendment reads as "All persons born or naturalized in the United States . . . are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside". Anyone besides me see the problem (I'm sure you don't MCDAWUSS)? Well let me enlighten (without heat! don't want anyone getting toasty) "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside". That's right! There's an "and" in there! Does Keith ". . ." Olbermann know the difference between "and" and "or"? Does he know what the definition of "is" is? I speculate, you decide.
For more on segment 1 let's go with me on a journey to stupidity. You see the 14th amendment, according to Obly, was written to deal with slaves. Today we have no slaves. Ergo you would think that the 14th amendment no longer has meaning. Or does Olby think that illegal immigrants are really slaves? Or is this the left once again rewriting history to change the purpose of the 14th amendment? Olby lies, you can decide if you want.
Next on the list for segment 1 is Olby using the infalibility of the court to say "Look, the court says it effects immigrants and the court can't be wrong!" in the same segment that he attacks the court for the Dredd Scott descision. Olby hypocriticizes, you can start laughing if it wasn;t so sad (and look i made a verb out of hypocrite, oh Olby won't you tweet me a twitter?)
Am I done yet? Unfortunately no as Olby becomes a birther! That's right, McCain is not a citizen because he was born on an army base in Panama and Romney is not a citizen because his grandfather once lived in Mexico. Olby becomes unglued, you get the dry heaves.
More! How is this possible, oh right we are talking about Olby, we could go on all night. Turly shows up and starts talking about the King's Land Law. I suppose that Hamurabi's Code, the Ten Commandments and the Magna Carta are all valid alternatives also. I mean why use the Constitution when discussing American law when we have so many other non-relevant sources to rely on? Olby obfuscates, you should probably check your pulse if you watch Countdown.
Please tell me this will be over soon. I can only hope. Olby brings up some hack congressman who says that the 14th amendment should cover immigrants. Turly brings up the fact that the author said it should not. Who gets more weight with Olby, the author or the no-name hoople head? Olby goes with the inconsequential, you get the joy of reading the crap I am writing.

How is it that the most ignorant man to ever hold the office of President of the United States of America was able to set up a system where ninteen months after leaving office he would be able to tear apart the Democratic party with RAAACISST! ethics charges againt Maxine Waters and Charlie Rangle? Will we ever be able to escape the land mines left behind by the evil George Bush? Olby gets deranged, you get to laugh.
Let's go to Eugene Robinson for his take: "Everyone does it so the only reason to pick on these two people is RAAACISSSMMM!!" Oh, and it's George Bush's fault too. I mean, I'm no statitician, so what other reason could there possible be that the black members of congress are being picked on? Could it be that the are the ones breaking the rules? Olby plays the Eugene card, you get to be called a racist.

Segment 3: Birth of the capper
I'll say capper sounds stupid but not as stupid as Olby saying the video is faked. Does Olby also belive the moon landing was faked? Was 9/11 a government job? Where's the birth certificate? Olby conspiracizes, you get to rot your brain.
Static kill!?!? How dare they! Doesn't BP know that they can't stop this leak untill after the elections? I mean Dems need this as a talking point. Olby really seems pissed off that BP is trying everything it can to cap the well. Bob Cavnar showed up to agree that BP is trying to hard. Also makes the outrageous statement that Corexit is more toxic then the oil, something the EPA would disagree with. Olby blah blah blah, you get tired of me doing this.

Segment 4: Worse Segment in the World!
Fortunately for you syvyn already handled this so you can skip right ahead to whatever comes next. If you don't want to then let me ask, why does Keith use rendition instead of extradition when talking about Marc Thiessen. I know that extradition is rendition but why do you have to use the more inflamatory word rendition? Olby panders to the base, you feel a need to spit in his face (well maybe not but I thought you would like a rhyme)
Segment 5: Angle-ing for his DNC masters
Quick, who said: "Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control" and "so that what the voters heard we determined, as opposed to some editor in a TV station"? Was it Sharon Angle? If you watch Olby thinking he's not full of crap then most likely yes. If you have more then two brain cells (do you qualify MCDAWUSS?) you would know this came from Obama's communication's director. Did Olby have a problem with things like: "Whether it was a David Plouffe video or an Obama speech, a huge part of our press strategy was focused on making the media cover what Obama was actually saying as opposed to why the campaign was saying it" and "One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters. ... We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it"
So in Olby world using, yes USING, the media to raise campaign funds is horrible but controlling the media to get BHO elected is not worth a comment. Only ignores, you can go to bed now.
Rendition makes Keithy sound smarter than he actually is. Sort of like that Dryfuss affair stuff he sprouted off when he did his 'special comment' about Mrs. Sherrod.
When you bring up the Dreyfus Affair, I immediately think of Glenn Beck and Pat Gray aptly mocking Keithy's Komment two weeks ago.
For once, I actually am slightly sympathetic towards one of Olbermann's policy stances. We conservatives have constantly advocated for originalism and a strict reading of the actual text of the Constitution. We rightfully reject liberals assertions that the 2nd Amendment isn't relevant anymore and that the Commerce Clause is catch-all for expanding the federal government. So why are we now supposed to believe that the intent of the 14th Amendment to only cover slaves during the Reconstruction era somehow supersedes the text of the Amendment? It reeks of hypocrisy to reject the the liberal claim that the Constitution is a living and ever-evolving document, but then turn around and state that the 14th Amendment isn't relevant in today's world.
What is so difficult to understand about the sentence "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside"? Many conservatives get caught up on the "jurisdiction thereof" language, but the original authors and log of Congressional debate makes it clear it was added to exclude foreign dignitaries/ambassadors. In other words, if you are subject to the laws of the United States and the state you currently reside in, then the naturalized citizenship provision applies.
I'm fine with the GOP going back and attempting to amend the Constitution via the clearly outlined procedures required. However, it really makes me question the GOP's policy of strict interpretation of the Constitution when so many conservative politicians and media heads want to suddenly argue that we can't take the language of the 14th Amendment at face value. We haven't even voted them back into power yet, and it appears so many of them are willing to spit on the language of the Constitution.
It is all about the money, HoneySmacks. Illegals use anchor babies to get a foothold into this country and then raise said kids to think of Mexico first and send money to their poor relatives.
Or when they travel across the border looking for a decent job that should be reserved for Americans or immigrants that are here legally, they send whatever extra money that they earn, usually under the table, south to their relatives.
To the point, most illegals see the US as a way to get rich quick and send all of the money down south across the border.

The authors of the 14th amendment did not intend to have it cover non-immigrant foreigners in the US, and this means illegal immigrants are not covered, after all by being illegal you were default not under US jurisdiction. The supreme court case in 1898 ruled that children of legal immigrants to the US, even if they were not yet citizens, were under the 14th legal citizens, the court decision did not address illegals. It wasn't until 1980's that the court decided that illegal children also were given citizenship under the 14th.
To say that it is hypocritical to review the courts decision on the 14th is just not true. Many times in our history has the supreme court made a ruling that the legislatures then went back and changed, after all it was Dredd Scott that led to the 14th amendment.
This is a side note but I have not actually heard anyone calling for the repeal of the 14th. I know the libs and Olby claim people are but then they play clips of repubs calling for hearings on the 14th's meaning. The libs are obviously obfuscating the issue to hide their lies on what repubs really want.

Has he ever watched his show let alone his network. You don't even have to be a psychic to know what topics are going to be discussed on his show that night.
