Oh they don't allow their talent to insult each other over at (MS)NBC, do they? Perhaps they should remind the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann of that policy. As Glenn Beck's rally concluded Saturday, Oralmann was furiously tweeting away. First he bizarrely claimed that the rally was not apolitical:
There was a part of the rally where they were endorsing candidates and telling people whom to vote for ['who to vote for' is improper grammar, according to Olby a sign of low intellect]? Um, to put it simply, there was no such thing at the 8/28 event; it's Another Olbermann Lie. Then Olby went further off the deep end. He seemed almost pathologically invested in 'proving' that there were fewer than 100,000 people present.
Unfortunately for him, his own network didn't agree:
When someone pointed out to Oralmann that NBC estimate, Krazy Keith decided this will not stand on OlbyPlanet:
Actually, the Park Service estimated the Obama inauguration crowd, so "Bear" isn't telling the truth about that. And as for the idea that Chuck Todd lied in his report, then Brian Williams did too. Williams referenced the 300,000 number, and said it was an NBC News estimate! Hear for yourself via John Gibson:
Keith lies on top of lies, then claims it's Chuck Todd and Brian Williams who are the liars?!? Crazy Larry hosts tonight, but the infamous, deplorable one will have a special report on the 'Beckapocalypse'. Ooooh, that's must-miss teevee! Comments are open!
Expect a full on Beck smear/attack tonight. The main attack will be the crowd estimates. Olby will cite the CBS crowd estimate of 78,000 - 96,000 even though his own network and the NY Times cited 300,000 - 325,000. No one will ever know the true crowd size and it really doesn't matter. The rally was a huge success and it is a sign of things to come, especially this November. Olby is just a bitter, jealous person filled with hate and contempt. He knows his own ratings are in the tank. He knows he could never fill a bath tub let alone the National Mall if HE held a rally and will do anything to tear down the success of Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin.
So get ready folks...get ready for words and phrases like "failed rally, small crowd, over exaggerated crowd numbers, racist, hate monger, white power rally", ect. I just hope Olby's head doesn't explode from the hate...but then again....
The idiot hour staring Ed Shultz, had a Vanity Fair/ 60 minutes poll stating only 39% of Americans think Palin could be a effictive president. He's also pissed that Beck stated on Fox News Sunday that he's not thinking about running for president. Is Ed ever happy? You'd think he'd be doing cartwheels over Beck not running. That is if he could get his massive frame in a 360!

Oh man just what we need, an analysis from Daily Kos, who lobbied to get the rally cancelled completely, depriving survivors of soldiers some $5 million in benefits as a result.
That's called 'supporting the troops' in Kosville.
Speaking on behalf of Olbywatch, I authorize all our clear-headed readers to ignore the above link. I have spoken.

THAT'S called 'supporting the troops' in Kosville.
Keith Olbermann is not a good person. He is a petty, self absorbed, buffoon.
In response to the Beck rally he has done two things: try and knock Glenn Beck down, and try to prop himself up.
He has knocked the rally down with his "it was supposed to be apolitical" claim, and also his claim that the crowd was "tiny". Which is neither here nor there. 87,000 sounds like a pretty big number to me, but what do I know?
Anyway. Where Keith Olbermann really shows that he is a bad person is when he props himself up. He has propped himself up in 2 ways:
1) Bragging about his ratings. He has taken to repeating that his 1AM rerun gets more viewers than Beck's rally had attendees. It's a dishonest comparison, and also an example of Olbyocrisy because he constantly uses the "Cubs/Rays" analogy to make the point that something being popular doesn't imply quality. But he has now claimed on Twitter, that Glenn Beck's rally turnout means it was a failure.
2) He has bragged about the free health clinics. This is where Keith Olbermann really puts the fact that he is not a good person on display. When people do charitable things they are supposed to do them out of the goodness of their heart. Not Keith. He wants credit. He wants everyone to know that Glenn Beck had a rally, but that he, Keith Olbermann, helped the sick...and is therefore a better person.
It's fucking insane man. This guy needs mental help
Correct me if I'm wrong (and please remind me of the details...preferably with links) but didn't Olbermann once defend some columnist's position that the troops are mostly drugged up, brutish, rapist types?
You remember pretty well:

Somebody got sent to the tub. Crazy Larry is in the big boy chair.
Something is really wrong. Crazy Larry is doing the show from LA. This must really be last minute. A tub somewhere in NY is about to get cracked.
Ah! Thanx! I've been looking for that forever. I'll be sending those to some Olbyfans I'm trying to convert.
It is a pity that so many of the old videos were removed.
#2: The thing I feared since NBC Universal bought The Weather Channel two years ago: a Weather Channel on-camera meterologist (OCM) appearing on "Countdown." Paul Goodloe was on with the latest on Hurricane Earl. Okay, it was an apolitical segment, but it's "Countdown"!!!
What was the "behind the scenes at the Beckapocalypse" report KO tweeted about. Don't tell me fatass actually showed his face at the rally.
Just a FYI for readers...do NOT click on links from an unreliable source. Just like you would not open an e mail from someone you do not trust...God knows what viruses/malware that link could contain.
Bill Press commenting about the Beck rally? Really? You mean the same Bill Press that said, ""If you ask me, that's like granting al Qaeda permission to hold a rally on September 11 - at Ground Zero. What the hell were those bureaucrats at the Park Service thinking?"
Wow, a talk show host holds a rally at the Lincoln Memorial and Press equates it to al Qaeda and 9/11?
Bravo MSNBC, bravo.
I think he's accusing Beck of being racist or a member of the Klan. It's ridiculous either way.
When Bill Press was on CNN Sunday spewing that crap, even Howard Kurtz told him he was out of line.
All of MSNBC was going off the rails today about the rally orders have come down from the White House, destroy Beck at all costs!
Meanwhile over at The Factor. BOR had Beck on in the first segment, and then had Sharpton on in the second segment.
Olbermann could never pull that off
Olby's brief appearance tonight was a real head scratcher. Apparently reading Beck's speech in a really crappy English accent constitutes some form of humor?
I also got a kick out of Crazy Larry asking Bill Press "So how many people at the mall were actually there to hear the Beck speech?" along with the calling the crowd at the Beck rally "not much more than the basic flow through traffic of tourists." Blah blah blah FOX NEWS SET IT UP!!!
At least Crazy Larry continued the Countdown tradition of quoting unknown Internet bloggers as reputable sources to question "what God Glenn Beck really believes in." We also had both Bill Press and Crazy Larry declaring that Christians shouldn't like Glenn Beck because apparently Christians hate Mormons. I'm not joking about that one either, I'm not sure if they were insulting Mormons, Evangelicals, or both. Who knows what audience they were aiming for with that wide ranging smear.
MSNBC...the PLACE for RELIGIOUS STEREOTYPING
After watching Olbermanns "brief appearance" tonight, it makes one wonder how in the hell does this man get a job? And what was with the flip flops and glasses. It was horrible and then showing off his chest hair and that british accent, it was just terrible.
You know Beck is going to rip him a new one tomorrow on his radio show, along with Matthews and Ed Shultz, it's not going to be pretty that's for sure.
I don't have a recap comment, just a schooling of Keith. Within days after the 2008 election Keith proclaimed that the news media was not in the tank for Obama but it turned out that the electorate was in the tank for Obama. Let's see...53% of the electorate voted for Obama...88% of the employees of the major networks gave campaign contributions to Obama and the democrats. THAT is the definition of 'in the tank'. Combine that with the favorable coverage that those networks and their employees gave Obama during the campaign and you have irrefutable proof that the news media was in the tank for Obama.
ENOUGH! RESIGN!

This is the 326th day since the current President was awarded the Nobel Peace prize.
When Glynnis McNichol and Mediaite trash you, the guy at this point is just getting creepier & creepier.
http://www.mediaite.com/online/sour-grapes-anyone-keith-olbermann-pretends-to-be-voice-behind-glenn-beck/
It's still not as ridiculous as the time he tried to make fun of Sarah Palin because she wrote notes on her hand for a speech. I didn't know until that point that writing notes on your hand was some sort of capital crime on olbyplanet.
Flashback to Friday: Geno Robinson dismissed Dr. Alveda King as a Beck "figurehead or puppet":
"Just that she becomes a very convenient figurehead or puppet or whatever you want to call her for Beck’s view. She’s a fundamentalist, very conservative Christian. That’s how she would describe herself. She’s estranged from the rest of the King family, and from the keepers of his legacy. She has her own, they believe that gay marriage is genocide, and that’s who she is. And so she’ll be there. And they’ll make a whole lot of the fact that an actual relative of Dr. King is there at the march speaking."
So, Keith and Larry doesn't like people of faith. God doesn't exist in their minds, cause government is superior to god. There can be no athourity higher than Obama.
Shameless. Totally shameless.
MSNBC allows their Commentators (Matthews, Schutz, Olbermann and Maddow) to MOCK God ... even allowing a comic video sketch to be aired with Keith Olbermann playing God trying to poke fun at someone who wishes to be guided in his words by God. It is disgusting! I doubt they would play it the same way if it were an Islamic attempt at trying to encourage unity.
I used to think at least that Matthews was free of this type of thinking but have been sorely disappointed with him in the last week.
MSNBC should be ashamed ... and I were God be punished. But, I guess everyone should be glad I am not God and don't think so highly of myself. I just wish something could be done to let the people at NBC know how disgusting it is.

Olby Tweets:

Irony-
@keitholbermann Man do you ever get sick of the ad hominem ad populum's? Ping "Beck is better because," pong "Rays.." Ping offtopic! #fail
@wspano I get tired of something as irrelevant to quality or honesty as ratings being thrown all the time, like monkeys throw feces, yes.
@KeithOlbermann Ha. I can hear Girardi: "I get tired of people worrying about things like wins. blah blah.
@boomscott we just concluded a free health clinic in NOLA. Our ninth. Bigger "win" than any egomaniacal self-aggrandizing rally
So Olby is saying that Beck screwed up the Washington Mounment story.... BECAUSE OLBY SAID SO? Am I getting this straight?
First a anti-death health care update, from the grace of Olbermann and his God, Obama!
Now we're suffering through Oddball.
Let me take this opportunity to do a little housecleaning. Thursday I'll be taking a rare day off (which is puzzling since I don't have a job) from WPITW. It will be a celebration of my 42nd Birthday and will be enjoying dinner with my mom. So, I might get the 10pm repeat, but 8pm looks unlikely.
And Keith starts the celebration with a new segment, Saint Beck! And Glenn made a error, which is a crime punishable by death on Olby Planet. And I'm going to call Bullshit on Olby's claim. Anyway I can return this gift? I would rather have a nude pic of Mariska Hargitay. How many new butcherings of Beck's name are we going to have to sit through?
I already miss Tea Time.
Get out your birthday cakes (which I can not have) and funny birthday cards (make sure money is in them), it's the WPITW abstract.
Bronze: Some criminal for going to a Toby Keith concert.
Silver: SISTER SARAH! For attacking Olby, MSNBC and making a rookie twitter error. OFF WITH HER HEAD!!!! She invoke the singer Beck for Glenn Beck. Remember NO MISTAKES ON OLBY PLANET
GOLD: Louie Gohmer: for for mixing up his numbers.
Another Award Winning Countdown to no ratings.
Haters of Glenn Beck, Hold your toasts and patting each other on the back, as the spin by KO tonight (8/31) is yet another "gotcha moment" that is pulled from history, but exaggerated in exclusion to actual fact.
The act that KO talked about is only one fact of a very contentious era (1848-1860) that led to the beginning of construction of the WM and its halt in 1854.
Many Washington DC citizens became dissatisfied with the work (The "Know-Nothings included) ... and the collection of donated funds lagged at $87,000 (due largely because of political and economic strife). This ... and ... the growing antagonism between the North and South, resulting in the Civil War, brought construction to a halt.
Construction began again in 1880 after the economic and political shock because of the Civil War had subsided. It was dedicated on February 21, 1885, and opened to the public on October 9, 1888
It's sad that Liberals have to stretch so far to try to discredit GB and vilify his effort to unite the country the way that they are trying to do. The smugness of KO tonight in twisting this story (even though he probably only read it tonight from his teleprompter for the first time) goes to show the lengths that they will go to in keeping what power they think have and are afraid of losing.
I believe Olby's source for his Beck gotcha was the L.A. Times Culture Monster blog.
Thanks to the video transcript on MSNBC.com here is what Rev. Olbermoronn spouted in his new Hate Beck segment (it was transcribed in all lowercase):
>>> revealed himself to be not a commentator but a prophet, not a shock jock but a televangelist, we say howdy to the modern elmer gantry, and welcome you to the first edition of "st. beck as in reck." amy simple mcbeck, elmer beck tree, whichever one he is, from time to time we'll point out his more egregious points of fact and faith. the first thing ted haggard will tell you, st. beckus is, don't lie to the flock.
>> if you look at the washington monument, you might notice its scars. but nobody talks about that. but a quarter of the way up, it changes color. did you know that it did? look at it. look at its scars. how did the scar get there? they stopped building it in the civil war. and when the war was over, they began again. no one sees the scars of the washington memorial, the washington monument.
>> sorry about that, tammy faye becker, in fact, per the national parks service, the quarterstone of the washington monument was laid on the fourth of july, 1848 and stones were contributed by many world leaders. when a stone was donated by the pope, an anti-political, anti-immigrant movement called the no-nothing party stole the stone and threw it in the river. and then they gained control of the crew building the monument and congress withdrew all funding. they bought their own cheap stones that were so bad they had to be removed. and three years before the civil war began, construction of the washington monument was abandoned. sorry about that. it wasn't until 1879 after the defeat that destruction was resumed using marble from a different quarry. the color change in the washington monument, bishop fulton j. beck has nothing to do with the civil war, it owes to the hatred of immigrants by the no-nothings. teach your sheep about that, father gregory vivovich rispute beck.
And he calls himself a newsman? I don't recall Tom Brokaw repeatedly namecalling someone he disagreed with. That's a talk radio move; something you'd hear from people like Ed Schultz and Mike Malloy. It didn't stop on the Hour of Spin. Twittermann reached out to his OlbyLoon followers to come up with more name suggestions for the Beckmeister. As of now, he retweeted one OlbyLoon's suggestions. And as you throw names out for Glenn, we'll keep throwing out names to use for you.

Besides Ed Shultz (to a lesser degree), I do not recall ever hearing anyone on TV that has had this much deep seeded hatred for another human being. I could accept a few cheap shots but to go to these lengths day after day is very disturbing. Someone needs to keep a close eye on Olby...he could go postal at any minute.
I am sure we are all watching this hostage situation at the discovery channel and for those that missed it here is the "manifesto" from the suspect:
http://michellemalkin.com/2010/09/01/hostage-situation-at-discovery-channel/
So after reading that can there be any doubt this guy is a far-left nutjob? Will Olbermann report it as such tonight or will he ignore it? Personally I think he will only mention this part "Immigration: Programs must be developed to find solutions to stopping ALL immigration pollution and the anchor baby filth that follows that. Find solutions to stopping it." and then blame Glenn Beck and Fox News for "fomenting hate in Amerikkka."
Don't you worry Pewp, by 8pm, this guy will be a icon of the left. A right wing wacko who thinks guns solve all problems! The MSNBC Nazi Youth will make this guy a product of Beck and Bill-0, someone driven to the edge by Bristol Palin being on 'Dancing with the Stars'.
A better early birthday present, I couldn't ask for.
Olberman will probably defend the Discovery Channel wacko, say that he was driven to do what he did by Fox News, and that the police acted like Nazi's for shooting the guy dead. The police will probably be the Worst Person, etc. Then he'll read parts of the manifesto, and say how the guy was a "big fan" of Countdown.
