I don't think it's fair to call Olbermann the "professional left". Look at the journolist leaks involving Olbermann. The "professional left" basically see Olbermann as a joke. Let me pontificate for a minute.
*dramatic camera angle switch*
You see, Olbermann is a joke on the left. The left doesn't want to be spoonfed left talking points, well most of them don't (and hence Olby's terrible rating). They want to see progressive commentators bring on conservatives and then tear them apart. It doesn't matter who the conservative is, he could be the most ignorant and inarticulate person you can find, so long as he believes something you disagree with. The problem is that Obly is the most ignorant and inarticulate person you can find so it's impossible for him to find someone lower on the political knowledge scale then himself, right or left.
*dramatic camera angle switch*
Therefore I contend that Olbermann is not the "professional left". He does not rank high enough to fill that spot. People like Maddow and Matthews are more able to claim the "professional left" title because they at least have debates, sometimes civil, sometimes not. To the political left, Olbermann is nothing more than an albatross hanging around their neck. I believe they prefer having someone like O'Reilly for an enemy then Olbermann for a friend.
*dramatic camera angle switch*
As long as Olbermann is nothing more then a depot of talking points he will never rise to the level where anyone in the current democratic ruling class will take notice of him. Do you doubt that? If so look at what politicians he has on his show, the crack pots and crazies like Weiner, Kucinich and Grayson. Meanwhile Pelosi, Reid and Obama save themselves for the other shows on MSNBC.
*dramatic camera angle switch*
So no, Olbermann is not the "professional left". He's not even a convinving "amateur left". He's a joke and only the people who are so insecure in their political believes will watch his show because they know they will never be forced to think about why they support an issue or be faced with a view that opposes their believes.
*dramatic camera angle switch*
And so I say to you, Mr. Olbermann, I am truelly, dreadfully sorry that you will never be considered important enough to be considered the "professional left". Perhaps sir, it is time for you to admit this to yourself and slip off into the obscurity you so rightfully deserve.
*dramatic facial expression, or maybe constipation, who knows, they both look the same*
19% unemployment? lol. No. Most projections show that without the stimulus unemployment would have reached as high as....(dramatic pause)...10.8%.
There's absolutely no basis for that 19% claim. Keith made it up.
As for the car companies failing, I say let them fail. Propping up failing business models does not make us economically better off. Let them fail, and restructure themselves. Of course, that would also require re-negotiating union contracts.
Of course he made it up! He has no proof that unemployment would ever go above 7 with McCain, and if it did, there would be cries of 'IMPEACHMENT' from Olby. Do I know that for a fact? No. But seeing how Olby worships the ground Obama walks on, and how he hates anyone who is a true conservative, it's a easy guess to make.
You just knew he'd throw in something about retiring KTLA's Stan Chambers on how he put up with a young Olbermann, geez is it always about Keith? So narrassitc. Waiting to see what he says the baseball player from the Pirates, he'll probably say he gave him his first glove or something stupid.
regarding of #3... SOME NEW YORKERS? SOME!!??! Sure, if by 'some' you mean at least 80% of New Yorkers (and I'm being conservative). And you notice how Keithy-poo and Mr. Ellison (his slave name, I don't know his Muslim name) will defend the religion of war(that's what I call Islam, until they can prove they support peace) to the end, but stop at nothing to attack Christianity.
No that's not your health insurance bill going thru the roof, it's your daily check up on the Medicaid for everybody crowd..... (wait for it)...... TEE TIME! (now with Retsin)
Tonight's tea is served to Nelson Joesph King. An Idol of Keith. And how he help Keith. So to you Mr. King, FU%% YOU!!! Because of you, we have the worst broadcaster in the world. Thanks heaps! Hope you and Theo are spending some time together.... IN HELL!
Get out your Banner Ads and Torahs, it's the WPITW abstract.
Great, he ties in The Kids in The Hall to HCR? Way to go Keith.
Bronze- Traffic Markings for being supid signs (spelling intended), bashes privatistion.
Silver- Bill-O, for attacking Jennifer Aniston for her stand about no fathers. Remember Bill-o can't have a differing opinion for a hollywood actress. Then says that Bill is a victim of a abusive dad, so he wants all kids to be abused by their fathers. Keith-Logic at it's finest.
GOLD- Brent Bozell- For Jon Stewart and Comedy Central's fight about the Islamic mosque. So since CC got it right once, they are supposed to get a lifetime past from Conservative? And newsbusters on their worst day is better than Media Matters or Kos on their best.
More on gold, So the two Keiths spend 5 minutes proping up Islam and attacking someone's differing opion on it. But you attack Christianity and a Christian for point out kowtowing to Islam? Really, professionalism to the max.
Another award winning countdown to my mental breakdown
"One president prevents a financial meltdown; gets tepid thanks. The other president doesn't prevent a terrorist attack, gets worship and blind allegiance because he didn't allow another one."
Ya know, some people have bad short term memories, but Olbermann really takes the cake here. Bush got worship and blind allegiance? From who? Nobody. Bush had critics every where. On the left, on the right, in the center. The guy was not worshipped with blind allegiance. I realize the Bush administration was a long time ago...I mean it was like 3 or 4 years since Obama took over, right? Oops, I mean 1 and a half. My bad.
Meanwhile, Obama didn't prevent a financial meltdown. He just helped the government prop up failing industries for another couple of years. Eventually, they'll run out of TARP money and be back at the government pig trough looking for more money. And they'll get it again, don't want to slow down recovery, ya know.....
Is it just me or does it seem hypocritical for Olbermann to attack Ken Buck for talking about the traditions of the constitution and then having Rep. Keith Willison on and agreeing with him about the virtues of the traditions of the constitution?
Also what's with the Ken Buck and high heels attack? If MCDAWUSS is still around how does this fit into your world view that Keith presents the complete issue before he comments on it?
Did I just hear David Weigel say that democrats are telling reporters what questions to ask republicans? I wonder why "journalist" Keith didn't question him on that.
Has anyone here ever heard of Bill Fisher or the American Family Association? Why does Olby get to decide who the "most influential right-wing groups" are?
I don't think it has been a good idea to watch this crap before I go to bed.
Olby name drops like he's the king
like everyone in the world kisses his ring
his depends must be too tight
its cut off blood flow to his brain
when can we declare him legally insane ???
How much pleasure do you think Oralmann gets in personally attacking his Olbsession, especially when he invokes Bill's late father? I'd say it makes you want to slap your TV or computer monitor, but then Keith would say those are violence fantasies [Ding!]. Meanwhile, he can use *his* late father as a political football. Olbypocrisy? You make the call.
Monkeymann always does this: he dismisses the substance of an "O'Reilly Factor" segment discussion and goes after the host or guests. Jennifer Aniston doesn't want you in her corner, Fat Ass.
Meanwhile, here are some "Factor" viewer e-mails that addressed the *substance*:
Stacey Belnap, Murray, UT: "Jennifer Aniston is wrong. My parents divorced when I was young and I missed not having a father."
Chris Angelini, New York City: "According to the Census, the poverty rate in single parent households is 36%. In homes with two parents it is 6%."
Laura Groseth, Las Vegas, NV: "I'm a single mom with two kids who love O'Reilly, Beck and Fox News. In a perfect world, two parents are needed. But I think I've done a good job with a deadbeat dad situation."
Ann Lawson, Asheboro, NC: "And Jennifer Aniston's child rearing experience stems from ... ?"
Do these viewers have daddy issues, too, as the prophet Marvin Kitman writ?
"Billo [Ding!] versus Jennifer Aniston on the necessity of fathers. The sad truth from O'Reilly's past that explains this over the top reaction.
...
The runner up, Billo [Ding!], unhappy that out promoting Jason Bateman's [OlbyFriend] new film about a woman turning to artificial insemination and raising a child on her own called 'The Switch,' Jennifer Aniston said—oh, it's Jennifer Aniston's new film? I'm sorry. Anyway, she said ...
Blowhole [Ding!] O'Reilly replied, (Ted Baxter voice?): 'she's throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that hey, you don't need a guy; you don't need a dad. That is destructive to our society. ... The fathers who try hard are underappreciated and diminished by people like Jennifer Aniston.' He then ordered her to appear on his show. There's been a lot of amateur psychoanalysis of what O‘Reilly is doing this time. If you've read Marvin Kitman's autobiography or biography of O'Reilly, it's pretty simple. Virtually every reference O'Reilly makes to his own father describes how the man hit, slapped, punched him. As Kitman put it, simply, 'O'Reilly has a history of physical abuse from his father.' It is actually very sad."
What's truly sad is that you, sir, would stoop as low as you did...again. But you can bring up your father and use him weekly to prop up an overrated writer and tout Obamacare?
And as usual, Herr Olbermahn took our humble correspondent out of context. I know, shocking, right? Let's consult the LexisNexis transcript:
O'REILLY: I want to be fair about this, because there have -- there are many -- there are millions of single mothers who do a great job raising their kids.
[MARGARET] HOOVER: Do a great job.
O'REILLY: And they're abandoned and they're all kinds -- and they do. It's possible. But it's not optimum, and that's where Ms. Aniston makes her mistake. That she's throwing a message out to 12-year- olds and 13-year-olds, OK, that, hey, you don't need a guy. You don't need a Dad. Dad, ah, you know. That's destructive to our society.
[GRETCHEN] CARLSON: Because it's -- it's tough to be a parent. I know. I have two kids at home, and trust me, I'm glad every day that I have a husband to help me with the hard work of being a parent.
However, here's the alarming statistic: 36 percent of all babies born in the U.S. now are born to single mothers.
O'REILLY: Yes. They don't -- right.
CARLSON: Thirty-six percent. But -- and young people, you're right. They do not have the cognitive ability...
O'REILLY: I don't like this trend.
CARLSON: ... to know the difference of a 40-year-old woman who's financially stable having a child...
O'REILLY: Yes.
CARLSON: ... and a 16-year-old girl.
O'REILLY: Aniston can hire a battery of people to help her, but she cannot hire a dad. OK? And Dads bring a psychology to children that is, in this society, I believe, underemphasized. I think men get hosed all day long in the parental arena.
HOOVER: Do you think they've earned it? Because I've got to tell you, of the 30 percent of single families, a full two thirds of them - - no, I'm sorry, a full 80 percent of them are single families that are run by mothers, not fathers.
O'REILLY: And any man who leaves their children is not a man.
CARLSON: Well...
O'REILLY: OK? Let's make that perfectly clear. But the fathers who do try hard are underappreciated and diminished by people like Jennifer Aniston.
HOOVER: Well, I think Jennifer Aniston is simply making a point. I agree she's glamorizing single parenthood.
O'REILLY: Diminishing -- no.
HOOVER: She's glamorizing single parenthood, diminishing two- parent households.
O'REILLY: Diminishing the role of the dad.
CARLSON: She is. But we don't know if it's because she is that person...
O'REILLY: I don't think why it is. If she wants to explain it, she can get her butt right in here. All right, Jennifer?
HOOVER: With that kind of invitation I'm sure she's on her way.
O'REILLY: OK. You know, I don't care, to tell you the truth.
Wow. Did it sound like Mr. Bill was ordering Jen to appear? Uh, no. Another Olbermann Lie.

Something I just learned:
Asking the government to enforce the law = polarizing
Threatening white people and saying that Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Colorado, Utah and Nevada should be part of Mexico = tolerance
