In case you're wondering why the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann is on a steep trajectory to irrelevance, you have only to consider the Big Stories he will break on tonight's Hour of Spin. Examples:
Friday's Hour of Spin, the Keith "Man on Fan" Checklist:
Comments are open!
Come on, Johnny. Olby has gone to Cornell*. If anyone knows about pristigous colleges it's the man from Cornell *!
*= Cow.
Tonight's Journalistic reach around goes out to Meg Whitman!!! For house-keeper-gate!!! Which Ms. Whitman has already debunked.
Like when you dentist runs out of Novocain during that pesky root canal.... IT'S THE WPITW abstract.
Bronze: Judge Hostuss (Of Intercourse PA) for the sin of stuffing condoms in nuts. Why, I don't know? At least it's safe sex.
Silver: Meg Whitman- for the sin of pissing off Gloria Alred. Ms. Whitman has already denied this. And if you believe Gloria Alred, you are a idiot.
GOLD!!: Tom Corburn- for the sin of seeking acoutablility for the money being sent to Haiti. For Keith to send the money to Haiti is fine and dandy cause he knows that no one will steal it. Thank GOD that Mr. Corburn wants to MAKE SURE THE MONEY GETS TO THOSE IT IS SUPPOSED TO HELP!!! God knows how much of the dough that American citizens sent there went to warlords and not victims. But Keith thinks it's better to trust mad men than be responsible. In short Keith.... FUCK YOU!
Off to watch CSI and The Mentalist.
See you later.
Olby Week in Review
I'm still waiting for him to tell everyone to call in and vote against Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars. Especially since mom Sarah was in the studio cheering for her. This is certainly newsworthy on Olby planet, certainly more than the Democrats losing Congress.
Olby on Whitman: "Perhaps this will refresh your memory ... Just say oops. Just say oops and get out." Earlier, "Carl 'The Truth' Paladino." What are the odds Jerry Brown and/or Andrew Cuomo show up on the Hour of Spin before Election Day? Whether they do or not, I'm sure they'll telling the slovenly political hack: "Great Thanks. We couldn't win without you."
Correction: they'll tell.
Sorry for no worsts tonight. Had a rare night out. Will do better next week. But who says we can't have any Friday fun?
VIDEO OF THE WEEK!!!! The official song of Olby Watch... Cee Lo Green with F**K YOU!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pc0mxOXbWIU
Get out the DVD player, have Rick Sanchez clean up while Rachel's doing her show and put in the 48 hour loop of prison style. IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!! Looks like we made it. I'll do a proper worsts during the weekend. Just not feeling it tonight. So any other gems of brilliance, I'll share them here. If not, see you Monday and Let's be careful out there.
Then I'll do it, but first...
#5A: Video title: "Is the end near for the Tea Party?" Olbermoronn hopes so, and so did Steve Hildebrand.
#5B: Video title: "Tea Party throws caution to the wind": Geno Robinson continued the hoping for the end for the Tea Party.
#4: Video title: "Replacing Emanuel." The Wolffe Man dropped by.
Tweet me nice.
Oddball.
#3: Hating religion uncontested.
#2: The Media Matters Minute sponsored by the One Nation rally tomorrow in our nation's capital. Tonight, the eeevil O'Reilly spoke to two of the people that will be there.
Worse was irrelevant.
Worser was Rick Sanchez. "Bye, Rick. Fired at 6PM."
Worst was Rupert Murdoch (again?). Like J$ said, the Chamber of Commerce was turned into "a radical right organization." Blue blog source: The New York Times. "That's not just a donation. It's a kickback." Clip of Darth Sidious from "Star Wars: Episode III" used to portray Murdoch: "... I am the Senate." Wait, didn't Harry Reid say that?
#1: Thurber Bowl Number Whatever.
Did Keith celebrate the end of Sanchez's career? So can we celebrate his firing when Olby gets that call?
I only skimmed through the video, so I don't know everything that was said. But absolutely, we can celebrate Olby's firing if that ever happens. If Barry Nolan can be fired from CN8 in New England and Rick Sanchez can be fired from CNN, surely Keith can be fired, too. Right, Phil Griffin?
According to Mediaite, yes, he celebrated. Glenn Davis--no relation to Glen with one "n," AKA Big Baby--writes:
"Keith Olbermann ... dropped the hammer on '[his] old back-up host,' awarding Sanchez 'Worser' on 'Worst Person in the World' and punctuating it with an unceremonious, 'Bye Rick.'" Since I don't have the stomach to watch WPitW in full, I'll take Davis' word.
Odd message from Keith on Twitter. In response to someone saying something about cats and dogs, Keith responded:
""I love both. I have that ability to communicate with both. I just can't be indoors with either. A frustration only since 1962""
Ability to communicate with both cats and dogs? What does he mean by that? Seems an odd thing to say.
Don't people talk to cats and dogs all the time? And don't they respond in either non-verbal or non-intelligible ways?
Yes, but that seemed an odd phrasing. That would just mean he has the ability to speak in the presence of an animal. I think everyone with the ability to speak has that "ability". Doubt he'd make special mention to let people know that he has the ability to talk. We all know he does.
And I recall some sort of rumor about Keith Olbermann and Laura Ingraham's dog.
When is MSNBC going to replace Olberdork with Sanchez? They are obviously going to hire Sanchez, it's only a matter of time. What Sanchez said is tame compared to the things Olbermoron says on a daily basis.
Okay, how much do you want to bet that the rally at the mall yesterday will make Olby say that it was more successful than Beck's?
