Olby back after a 4-day long weekend with pay, Worst Persons reinstated right on schedule, so OlbyPlanet is back to abnormal. What's on the docket for tonight? Watching Bones. But if you're stuck with Oralmann, this is what you will be suffering through:
Friday's Hour of Spin:
The great big fat blob declares that if you are a republican opposed to raising taxes in a weak economy then you should not live in this country.
ENOUGH! RESIGN!
--
This is the 406th day since the current President was awarded the Nobel Peace prize.
Like a broken record, IT'S THE NOT REALLY THE WORST PERSONS ABSTRACT!!
Bronze: Bonnie Usher for being a stupid criminal.
Silver: Roger Alies- for dissing Jon Stewart and using the word 'nazi' about calling out NPR for what they are. Only Keith can use that word and disagree with Stewart.
GOLD!!!: John Bohener and Lindsay Graham for calling out the FAILED civilian trials of Khaliani. Again, the closet muslim Olby defends his brothers.
Another crappy countdown!
Via the Olby-Friendly Mediaite, whom I won't link to, here's a recap of Herr Olbermahn's Ailes Attack:
"Prov[ed] my point about false equivalence [Ding!]. ... Jon, I told you so. I mean, I might disagree with you, but I'd never think you were crazy or hateful. But Maher is right! One side sticks to the facts, and the other side is close to playing with its poop." Yes, Herr Olbermahn hails the Almighty Maher. Then, the Nazi part. Here's why didn't I link to Mediaite: the writer said he thought Ailes deserved King Olbermoronn's cheap shots. If you side with Keith Olbermann, you have outed yourself politically. One Mediaite writer did so on Twitter Monday night by lauding Merkle's Special Ed Komment, and this other writer did so tonight.
At the end of the Howard Fineman interview Olby stated about Republicans:
"They don't live in this world, they don't live in this country, and I think we'd be better off if they didn't live in this country but that's my opinion".
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keith, who exactly is "we"? It certainly isn't the voters in America because they voiced their opinion about the Democratic leadership on Nov. 2nd.
Secondly, it is you, sir, that doesn't live in the real world. You have to be a complete idiot not to see what the tax and spend liberals are doing this country. The Republicans see it, the voters see it but you obviously have no clue.
I would tell you to join us in the real world but I'm afraid you went off the deep end a long time ago.
brad90956 "Secondly, it is you, sir, that doesn't live in the real world. You have to be a complete idiot not to see what the tax and spend liberals are doing this country. The Republicans see it, the voters see it but you obviously have no clue."
Amen to that brother! I'm no economic genuis, but it seems to be as clear as the nose on my face. The liberals can't seem to see the actual cause and effect of taxing and spending. Our poor will actually be in worse shape in the end! What world are these liberals living in? I guess Olby world.
That quote almost sounds like Olberdork is wishing all the Republicans were dead. Creepy. Unfortunately for him, we intend to live in this country for a long, long, time.
What was that line about FNC "playing with it's own poop"?
What's with Keith and the colon?
Has Keith ever outlined what limit he would feel is appropriate for unemployment benefits?
Does he acknowledge that unemployment benefits are a disincentive to work?
Basically, my question is, does he believe unemployment benefits should be limited at all? And if so, where?
He seems to take the position that those who are on my side of the aisle, need to leave the country. But it should be noted, my side of the aisle does not view the unemployed as lazy. That is not the reason to limit unemployment. We view the unemployed as rational. If the government sets up a scenario where the rational choice would be to remain unemployed for a bit longer, rather than busting your ass to get a job....that is not a policy I will support.
I do think we need some safety net to help with shocks to the labor market, however...we are far past any rational policy on the subject of unemployment. You can't just keep extending it.
Olby Week in Review
MSNBC IS A JOKE - "Suspends" Scarborough for 2 days for political donations: http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/msnbc_suspends_joe_scarborough_for_vVWxYgxSdbnz8RTC2p1liJ

What's with Keith and the colon?"
From Wikipedia "Olbermann suffers from a mild case of celiac disease,[91] as well as restless legs syndrome.[6] In August 1980, he also suffered a head injury while "leaping" onto the NYC subway.[92] This head injury permanently upset his equilibrium, resulting in his avoidance of driving.[6]"
I think the head injury explains ALOT OF THINGS.
BTW, Shouldn't EVERYONE at MSHIT be on suspension by now? I may have been born during the day, BUT NOT YESTERDAY! You cannot tell me that other than these 2 schmucks over at MSHIT no other "journalists lol" DID NOT contribute to politicians? I will guarantee you Sgt. Schultz gave $$$$$ to Harry Reid, Jim Clyburn, and Tarryl Clark (If he didnt spend it at an all you can eat buffet).
Their thinking: "FNCers did it first. Therefore, so can we. We are legitimate. They are not."
A whole family? REALLY KEITH? Is this how you are going to push for lifetime unemployment benefits? How low can you sink?
Like when the site administrator has to moderate my "video of the week" post (what gives?), IT'S THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD ABSTRACT!!!
Bronze: Landon Berse: for being stupid.
Silver: Rick DeGaren for the sin of defending the INNOCENT Tom DeLay. HOW DARE HE!
GOLD!!!: GWB: for the sin of the lack of WMD. Two years Keith! LET IT GO!
Of course this is nothing more than jealosy on Olby's part. His book isn't cracking the Amazon to 1 million and Bush's is #1.
Plug in the DVD player and get the prison documentaries ready, and make sure Rachel tips the janitor, Rick Sanchez when she locks up 30 Rock! IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!! Looks like we made it. Might post from dialysis tomorrow. If I get any nuggets of wisdom, I'll post them. If not, see you on Monday and Let's be careful out there.
Should I presume that Olby neglected to mention Ailes issued an apology for the Nazi remark almost as soon as he had made it?

How far will Olbermann stoop
For ratings that he can't recoup
Countdown journalese
Plus Celiac disease
Produce a hackneyed nincompoop
"Produce a hackneyed nincompoop" that is now fascinated and obsessed with the phrase "close to playing with his poop"
Next week, expect Olby to go all out on Alan West. Today on Meet the Press, West gave The Wolfeman a wedgie and took his lunch money. Olby will not let this stand.
Once again, the latest edition of Fox Haters Week in Review!

"make sure Rachel tips the janitor" - Huh? I thought Madcow WAS the janitor.

They hired Rick Sanchez to be the new janitor. But Rachel still has to lock out.
Interesting radio perspective as it happened:

One of the many contributing factors of getting my degree in History and Poli/Sci. It sounds so bizarre.
