If you get a chance, and I know it is hard, watch the repeat of Thrills Matthews show between 7:20 and 7:25pm EST. I cannot believe what he said about FDR and Social "In"Security. Basically he said that FDR and the Democrats' Social Security program was genius, because it mandated people to pay into it, but the FDR-led Gov't wasn't betting at that time that the people were going to even live past the age of 65 back then. With the advancement of medicine and Technology throughout the years, people are living into their 80's and 90's now, and THAT is the problem. People these days are getting 20 to 30 years of SSI checks. Now Thrills, do you want the Gov't to institute death panels for people over the age of 67 now so they cannot receive ANY SSI checks and have it go straight to the GOVT to spend on anything and everything that SSI TAXES ARE NOT MEANT TO BE SPENT ON??????? When I saw Chris Hayes at the beginning of the show I thought wow, did Olbermann have liposuction? They made Hayes look like a mini-Olbermann.
