And for the record I don't think anyone here is too concerned about someone buying Olbermann's book.

The ads are created based on key-words that appear on the site. Therefore a sight about Olbermann will naturally pull ads about Olbermann, good and bad. This is a mindless algorithm that website administrators have little control over.

That explains it. Olby was attacking Paladino during the campaign, so anti-Paladino and/or pro-Cuomo ads popped up. We talk about "Pitchforks & Torches," ads for that pop up. We bring up his Special Ed Komments on the tax cut extension compromise, an ad from Bold Progressives pops up. In fact, I see that ad right now.
It also explains why Fox and Goldline ads found their way on to Newshounds. They bash FNC (including Glenn Beck) and FBN constantly.

As a devoted follower of this site for several years now I have not been reading the comments lately as has been my custom since discovering the site due to the uptick in profanity from the likes of certain newcomers. Don't get me wrong, I'm not offended by the language itself; I just could not stand to see this site turn into a refuge for uncreative white trash rednecks...and I'm sorry but that is just how certain poster have been coming across and it has turned me away from here for a while.
