I found another post by ryanhippftw telling everyone that Comcast had nothing to do with canning Olbermann. I could be wrong but it looked like another quote from the mighty TVNewser.
Hey, ryanhippftw, when you post after everyone's done in a topic do you say to yourself "HAHAHAHAHA I told those f******,"?
Leave it to Olbermann to completely misstate the conservative argument on the health care bill. He made a few tweets this afternoon, saying that conservatives are hypocrites because we accept the car insurance mandate solely due to the fact it is state mandated, and not federal. I don't know a single conservative who has ever made this argument, it seems to only pop up when liberals want to ignore the fact that people aren't required to drive a car.
If MK is still lurking around here, I challenge him to find a single conservative who supports the mandate on a state, but not federal level.
"I challenge him to find a single conservative who supports the mandate on a state, but not federal level."
I'm a conservative and I see no problem with State level mandates to have health insurance. That's the right of the State and unless it violates a right given by the constitution then the State has that power. If a person doesn't like the rules in one State then they can move to another, this is not true when it is done at the state level.
For reference capital S states are the 50 States and lower s state is the federal state.
Basically the beauty of the constitution is that we can have 50 different micro-governments and a person can pick the one that best suits them.
The better argument for the car insurance versus health insurance argument is that no one has to buy a car and therefore doesn't have to buy car insurance. I do not have the same option when it comes to living.
The car insurance argument is asinine... but what would you expect from a miserable failure like Olbermahn? He's lost both parents, his live-in whore, and his job... all in the span of 2 years. Not to mention that ratings are HIGHER since he was fired. Karma bites, huh Olby?
I know everyone ignored what Alan Colmes said in that video but the fact remains there is always a spike when something like this occurs. If it lasts more than another week or so I'd be surprised.
Hilarious! You think Madcow will do like Olberdork? Just ignore it, not make any correction, claim she never said it in the first place, and then blame Fox News for making up stories about her?
Funny, I seem to remember that not too long ago Fox News viewers being lambasted by the left as a bunch of naive twits based on the fact that a few anonymous posters under a Fox Nation article seemingly took a satirical piece literally. Something like that.
"I don't know a single conservative who has ever made this argument, it seems to only pop up when liberals want to ignore the fact that people aren't required to drive a car."
To me this whole thing about car insurance is nothing more than a red herring. The Federal Government CANNOT force its citizens to purchase auto insurance or punish those with IRS penalties who did not. Also, citizens of each state can price shop auto insurance to get the best price. These assholes ONLY WANT GOVERNMENT to control who gets what.
Remember, The Hefty One doesn't even drive a car or even own a car, so naturally in his own mind he is an expert on everything.
I don't know if Keith is trying to be clever or if he's just lost it big time.
He's started a new Twitter feed called FOK News Channel http://twitter.com/#!/FOKNewsChannel complete with a Fox News logo knockoff (FOK means Friends of Keith)
So, yeah, Keith has turned into a Twitter snipe ... I've said this before, but he's making his play to be the new Ebert.
It's kind of funny isn't it? Just how irrelevant Olberdork has become since his firing. No one even knows or cares what he is thinking or saying anymore, even the liberals.
"It's kind of funny isn't it? Just how irrelevant Olberdork has become since his firing. No one even knows or cares what he is thinking or saying anymore, even the liberals."
Yeah, except his Twitter following kind of spiked more than the usual rate of increase.
Mr. Cox, Johnny Dollar, have you ever considered giving out electronic badges for your regulars? I think giving people an inflated self-importance on a blog will do great things for self-confidence in the real world.
Read the description of one of these badges from the Huffington Post:
"Cynth is a Level 1 Community Moderator!
Cynth has earned the Level 1 Community Moderator Badge! Cynth flagged at least 20 comments that we deleted and has a high ratio of good flags to mistaken flags, so Cynth's flags carry five times the weight as standard flags."
I think the goal for everyone here is to be a "Super User". Everyone here would feel a whole lot better about themselves.
OK, back to reality. "Super User" Zsa Zsa? Really? Really?
Well, Obama didn't heed Olberdork's warning, and had his Superbowl interview with O'Reilly. Also, Hillary's doing and interview with Fox this week on Greta's show. Is he going to tweet them now or disown them or something? He should at least name Obama WPITW. Lol.
Air America TV, doomed to failure. No one wanted to hear it for free, so why would anyone pay to see it? FatAss went from The Peacock Network to the moonbat network. Death spiral.
If that story about KO to Current TV is true, he could very well put that network on the map. KO single-handedly put MSNBC on the map. Now, we don't yet know what he'll be doing on his new show - it could be politics, it could be baseball, it could be anything.
"If that story about KO to Current TV is true, he could very well put that network on the map."
Kim Jong Il put Current TV on the map and that didn't work.
The good news out of this is Carlos continues to show up here, which means we all get to showcase to the world the type of character consistent in Olbermann's "loyal fanbase".
You know Carlos, I'd ask you why a man who had a show with a "loyal fanbase" of $1 million-plus viewers only has 225,000-ish Twitter fans but we already know your answer is "You'll have to ask him that," because you don't have an opinion until Olbermann tells you what is it.
Anyway, this was Carlos' stunning comments regarding Rupert Murdoch saying he doesn't believe in firing Olbermann twice:
"While I wouldn't have been surprised if he would have taken such an offer, I strongly doubt he would have."
You wouldn't have been surprised but you strongly doubt. I take it back. Maybe it's best if Olbermann does think for you.
Current TV isn't even carried on my cable, does anyone else get it? Besides that, does anyone think Al Gore will indefinitely fund the network out of his own pocket, and pay Olberdork anything close to what he was getting at MSNBC?
I'm a little surprised. I figured he would go to want of the gay channels like Logo or something, which does have a decent viewership and where his pro gay hysteria and misogyny would fit right in.
Yes, Olbermann put MSNBC on the map. EIGHT YEARS AGO.
Since then his stock has dropped considerably. I mean, I could go over all the stuff that's happened in eight years but MKDAWUSS is just gonna ignore it or ask a question that will become rhetorical because he doesn't want an answer and just likes to pretend he can get the drop on me so it would just be a waste of time.
If the rumor is true then this is just a desperate attempt to get a struggling network off the ground. Nothing more.
Good point, but I have a feeling that OlbyLoons that don't get Current TV will put massive pressure on their respective providers to start carrying it. If they can pressure NBC into ceasing his indefinite suspension, they can force Current TV onto every cable, satellite, or phone TV provider in the country. God help us.
"Good point, but I have a feeling that OlbyLoons that don't get Current TV will put massive pressure on their respective providers to start carrying it."
You mean the "loyal fanbase" that's too lazy to add Olbermann's account to the people they follow Twitter?
Yeah real scary. You also apparently forgot that he was fired from MSNBC and to this day remains fired.
And those of you who like to come in a day later and say "he wasn't fired" need to learn to read between the lines.
I'll tell you who's next, Special ed schultz.
I will give him till May then, GONE!
MSLSD THE place for poltics unless its the weekend or primetime or midday or morning or late night...

Great news for Olberdork! Federal judge rules Obamacare unconstitutional! 26 states now part of the lawsuit! LOL!
Olberdork, Madcow, Crazy Larry - face it, you guys overreached.

Federalism is kind of a big deal in terms of how our government is set up.
The idea that making a distinction between State and Federal law is "hypocritical" shows how little Olbermann knows.
The car insurance argument is asinine... but what would you expect from a miserable failure like Olbermahn? He's lost both parents, his live-in whore, and his job... all in the span of 2 years. Not to mention that ratings are HIGHER since he was fired. Karma bites, huh Olby?
Ratings are higher? Really? So much for the Daily Kos boycott of MSNBC.
I know everyone ignored what Alan Colmes said in that video but the fact remains there is always a spike when something like this occurs. If it lasts more than another week or so I'd be surprised.

She will admit she was duped but then say "that's really what Palin followers think". Classic tact.
"The bad news about a free and open internet? Sometimes you get had by brilliant satirists. Christwire: 1 TRMS: 0"
1. Real classy Maddow. What a world we live in where you can retract a story without retracting it and do it over Twitter.
2. She knows their satirists and runs the story anyway. Comcast has its work cut out for them.
Funny, I seem to remember that not too long ago Fox News viewers being lambasted by the left as a bunch of naive twits based on the fact that a few anonymous posters under a Fox Nation article seemingly took a satirical piece literally. Something like that.
Anyway, I'm just sayin'....

I think we can safely rule out the possibly of Olby being on Fox News--or on any other Fox Channel.
"Murdoch On Rumors Of Hiring Olbermann: ‘We Don’t Believe In Firing People Twice’"

*possibility*
Maddow believing that story reminds me of the Alex Jones crowd believing this video was real: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWfKdKWJEkM

Mr. Cox, Johnny Dollar, I know that some people have commented that the advertising here is auto-generated but some of this stuff is out of line.
To be frank that discreetnation.com ad is pretty tasteless. I hope that's something you don't have control over because if it is then shame on you.
It's kind of funny isn't it? Just how irrelevant Olberdork has become since his firing. No one even knows or cares what he is thinking or saying anymore, even the liberals.

Are you kidding America47000? This just proves that "loyal fanbase" bullshit is just that.
Idiot Countdown fan: Keith has a loyal fanbase that will follow him anywhere.
cjflan32: Then how come his show averaged 1.2 million but only 225,000 Twitter fans? Twitter's free isn't it?
So much for "following him anywhere."
Oh my goodness, how could I have written something so stupid? I'm surprised one of the lurkers hasn't torn that one up yet.
You don't have to be a follower to actually follow him on Twitter.
But, if you were a "loyal fan", why wouldn't you?
Anyway, caught this Tweet for all you Pittsburgh fans out there:
"Football prediction has very little to do with this 2009 photo taken with one of my kindest viewers, a Mr Tomlin"
http://yfrog.com/h851chxxj
Wow what a picture. That guy in the suit is a fatass. Wonder who that is. HAHA
Thanks for removing the nasty ad on the top of the page - much appreciated.

Nice waste of $315 million AOL.

TVNewser reports that tomorrow at 11am ET in a confrence call ,bathtub boy is going to announce his *GAK* new venture
On the heels of AOLs purchase of HuffPo, one has to wonder if ...no! I shudder to even THINK that will ever happen !!
*digs deep hole * where is that damn stake , we need to nail it in what little heart he has so that he cant rise again !!! (heheh)
Get your popcorn ready.
We knew he would soon rear his FatAss somewhere. Olbywatch lives! Olbystench wafts nearby...
http://hotair.com/archives/2011/02/07/olbermann-to-announce-new-career-plans-tomorrow-morning/
It takes a FatAss to know a FatAss.
http://mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/02/07/olbermann-said-to-be-going-to-current-tv/
Olby going to current tv?
Which leads me to two questions......
1. Does anyone get Current TV?
2. What is Current TV? Thought it was 2-3 minutes of clips?
You Tube = Current TV. I suppose Zsa Zsa Huffpo will help out in some way now that she, Dracula's Daughter, runs the AOL "empire". Vampire Empire.
I will wait until after tomorrow's press conference to laugh my ass off about that one.
Air America TV, doomed to failure. No one wanted to hear it for free, so why would anyone pay to see it? FatAss went from The Peacock Network to the moonbat network. Death spiral.

Who the hell's paying for it now?
And yeah, he could. Gore gets a lot of money for spreading propaganda ERRR giving speeches on global warming ERRR climate change and not debating it.
Whoa. Anyone see the correlation there?
With Keith headed to Current TV, does that mean this site will resume watching him?
