Olbermann Watch, "persecuting" Keith since 2004

    January 11, 2011
    Olbermann Embarrasses Himself...Again!

    Bathtub Boy

The infamous, deplorable one is loose on Twitter again, and there you can see him in his true element. The witticisms, the pithy exchanges, and the rapier-sharp intellect are exactly what you might expect from Herr Olbermahn. Here he explains the policy of his program to exclude opinions he disagrees with:

    • JOHN STROMBERGER: If presenting one side of a story was a competition, you would be world champion.
    • TWITTERMANN: There are not two sides to the premise that we need to drop the violent rhetoric. Sorry.

Of course, when caught in a corner, sometimes Edward R Olbermann will resort to such things as bragging about his 'Ivy League' education:

    • AUGUSTINE 25: Reviewed your comments on murder of Hillary Clinton. In 2008, they were dangerous. In 2011, they are unforgiveable.
    • TWITTERMANN: Made no such comments. But if pretending this assuages your guilt, go for it
    • TWITTERMANN: btw I was a TA at Cornell. As an undergrad.

Oooooh. Isn't that special? Should someone catch him misinforming his gullible followers with untrue 'facts', Olby, who never played football (or any other known sport) proves adept at moving the goalposts:

    • TWITTERMANN: You'll notice the AZ shooter was stopped by unarmed individuals. Last time a vigilante stopped an event like this?
    • RYUSURE: Uh, check again Mr. Perfect. One of the men who subdued Loughner was carrying. He said so on (uh-oh) Fox News! LOL.
    • TWITTERMANN: Carrying, did not draw weapon.

Because a man with a gun is 'unarmed' unless he draws the gun...and then magically he's all of a sudden armed! At least that's how it works on OlbyPlanet. And then there's this:

    • JAMES B: Remember the movie "Death of a President" glamorizing Bush's death? Pot, meet kettle.
    • TWITTERMANN: I was opposed to that at the time.
    • TWITTERMANN: Condemned that movie at the time of it's [sic] release.

Hmmm...maybe he condemned it to his barber, or to the last girlfriend to dump him, but there doesn't seem to be any record of it on msnbc:

    Bathtub Boy

Tonight, you can expect that the buffoon who described the last President as a 'fascist', 'idiot-in-chief', a 'war criminal', and (our favorite) 'psychotic' will lecture us again on why we have to watch our words. Hmm, he took a different, decidedly sarcastic tone regarding Ari Fleischer's call for rhetorical caution after 9/11:

OLBERMANN: Fleischer tells Maher to watch what he says, contributes to an environment in which ABC fired Maher from his show, warns Americans not to speak freely, that's OK.

Let's see: it's wrong to ask Americans not to speak freely. But now it's imperative that Americans be told not to speak freely because...well, don't try to make sense out of it. It's OlbyLogic.

On tonight's entirely civil Hour of Spin:

    • We need more gun control. One (D) Rep to agree, and...that's all you need, because there just aren't two sides to the story. Except of course for 'Geno' Washington, also there to agree.
    • Attack on Sarah Palin (R) for 'bullseye' imagery, but not Daily Kos, because there just aren't two sides to the story. Howard Not-So-Fineman.
    • Attack on 'the right'. Because there just aren't two sides etc etc.
    • What Obama should say, with lefty Alter and no one else, because there just aren't etc.
    • Attack on Dan Burton (R).
    • Attack on Jan Brewer (R).

I like the useful idiot of choice Chris Matthews has on his show to talk about Violence, Vitriol, and the right wing. Drum roll please: Congressman Emanuel Cleaver! Please, the way M.S.S.R. has been ginning up talk of banning all words and symbols that even hint of violent imagery, the congressman would be forved by the Government to change his last name.

    Deer Keith,

You are not mainstream. RUSH IS!

    Good night and screw you!

    Syvyn11

    Worsts later. I'm watching NCIS!

Ok do we really care about FDR's grandaughter and great-grandaughter? No...

Keith and his kronies are on their high horse tonight, Alter and all the rest "blank" youth, were spewing their venom tonight, doing everything but just come out and say the republicans are responsible for what happened on Saturday.

They're turning Palin in to "Where's Waldo" Look idiots, she's not saying anything as to keep you guys from saying anymore stuff. (the correct phrase is giving them ammo, but we live in a freakin PC world now so...you get the point.)

    *forced*

Funny how this board isn't lit up like it was last night.

Actually, it's not funny. If I got clobbered like MKDAWUSS did last night I wouldn't be posting either.

    WIth that said:

-This is the first day since MKDAWUSS called for for someone to take some "responsibility" for the "media-political climate" that has been created.

-This is the first day since MKDAWUSS said "maybe" when asked if Olbermann should distance himself from the title of his book 63 minutes after he called for someone to take some "responsibility" for the "media-political climate" that has been created.

-This is the first day since MKDAWUSS claimed that Keith Olbermann, the Daily Kos and Media Matters for America are "credible" and "honest" sources.

-This is the first day since MKDAWUSS failed to name five conservatives blaming liberals for the Tuscon massacre.

-This is the first day since MKDAWUSS told me BoyBlue apologized 54 minutes after he said the left "wasn't buying" the condolences of Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann.

-This is the first day since MKDAWUSS said he wasn't sure if Loughner's massacre was "politically motivated".

-This is the nineteenth day since MKDAWUSS ignored Johnny Dollar's post concerning Olbermann's lie about Bill O'Reilly stealing someone's seat.

-This is the nineteenth day since MKDAWUSS ignored Johnny Dollar's comments concerning Olbermann's lie about NBC's football ratings.

-This is twenty-fifth day since MKDAWUSS failed to acknowledge Keith Olbermann's comments and cowardice regarding the Assange rape case and subsequent Twitter ban issue.

-This is the twenty-fifth day since MKDAWUSS failed to bring up a legitimate criticism of Bristol Palin.

-This is the twenty-sixth day since MKDAWUSS accused the regulars of Olbermann Watch of trashing Mr. Olbermann the father without evidence.

-This is the twenty-sixth day since MKDAWUSS accused the regulars of Olbermann Watch of trashing Mrs. Olbermann without evidence.

-This is the twenty-ninth day since MKDAWUSS failed to explain how this:

    http://mediamatters.org/research/201012090001

is an example of Glenn Beck using a "stupid Nazi comparison". And no MKDAWUSS, keywording "Nazi" and throwing in your opinion of context is not an explanation.

-This is the thirty-first day since MKDAWUSS insinuated that "Pitchforks and Torches" is a better seller than conservative books because there were no copies of it available at his bookstore.

-This is the thirty-fifth day since MKDAWUSS accused the members of Olbermann Watch of "dodging questions".

That's 15 things MKDAWUSS hasn't answered for in just over a month. Imagine if he showed up every day.

Johnny Dollar YOU are the one who needs to stop lying.

Re-read Olbermann's comments on Hillary Clinton you moron:

"Right. Somebody who can take her into a room and only he comes out."

He never said MURDER. Obviously he meant for that person to lock her in there. Forever.

Look at it this way numbnuts. It's like carrying a weapon is not the same as drawing a weapon. God what is wrong with you?

No wonder MKDAWUSS doesn't respect you.

good evening, long time reader, first time poster, very long time hater of Bathtub Boy.

Is there anything that could embarrass this moron into shutting the heck up?

good evening, long time reader, first time poster, very long time hater of Bathtub Boy.

Is there anything that could embarrass this moron into shutting the heck up?

I love that you keep up with all this stuff cjflan32. I had been wanting for months and months (perhaps pushing on a year now) to list all the things MKDAWUSS has ignored since his first appearance but thought of the task overwhelmed me and therefore fatigued me as he has ignored quite a lot.

•TWITTERMANN: There are not two sides to the premise that we need to drop the violent rhetoric. Sorry.

Yep, and on the day The False Murrow actually condemns ALL leftist hate speech AS HATE SPEECH too, Unicorns will fart rainbows.

There was breaking news at minute #1 of Countdung. A note was found that said Die Bitch. Really? That is breaking news? I'm thinking that he just wanted to take the opportunity to say the word BITCH on the air. At the bottom of the hour I was waiting to see it there was going to be more breaking news that a bloody rag was found in the trash. Oh wait, that was the latest issue of Mother Jones magazine, left behind by an M.S.S.R. reporter. DOH!..

    breaking news on Olberdork

That Shep Smith broke about 7.30pm this evening on The Fox Report

    what a pompous ass

Who's this "mkdawuss" tool? Patsy was banned so it has to be haggy, right?

Who's this "mkdawuss" tool? Patsy was banned so it has to be haggy, right?

"I love that you keep up with all this stuff cjflan32. Thanks. Yeah it's been about a year now. For awhile it wasn't anything to sneeze about then he started calling people out and, more importantly, promoting lies and hypocrisy.

    This is only the beginning.

Another point that comes to mind; Shouldn't the False Murrow condemn his own theme music to his show?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xdQNrk9lcI&feature=related

A Clockwork Orange, where a deviant man who commits vicious acts of Ultra-Violence on a daily basis is masturbating to the Opening theme to Countdung, thinking about how great his violence was for the day . Now we see where Der Kommissar gets "it" from.

The D Rep to agree was Carolyn McCarthy (NY-4th), someone that will be elected again and again on the sympathy vote. Fran Becker came close to beating her, but it wasn't enough.

#2: Holy cow! Oh, my goodness! I don't believe it! No WPitW (or whatever it'll be renamed)! Let's keep it that way tomorrow.

O'Reilly's interview with Joe Arpaio brought up a good point about Dupnik's irresponsible comments about rhetoric, namely that it provides a possible defense for Loughner.

Which got me to thinking if there isn't some degree of hope among the lefties pushing this crap that Loughner will pick up on the idea to use it as a defense.

    1. Lefties incessently blame conservative rhetoric for causing violence
    2. Loughner's lawyers seize on this opportunity and claim insanity by reason of the conservative vitriol
    3. Liberals turn around and cite Loughner's using the conservative vitriol defense as proof that they need to regulate conservative speech.

Never mind that Dupnik has now tainted the investigation by pushing this rhetoric theory (after ignoring the fact that Loughner seemingly issued death threats to half of Pima County the past few years).

    What a disgrace

This morning's topic of choice for M.S.S.R.: Second verse, same as the first. John Heilman of Politico: The political rhetoric "MAY OR MAY NOT" have led directly to the shooing of Congresswoman Giffords, "BUT THE RHETORIC OF THE LAST 2 YEARS FROM THE RIGHT IS PRETTY VIOLENT AND DANGEROUS AND NEEDS TO STOP". The panel on Morning Schmoe bobs their heads in agreement and continues to blame the Tea Party. They use the imagery of Sarah Palin, Obamacare and the 9 year old girl (who was killed in this tragedy by this sick madman)., but FAIL to bring up Republican Judge John Roll's name as a victim too. Since I don't have access to Countdung transcripts or his TWITter page, can anyone find out just HOW MANY TIMES the False Murrow mentioned John Roll over the last 5 days?

The Creed that M.S.S.R. stands by for Journalism 24/7 365:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie.? It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” - PAUL JOSEPH GOEBBELS

Unfortunately for them, We, the American people, are too smart for them. Compulsive Socialists and Communists never learn anything from History. They always lived by the mantra of "History begins today! Nothing in the past matters".

Even a CBS News poll says the American people reject the "conservatives did it" argument by a 2-1 margin, and even Democrats don't think that is the case. Fools like Dicknik and Olberdork are just making themselves look worse every time they open their mouths.

"Even a CBS News poll says the American people reject the "conservatives did it" argument by a 2-1 margin, and even Democrats don't think that is the case. Fools like Dicknik and Olberdork are just making themselves look worse every time they open their mouths."

It doesn't really matter to the people over at M.S.S.R. or the sheep that follow and praise every single word of what they say, which is pretty hateful in their own sick perverted way. I got into a debate with a liberal yesterday who just seethed in hate for Sarah Palin and how she and the teabaggers were responsible, and even with examples I used of Liberal haterd towards her, such as the effigy of her hanging from a noose, the band Gwar dismembering a dummy of Palin on stage, and the movie "The assassination of George W. Bush", he just brushed it off and kept calling Palin a pig. this was my response:

The difference between you and I are vastly apart. It sounds to me that the only reason you get up in the morning is to hate Sarah Palin. from 6am to 11pm or midnight it is hate Sarah Palin, trash Sarah Palin, and Hate on her some more. Whe...n you get bored, you switch it up a bit. Throw in a little haterd of Rush Limbaugh, or a Glenn Beck, or Fox News. I bet you even have a little anger and hatred in your dreams too. Here is a little manly advice for you: It is not healthy for any intelligent person to stay angry at something 24/7, 365. Personally, I stay away from angry people like you. People like you bring morale down. You don't bring anything newsworthy or intelligent to a discussion. All you bring is all of your anti-this, anti-that, Sarah Palin is a pig, nonsense. It is not healthy for me to be around a person that has this much hostility towards other people. I was taught to think for myself, not to have others think for me. that is what has made me a very successful person in life. When I deal with a crisis, I look at the facts, think of solutions, and present my case. You just deal with anger, hatred, and pure arrogance because you "think" you are morally superior to others that hold a different viewpoint. Take my advice, you need to heed to it badly. If not, you are just to closeminded to see it and that is pretty sad.

His response: Go f*ck yourself. I'm done with you.

    My counter:

I don't hate you Ed, nor do I hate or condemn athiests. I enjoy a well thought-out debate of the issues. It keeps me on top of my game. If anything I am more disappointed with the way you chose to go out. This is why I took public speaking and debate in college. When you consistently present the facts to a person that is not interested in looking at the facts rationally and continues to spew some kind of anti-whatever diatribe and continues to attack someone they just can't stand, IN DEBATE there are techniques used to convince the person as to why they are being irrational and their basis for argument doesn't stand on water. Hence, you took the low road and crumbled. I am more upset that You kept on beating your head against a glass window with Sarah Palin and in debate, any professor will say you will lose. Now I am going to give you the reason why I can't stand anger now. From a health standpoint, I have a family trait for heart defects. My older sister just had a heart defect discovered and treated last week. She is 45. I have to stay calm and collective from here on out and if I have blood pressure problems, that may trigger my demise, just like my mother went out 17 years ago, and my mother's brother who died at age 42. I am 34. But, when you continually show anger, vitriol, and whatever rage you have inside of you, just think about what I said. Anger can affect not only you personally, but the people who love you and admire you. Now if still want me to go fuck myself, so be it. I said my peace, but I won't withdraw an olive branch.

This comment from Olby caught my eye when he was interviewing Jonathan Alter:

"The CBS poll that 57% or whatever suggested there was no connection between the tone of events and this crime in Arizona over the weekend. The point missing there was nearly a third did, that's a lot of people who believe the tone it needs to be addressed in some serious way."

I looked at the poll and it stated 57% of Americans feel the harsh political tone had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ARIZONA SHOOTINGS. Of that figure, 69% of Republicans, 49% of Democrats and 56% of Independents feel the political rhetoric and the Tucson shootings were unrelated.

"The point missing there..." No Keith, YOU are missing the point. Americans do not agree with your view on this (and many other) subject. You went on the air to politicize a tragedy with any facts and made a complete fool out of yourself with your attempt to smear Fox News, Sarah Palin and Bill O'Reilly. Americans are not buying your snake oil and, in fact, there is a backlash against it.

    Resign, sir.

I got into an online discussion with a liberal associate the other day who echoed the typical knee-jerk anti Fox News/Talk Radio spin of creating an atmosphere of violence that appeals to the deranged mind.

Then in another post he responded to me by railing against the war in Iraq destabilizing the Middle East, and that Dick "Darth Vader" Cheney destroyed the Constitution to get his way (yeah, still on that kick).

I asked him how giving a public official an evil nickname didn't contribute to the atmosphere of vitriol he previously warned about.

His response was to ask why I should care about the nickname, since Dick Cheney had blood on his hands for marching our soldiers off to die. Thus, he is Darth Vader.

In other words, maybe Liberals and Conservatives both use rhetoric to demonize the other side, but Liberals are allowed to since their viewpoint is just and correct.

It all stems from the probability that people such as this begin any debate by substituting their opinion for actual fact, and thus when you oppose their opinion you are ignoring the facts. Thus, to them, you are being irrational.

There's just no getting through to some people.

•JAMES B: Remember the movie "Death of a President" glamorizing Bush's death? Pot, meet kettle.
•TWITTERMANN: I was opposed to that at the time.
•TWITTERMANN: Condemned that movie at the time of it's [sic] release.

Oh really? Does this graphic from Countdung back in 2009 count as angry leftist vitriol against republicans? One can only think that the False Murrow would condemn this picture as well and FIRE the person that urged him to use this on his show. Or, did The False Murrow personally approve of it? I expect a full apology for this:

    http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tim-graham/2009/03/18/msnbc-mocks-fox-low-standards-what-about-olbermanns-cheney-assassination

Oh and as to that movie he claimed to condemn, the only olbermann/bush movie condemnation I could find on the internet is this:

•TWITTERMANN: btw I was a TA at Cornell. As an undergrad.

I went to a subsidiary college of West Virginia University named Potomac State College of WVU for 1 year before I transferred to the University of New Orleans. The False Murrow graduated from a subsidiary college of Cornell, Cornell Agriculture. Remember when Ann Coulter teased Der Kommissar about his College education and out came the diploma, and he shot back that he got his cheaper than she did? My dad took 1 class at Cornell for Business Administration for a job promotion and got a plaque for it. He still says he is not a college graduate but yet made it into the 1994 edition of "Who's Who in American Business".

The point is, can I just say I attended West Virginia University, even though it was a subsidiary and for 1 year since it is ok to lie like The Hefty One?

Do you know anyone - anyone, family, friends, or co-workers, that whips out a college diploma when you are talking to them and then tells you they are right and you are wrong because they have a college diploma? I sure haven't, and this just points to Olberdork's severe mental illness, narcisism and sociopathic problems.

Getting back to Palin, isn't it rich how they blasted her all weekend, made comments how she won't make a statement, then when she makes a statement, calls them out beautifully on their hatred and blood libel, they turn around and say she is playing the victim card, and that she is trying to insert herself into the story and should keep her mouth shut. The mainstream media is so far gone I will never trust them again, even if they said the sun was going to come up in the morning.

Or in Chris Matthews' case, I'd be sitting outside with the rest of the "Full Mooners" listening to my podcast of Rush Limbaugh, or excuse me, Mr. Big from Live and Let Die (he just loves attacking people who have or have had weight issues in the past). The False Murrow needed to show his audience the importance of getting a College education or else they'd be in Iraq (John F'n Kerry quote).

No Tony I dont, I would be suspect of anyone who did. I find it odd that he is suffer from narcisism and low self esteem. I would further give him props if he were to acknowledge that he attended Cornell Ag. Furthermore I wonder what course the poor students at Cornell Bovine University were forced to endure. Enough sir Admit it is not THE CORNELL that you so proudly reference. Face it boys and girls Keith is a putz had anybody that Keiths likes to attack misrepresented his education is such a fashion they surley would be multiple winners of WPITW honors.

    sorry for the double post

Wolf, America, very interesting stories about the liberals you talked to. I've encountered the same thing before. If you try to point out examples to them, such as all the death wish stuff the liberals heaped on Bush, they give you this look like "how dare you bring that up". They simply feel that they can do whatever they want, but if you do the same exact thing they do, all of a sudden, it is bad. Michael Savage is right. Liberalism is simply a mental disorder.

Tonight NBC News had time for the girls who remember Loughner for playing the flute but not the guy who said Loughner didn't watch tv or listen to the radio.

Give them credit for going down with the sinking ship.

One can certainly fall into the Anger trap. I was there when I had lost my job and I was going through the 5 stages of Depression (which was right about the time when I started posting on this site). There were times when I was called out for anger by cj and others. They were right about me being out of line. Looking back on it now, and especially the health factors, being angry all of the time is NOT productive. Looking at the fools on M.S.S.R. who were enraged by Palin for being silent yesterday and are enraged by her statement today are showing that they wake up in the morning angry and go to bed angry, and probably have angry dreams. They are obsessed with being angry at Sarah Palin and if they had the chance they would blame her for Pangea breaking apart. Life is way too short for that kind of lifestyle.
