Olbermann Watch, "persecuting" Keith since 2004

    January 4, 2011
Tonight's Dog That Will Not Bark

    Bathtub Boy

Here's a little trip through the Olbermann Watch Archives:

    • Olbermann and Howard Fineman bash Bush for signing statements.
    • Olbermann declares Bush's use of a signing statement is 'giving the legislative branch' the 'finger' and constitute's the President 'ignoring the law'.
    • Olbermann and Craig Crawford bash Bush for signing statements.
    • Olbermann attacks Bush for...wait for it...signing statements!
    • Olby and the Perfessor bash Bush for, yeah, you gussed it, signing statements.

That last one exposes even more Olbypocrisy, as the infamous deplorable one rails against ramming bills through a lame duck Congress, because it isn't 'bipartisan'. Hmm, he's been remarkably silent on that topic this year.

So, President Obama is again about to attach a signing statement to a bill (regarding Gitmo and terrorism provisions). Will Herr Olbermahn lay into him tonight as he did with Bush? Does Edward R Olbermann have even a miniscule shred of journalistic integrity? Does the sun rise in the west? We predict: this dog won't bark.

What you will get on tonight's Hour of Spin:

    • Attack on Darrell Issa (R) with a Dem hack and Geno Robinson (another Dem hack).
    • Attack on GOP with a union boss.
    • Attack on the filibuster (remember when Olby was concerned about preserving the filibuster exactly as is?) with a partisan hack from Think Propaganda.
    • Attack on Glenn Beck.

    WEDNESDAY UPDATE:
No barking dog yet? Tonight's Hour of Spin:

    • Attack on Boehner (R), House GOP (R) with Bawney Fwank and Howard Not-So-Fineman.
    • A lesson in the constitution: it doesn't mean what it sez!
    • Attack on Jan Brewer (R) for murdering a transplant patient.
    • Attack on Kentucky for wanting to arrest 'undocumented immigrants' (OlbySpeak for illegal aliens).
    • An OlbyPlanet wet dream: all those people leaving the administration is a good thing! Obama unleashed! Yeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! (Yes, liar Howard Dean to appear.)

Because I'm bored I will reprint this from this morning:

-This is the twelfth day since MKDAWUSS ignored Johnny Dollar's post concerning Olbermann's lie about Bill O'Reilly stealing someone's seat.

-This is the twelfth day since MKDAWUSS ignored Johnny Dollar's comments concerning Olbermann's lie about NBC's football ratings.

-This is eighteenth day since MKDAWUSS failed to acknowledge Keith Olbermann's comments and cowardice regarding the Assange rape case and subsequent Twitter ban issue.

-This is the eighteenth day since MKDAWUSS failed to bring up a legitimate criticism of Bristol Palin.

-This is the nineteenth day since MKDAWUSS accused the regulars of Olbermann Watch of trashing Mr. Olbermann the father without evidence.

-This is the nineteenth day since MKDAWUSS accused the regulars of Olbermann Watch of trashing Mrs. Olbermann without evidence.

-This is the twenty-second day since MKDAWUSS failed to explain how this:

    http://mediamatters.org/research/201012090001

is an example of Glenn Beck using a "stupid Nazi comparison". And no MKDAWUSS, keywording "Nazi" and throwing in your opinion of context is not an explanation.

-This is the twenty-fourth day since MKDAWUSS insinuated that "Pitchforks and Torches" is a better seller than conservative books because there were no copies of it available at his bookstore.

-This is the twenty-sixth day since MKDAWUSS accused the members of Olbermann watch of "dodging questions".

Remember, on olby-planet, working for intrest in the private sector is EVIL!!! Working for larger more controlling government... GOOD!

Like when the para-transit service takes the senior citizen to the wrong dialysis center and then refuses to take him to the right one (really, how much of a asshat do you have to be not to make that right? I mean, I was ready to get off my machine and go get him) IT'S THE WPITW ABSTRACT!!!!!!!!!!!

Bronze: Geico for firing announcer for bashing tea party, but didn't do anything to F. Lee Emry for bashing Obama. OH NO YOU DIDN'T, Keith! You F&#( with Gunny, you F*%# with your own life, son. Emry is 1000000 times the man you are. If you faced him face to face, he'd leave you crying with a turd in your underwear!

Silver: BECK-O!!!! For the sin of having of a two year plan. Then says that Glenn is fired from WOR NY for low ratings. cites this as the beginning of the end of Beck.

GOLD!!!!: ALAN WEST! For the sin of criticizing President Obama for going to Afghanistan. About travel times. Col. West is more of a man than Obama. And Brings up the lie about West being kicked out of Army for crimes (he was exonerated). Then Olby attacks Col. West for telling people about the evils of Sharia Law. Remember, Keith is a closet Muslim. So to him brutalizing of women, honor killings, killing those who don't convert to islam and cutting off of hands for minor crimes is a good thing.

Another six minutes to the return of V. With the return of the real Head Bitch Lizard in Charge, Diana (AKA Jane Balder).

Maybe I missed something or am misinterpreting it, but did KO take Rep. Issa's (R-CA-49) words out of context? I was under the impression that Issa wanted to streamline regulations, making it more effective both in policy and spending, not simply letting the regulatees write the regulations for the regulators, giving those being regulated a free pass at everything.

Could be wrong, though. Might need to watch it again.

"Maybe I missed something or am misinterpreting it, but did KO take Rep. Issa's (R-CA-49) words out of context?"

    Wouldn't be the first time.

    "Could be wrong, though."

Also wouldn't be the first time.

And BTW, nice job dodging my questions. I think I've something like that before. Oh yeah:

"And BTW, nice job dodging M-Ditty's questions."-MKDAWUSS

"Another six minutes to the return of V. With the return of the real Head Bitch Lizard in Charge, Diana (AKA Jane Balder)."

Dude when I was a kid Jane Badler was one of my first crushes. Until I found out she was a lizard who ate birds and mice.

    That was one cold bitch.

Cjflan, When I found out she was a lizard who ate birds, mice and HUMANS! It turned me on more.

"When I found out she was a lizard who ate birds, mice and HUMANS! It turned me on more."

You don't get laid much do you syvyn11? lol Like I should talk.

"We should all rise up, and we should stop this administration from what they're doing because they're destroying this country. They’re driving us into bankruptcy so that they can impose socialism on us, and that’s exactly what they’re doing, and I’m sick and damn tired of it and I know you are too" R Lee Ermey... We need more like him dont cha think. But then again I'm not KO.

mabe when olbertard does have some worthwhile guest first two should be
Todd Palin and R. Lee Ermey

What can I say? I was 14 when V first aired.

Guess who's back? It's Keithy's boodle boy, you guessed it, ROBIN himself.... David Shuster. And he's defending MSNBC. Guess he wants Keith to give him his job back.

David Shuster: 'MSNBC Will Never Be As Liberal As Fox Is Conservative'

    By Tim Graham | January 04, 2011 | 06:48

Via TV Newser and Mediaite, we've learned that when David Shuster subbed in as an overnight radio host on the national Jim Bohannon show, Shuster claimed “MSNBC will never be as liberal as Fox is conservative,” and insisted "MSNBC, CNN, dedicated to a much more sort of basic set of journalistic principles than most of Fox News." He claimed he shouldn't talk about Fox, but then let them have it:

A very wise man once told me: I should never talk about Fox after having worked there. Just because, no good could come out of saying what I really feel. But let's put it this way. There was a poll that was done recently that found that viewers of Fox News Channel tend to be far more misinformed and have a greater chance misunderstanding basic facts about our society and politics that viewers of any other cable channel.

There are some terrific journalists at Fox News Channel. I think Shep Smith is probably the premier anchor/journalist of my generation. He’s terrific, and he does the news straight and let the chips fall where they may. But most of Fox News is not dedicated to that kind of journalism. It’s dedicated to a very sharp point of view. Critics of Fox News have pointed out that Fox News does partisan propaganda and there's ample evidence on a daily basis.

By contrast, apparently a 21-minute "Special Comment" rant by Keith Olbermann is neither "partisan" nor "propaganda," and when he claims that conservatives will take the country backward to Jim Crow, bread lines, and hanging union organizers, that's "dedicated to basic journalistic principles."

Shuster saluted Fox's biggest critics, the liberal media-monitoring group founded by Hillary Clinton, for standing up for their donor, George Soros.David Shuster: 'MSNBC Will Never Be As Liberal As Fox Is Conservative'

Shuster said that last week. John Gibson replied.

I love it when liberals say Shepard Smith is a marquee journalist. Because being liberal and interjecting your smartass commentary is apparently the epitome of journalism. Oh wait, that's exactly what Shuster does (did?). I can see why Shuster looks up to Shep Smith.

David Shuster is a genuine embarrassment to journalism and anyone who hires him gets what they deserve.

Olberdork's hero, Huffington Post, being sued by Democrat consultants, lol -
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thecutline/the-huffington-post-blasts-pointless-vanity-fair-story-on-lawsuit

Since Tim updated his NewsBusters post with the J$P link, I can now link to that post.

'MSNBC Will Never Be As Liberal As Fox Is Conservative'

Yep, they can't be liberal. THEY ARE ALL COMMUNIST.

By the way, did anyone have the stomach last night to watch The Dainty One (Chris Hayes) last night? He had on someone around 9:40EST whining about how the Republicans are now "Fetishizing" the Constitution and how it is a waste of time to talk about it because it is so old!!!!!!

EARTH TO M.S.S.R.: THE CONSTITUTION IS THE LAW OF THE LAND. GET OVER IT. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, MOVE TO VENEZUELA.

syvyn and cj, I was only 7 when V premiered, and I think that Jane Badler was the reason why I love brunette women so much these days too. She was HOT!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like the only one here that doesn't watch dramas.

You guys are too young, when I was that age, Marianne from Gilligans Island was the fantasy girl.

She's not bad now for a 55 year old chick.

I smell an appearance of Jerry "The reading of the Constitution is PROPAGANDA! Nadler (D-NY) on tonight's Countdung.

The Kentucky attack is going to be more of a attack on Rand Paul (R). All the major elected offices in Ky are controlled by Democrats. Including department of justice and Attorney General Jack "Aqua Budha" Conway (also a D).

About 3. I remember when the republicans had the FDA ban the use of Avaistin, therefore sentecing Women to painful death by breast cancer... Wait, that was a DEATH PANEL BY OBAMA! What was I thinking?

Like whe Sony wastes 10 minutes of their CES keynote to pimp "The Green Hornet", It's the WPITW abstract.

Bronze: Some chick for misunderstanding a phone call.

Silver: The Romanian President for taxing witches. I thought Keith was for higher taxes?

GOLD!!!: DAVID WILLIAMS (a countdown debut) The Kentucky senate president for mirroring the Arizona Law. Of course Mr. Williams is doing this because he's running for Governor (against incumbent Steven Beschear (D)). You wouldn't think that Ky has a illegal problem, but it does.

Also, Mr. Williams is a piss poor politician. A proclaimed horseman, he's against expanded gambling at racetracks even though (a) the racing industry (a keystone in Ky) is hanging by a thread and all the horses and money is going to tracks as states with racinos, and (b) he's a hypocrite for saying casinos are bad, but spends most of his free time at the Indiana Casinos.

He says that expanded gambling will increase broken families, prositution and violent crime in the state of Ky. That's the same crap the church put out when we were voting for the Lottery and when Casinos were coming to Southren Indiana. AND IT NEVER HAPPENED!!!!! He's a tool of the Baptists and unfit to be Governor.

But alas he's going to win cause his running mate is UK legend Ritchie Farmer. So either way, Kentucky loses.

Another 40 minutes till the Microsoft Keynote CES address.

"Silver: The Romanian President for taxing witches. I thought Keith was for higher taxes?"

I think The Hefty One was making this an opportunity to smear Christine O'Donnell. Besides, in the land of Der Kommissar, witches don't contribute to society, so they are the victims of that eeeevil capitalism! They need to be compensated for their hardships!

Uh-oh, looks like Darth Vader is back in the news! I see a 2nd appearance of John Dean for his ANALysis of this whopper of a breaking news story for the Fictional "News Hour":

    http://www.thirdage.com/news/dick-cheney-update-dick-cheney-may-seek-heart-transplant_1-5-2011

HOW DARE YOU THINK OF GETTING A HEART TRANSPLANT WHILE PEOPLE IN RAUL GRIJALVA'S DISTRICT ARE DYING. YOU SHOULD BE IN JAIL BECAUSE I SAY SO! Take notice that he brought on an AZ state senator to discuss GOP DEATH PANELS. Whats the matter, Der Kommissar can't bring on the Congressman for this story? Oh thats right.........you can't have him on your show because of your campaign contributions!

Like I said before, the producers over at M.S.S.R. should really change the name of this 8-9PM ABOMINATION to WTF WITH KEITH OLBERMANN and play it out like a game show.

In the #1 story Olby states, "...Clinton era Commerce Secretary William Daley is in the running for the Chief of Staff position calling Daley, "a grown up who gets you don't treat people like you know everything and they don't".

Then a quick shot of Olby stating, "I'm in trouble".

Wow, Olby just admitted he is an arrogant, know-it-all jerk that treats people like sh*t. Thanks for being so honest, Keith.

But seriously, why would anyone throw in that little comment? It wasn't even remotely funny and just reinforces what everyone here already knows...Olby thinks he is right about everything and no other opinions matter except those that echo his exact beliefs.

"Olby thinks he is right about everything and no other opinions matter except those that echo his exact beliefs."

Exactly....... That is why he DOES NOT TOLERATE any opposing viewpoints on his "News Hour". He lives inside the realm of fantasyland and any person that has a view of reality makes him have an accident in his pants.

Remember that time when Olby had Howard Kurtz on his show to talk about his (KO) suspension?

    Breaking News:

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_transplant_coverage_death

I see a joint story on Countdung now: How dare Dick Cheney contemplate a heart transplant when Jan Brewer just sentenced another one of Raul Grijalva's constituents to death by her panel!!!!!

Reality: So simple a Democrat can't understand it.

Fine, MK. He *seldom* tolerates opposing points of view. Better?

"Remember that time when Olby had Howard Kurtz on his show to talk about his (KO) suspension?"

Yeah, and if I recall it didn't go as Olbermann planned. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Anyone notice how every time someone says "Olbermann never has opposing views on his show" MKDAWUSS brings up the same three names? Hey MKDAWUSS, how come you can't show us a pattern of this kind of behavior?

    You're truly pathetic Wildcat.

Remember that time MKDAWUSS responded to this?:

-This is the fourteenth day since MKDAWUSS ignored Johnny Dollar's post concerning Olbermann's lie about Bill O'Reilly stealing someone's seat.

-This is the fourteenth day since MKDAWUSS ignored Johnny Dollar's comments concerning Olbermann's lie about NBC's football ratings.

-This is twentieth day since MKDAWUSS failed to acknowledge Keith Olbermann's comments and cowardice regarding the Assange rape case and subsequent Twitter ban issue.

-This is the twentieth day since MKDAWUSS failed to bring up a legitimate criticism of Bristol Palin.

-This is the twenty-first day since MKDAWUSS accused the regulars of Olbermann Watch of trashing Mr. Olbermann the father without evidence.

-This is the twenty-first day since MKDAWUSS accused the regulars of Olbermann Watch of trashing Mrs. Olbermann without evidence.

-This is the twenty-fourth day since MKDAWUSS failed to explain how this:

    http://mediamatters.org/research/201012090001

is an example of Glenn Beck using a "stupid Nazi comparison". And no MKDAWUSS, keywording "Nazi" and throwing in your opinion of context is not an explanation.

-This is the twenty-sixth day since MKDAWUSS insinuated that "Pitchforks and Torches" is a better seller than conservative books because there were no copies of it available at his bookstore.

-This is the twenty-eighth day since MKDAWUSS accused the members of Olbermann watch of "dodging questions".

Oh that's right, he never did. Because he's a coward. For some of these points he'd have to admit he was wrong, others he'd have to admit his hero is a hypocrite. Do you even read this post MKDAWUSS or have you just conceded the fact that I'm right and you can't possibly defend yourself?

MikeH may have been an idiot, but at least he tried to defend himself.

MKDAWUSS is a coward. Does your mother know how big of a coward you are MKDAWUSS?

"Fine, MK. He *seldom* tolerates opposing points of view. Better?"

Are you kidding me Mike C.?

MKDAWUSS just says that crap because if it wasn't for his "it only takes once to disprove never" argument. he'd have nothing to bring back to his Kos masters. Of course he'll fudge those numbers by citing "independents" like Crist and Chafee, as well as cite anything fed to him by Markos and company.

This coward MKDAWUSS refuses to answer for Olbermann's hypocrisy and more importantly his own issues with the truth.

When Olbermann shows a continued pattern of opposing views/voices that aren't liberal and/or progressive then we can think about using different words. Until then it's still NEVER.

BAD NEWS OLBERDORK - President Obama to be interviewed by Bill O'Reilly on Superbowl pregame show! So not only is your hero going to have a chat will "Billo" on air, when you never will get to, but it will be during the Superbowl, where millions and millions will be tuning in. Too bad you got dumped from Sunday Night Football huh? Meanwhile, O'Reilly expands his empire...
    LOL! LOL!
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thecutline/foxs-oreilly-to-interview-obama-before-super-bowl

I only said that so he'd leave us alone.

"I only said that so he'd leave us alone."

Well it's clear that scenario is not going to happen.

Which is fine with me because I enough material to make this personal.

And I'm fine with that. Because if MKDAWUSS doesn't care about the way Olbermann conducts himself and treats other people then he won't mind when I do the same thing to him.

And if he does then he'll be a hypocrite. Either way, I win.
