'Keith Olbermann' interviewed at CPAC:

MSNBC is run by idiots.
So you kick Olbermann out. Fine. Move Maddow to 8, O'Donnell to 9, reruns at 10 and 11. Problem solved.
Oh no, let's move Shultz to 10 and Cenk Uygur to 6. That'll work. Oh, wait.
Very few people were watching Shultz at 6, it's unlikely they were gonna stay up 'till 10.
As for this Uygur, if he thinks he's gonna bring down Fox News he needs to see a doctor. O'Reilly may have been waaaaaay off on his Super Bowl prediction but at least he had reason to be cocky.
Uygur can't even beat an Alfred E. Neuman lookalike yet he thinks he can topple Fox News. Go back to law school you prick.
"Very few people were watching Shultz at 6, it's unlikely they were gonna stay up 'till 10."
Alcohol does that ya know.
If one is sloshed at 6PM odds are they will be passed out by 10PM.
"If one is sloshed at 6PM odds are they will be passed out by 10PM."
Are you saying Ed's drunk or the people who watch him are drunk? Or both?
Regardless, just a terrible series of moves.
The lady in the interview said that "well Keith is somewhat left of center" and I just bust out laughing right there.
I agree with you guys though - why the hell didn't they move Madcow to 8 PM?
O'Reilly by himself has a half million more viewers than all of the MSNBC shows COMBINED. That says it all right there.
Not into baseball, but it is KO related

THAT'S NOT OLBY!!!! HE'S TOO THIN!!!!!
But seriously, Crowder could do a parody news show and beat anything on MSNBC.
Here we go again. Earlier tonight, Crazy Larry pulled an Oralmann and attacked O'Reilly. Sorry, now-nameless competitor, but Bill won't bite. By that, I mean he shouldn't bite.
Here's the attack:
"Here is what I see when I look at Bill O'Reilly: A very, very, very rich man who has grown phenomenally rich by playing a character on TV that the most gullible audience in the history of television falls for. When I look at O'Reilly, I also see dozens of guys I grew up with who were just like him. Overbearing, argumentative, Irish guys who think they know everything and can back up nothing. Those guys have always been a joke to me, which is why O’Reilly almost never has the capacity to outrage me, because he is just a joke to me most of the time. But when he blares homicidal encouragement for killing physicians who perform abortions [Ding!] (Tiller reference), he deserves all the serious-minded condemnation he has received for that much of it eloquently delivered through microphones of this network. (Hail King Olbermahn.)...
But most of what O'Reilly does day in and day out deserves nothing more than to be laughed at, which is how Saturday Night Live treated him this weekend. What else can you do with someone who says he knows of no other explanation of why the tides go in and out, and then when told it has a little something to do with the moon thinks he can stump you with this question?"
Sir Lawrence proceeded to follow in the footsteps of countless far-left websites (beginning with Gawker), Conan O'Brien, and Stephen Colbert in showing a preview of the January 26 Backstage Conversation for BillOReilly.com premium members that was posted on Bill's YouTube channel. By that logic, if Mr. Bill were to respond to O'Donnell's nonsense, he would play a clip of Larry on another show on MSNBC or elsewhere, or an online web show.
"He believes he can ask an utterly idiotic question like that and intimidate you, simply by using his faux Irish tough guy style. Billy Boy [Ding!], I know real Irish tough guys. They don't look and sound like you. And none of them come from Long Island like you. And none of them go to work in makeup like you. Anybody who knows real tough isn't fooled by your act, Bill."
You mean you don't go to work in makeup, Larry? What viewers see is au natural? What's your secret?
"Now, I have a homework assignment for your underworked staff. Since they finished explaining the tides and the moon to you, put them to work trying to find what this network has done or what I have done that is anti-American. Take as long as you want. Find it and show it to your audience." I knew this would happen. Bill says in passing that you'll hear anti-American stuff on MSNBC and they'd fight back. "And if you're as afraid to accept my challenge as I think you are, if you don't even try to provide facts to back up what you said about me, no one watching this show is going to be surprised, Billy, because they will know that you will have proved everything that I just said about you."
Good night and good luck...or something.
Noel Sheppard: "Pretty pathetic, don't you think? O'Donnell, much like children do, was basically saying, 'If you don't respond, I win.'" Yes, "fail," "burn," and all that tommyrot.
Noel again: "Is this how the new owners at NBC think they're going to drive their ratings? As for his 'No one watching this show' comment, the way he's going, and with performances like this, he's going to get his wish. When O'Donnell premiered at 8PM the first Monday after Olbermann's departure, he garnered over 1.5 million viewers. By last Thursday, that had plummeted to 843,000. In fact, all of MSNBC's extended prime time shows have seen their numbers collapse in recent weeks. Are the network's executives going to do something about it by actually improving the programming, or just by trying to antagonize their competition much as Olbermann did? Given that Chris Matthews has mentioned the name of his competitor Glenn Beck on 17 of his last 20 shows, it sadly appears this is the network's strategy. How pathetic."
So, I guess Cenk is going after Bret, Rachel is going after Sean, and Gargantuan Ed is going after Greta. (Note: He's Big Ed, but I wanted to use a variant.) That is indeed pathetic.
By the way, Bill liked the SNL spoof of his interview with President Obama. As he said last Monday, "Many Americans bring preconceived ideas to any political exposition and rate interviews according to their ideology. But among less intense Americans, I think the consensus is that I got my questions in, the president answered some, dodged some, but the back and forth was spirited and worthwhile." Sir Lawrence brought his preconceived notions to the SNL spoof, thinking it was a deliciously apt undressing of the eeevil O'Reilly.
It would have been nice if O'Donnell played nice and avoided goading O'Reilly into a feud to siphon viewers away from him, but that's what has happened. And it will continue to happen. Someone here suggested O'Donnell Watch. Right now, that looks like a great idea.
I am completely opposed to O'Donnell Watch (as if it matters). His style is relentlessly unappealing, and has proven in the few short weeks he's held the prime time slot at MSNBC that he is not worth watching; as you've indicated in the ratings (America agrees).
The reason why Olbermann Watch works (and still can) is on a completely different level. Reviewing Olbermann's work each day is not only important, it's highly entertaining. The lengths at which he was and will be willing to go for recognition and ratings is pure hilarity. O'donnell couldn't excite an electron.
The fact O'donnell is going after O'reilly, yet again speaks volumes about the integrity, and intelligence the left in this country (not all of them). There are daily calls for it to be removed from the airwaves, suggestions that the likes of O'reilly, Beck, Hannity and others be jailed for the things they say, and on and on. O'donnell is referencing moments in the Factor that happened months, and literally years ago. And throws out this bullshit challenge that O'reilly is laughing off his rouge covered cheeks over.
It's always the same. The complete failure to connect to the people, the lack of intelligence to debate or challenge anyone on the issues, and the recommendations of removal of opposition.
As for Olbermann, I'm curious to see where and how often he hits the airwaves to promote his new position at Current. I'm assuming he'll end up on Real Time with Bill Maher, but other than that, I don't think there is anywhere in the news world he would feel comfortable going. Its typically customary for anyone promoting a book or new program to go directly into the Lion's Den to stir up interest, but with Olbermann, haha, I'd imagine he'll continue to be a coward.
I guess we don't need O'Donnell Watch. I was just didn't like the way he went after O'Reilly.
"Not into baseball, but it is KO related"
Translation: "I'm not into baseball, so I don't know if this is any good other than the fact that Keith wrote it. Therefore it must be good. Because Keith told me it was."
So I saw that today and remember the last time MKDAWUSS tried to defend Olbermann's baseball blog:
http://www.olbermannwatch.com/archives/2010/03/keith_olbermann_112.php
In the words of Michael Cole, this is vintage MKDAWUSS. And apparently someone discovered who he was before I did.
The left has been having a meltdown lately after the high profile O'Reilly interview with Obama - I love it. It's amazing to me that demented characters like Crazy Larry, Olberdork, Madcow, Maher wouldn't hestitate, if they had absolute power, killing or imprisoning in concentration camps every Republican or Conservative in the country, maybe as many as 150 million people, then turn around and justify it in the name of peace and justice and fairness. I know it makes no sense at all, but that's how your liberal minds operate. If you say things they don't like, you are considered evil and need to be eliminated in any way whatsoever, kind of Pol Pot with an American touch.
Although this is unrelated, as it must be until Olbermann reinserts himself into the daily media circus, I caught the second half of Bill Maher's Real Time last night from the previous Friday (guest panelist, Matthew Perry). When he was approximately half way through with his transition into the O'reilly interview discussion, I stood up from my couch, and swore at no one for about ten minutes. He actually showed disgust when referencing the interview, and asked how it was possible for him to get away with belittling the President..........ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!
He then asked how the right would react to an interview of George W. Bush with Keith Olbermann. Seeing that O'reilly has never called President Obama a fascist, racist, Nazi, told him to shut the hell up, or devote 45 minutes of his nightly show to BELITTLING him, is probably the reason why he was granted an interview with him in the first place. Belittle the President??!?! I'm not sure a word left Maher or Olbermann's mouth in the first decade of this century that didn't belittle the former President.
Then, they made the accusation that O'reilly asking the President about football, during a Super Bowl interview...was racist. You're right Tony, this interview has the left throwing a hissy fit, and I LOVE IT...
O'Reilly went off on this Monday night. "You're a basketball guy." From now on I'll remember not to ask a black dude if he likes basketball. Because that shit's racist.
This is almost one of those time's when you wish Olbermann was still around just to hear him say that O'Reilly is a racist for saying a black man likes basketball.
Almost.
O'Reilly had the perfect response to Maher's ridiculous argument - "don't black guys play football too?" You know what about Maher? Doesn't he strike you as some kind of deeply closeted gay who so hates himself that he just lashes out at everyone? At least Madcow is honest about being a dike.
That's exactly how I see Bill Maher...
Obama has made no secret about his love for the game of basketball. Installing a court at the White House, getting injured during a pick up game, doing televised NCAA tournament brackets from the dish room. If you google Obama and basketball, you'll get abouttttttt, ohhhh, 77 million hits...
Didn't Olbermann often reference Bush's love of the game of baseball? Even suggesting that his career path lead him toward a life involved with the sport (ignoring the fact that that already happened)?
They must be exhausted playing make believe by now...
Hmmm...I saw a lot of signs equating Gov. Walker to Hitler but not a peep about it on MSNBC. That's strange since they are honest journalists and despise such comparisons.
I know, I'm absolutely shocked, SHOCKED, that Madcow didn't immediately repudiate those signs. By refusing to speak out against it, she is just as guilty as they are, and if any violence erupts, the blood is on her hands.
MAN ON FAN STRIKES AGAIN: Olby out trolling for the little girls, as per normal.

In this economic environment that the liberals created, there are plenty of young girls out there looking for sugar daddies.
