Something to tide you over while we wait for Keith Olbermann to make a renewed attempt at relevancy. Here's John Gibson and crew bringing you dramatic readings from blue blogs (Olby's favorite news sources) reacting to the vote in Wisconsin:
Comments are open!
Slightly off the subject, but I was reading the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 comic book, and there are a couple of references to Olby.
In the storyline, vampires go public and accuse the organization of Buffy's vampire slayers of persecuting them. So Slayers become public enemy number 1.
In one scene, a character says Keith compared the slayers to Nazis in a Special Comment.
In another scene, Keith is shown naming Buffy the "Worst Person in the World"
HA.
The irony is that the story was written by Jane Espenson, who I'm sure is a huge Olby fan, and thus is trying to give Olby a shout out. But the catch is she has Keith supporting the blood-sucking vampires and hating the heroes!
Another case of Liberals outsmarting themselves trying to be clever.
Has anyone heard if Olberdork is shutting down all of the electricity in his home? Since nuclear power is eeeeeevvvvviiiiilllllllll....

I found this post by Jane Espenson:

Anyway, I read that comic a while back. Look, siding with vampires that are taking over the world and naming one of the greatest fictional heroes of all time WPITW really didn't come off as a compliment to me. In fact I thought it was a pretty good shot at someone who blames the wrong person on a regular basis.
"really didn't come off as a compliment to me." I'm not saying it was a compliment. Just sometimes liberal writers like to make references to people they admire, but they overlook the context of how they are making the reference. In this case, the writer might think they are being clever by sneaking a Liberal icon into a piece of fiction, while overlooking the fact that they have the person supporting a heinous cause.
Another example of this occurs in the second "Transformers" movie. The plot involves a twerpy bureaucrat shutting down the Army/Autobot task force that has been wiping out Decepticons on Earth. Not long after, the Decepticons launch a full assualt on Earth. There's a mention in the background that "Obama has been taken into hiding" or something. So putting two and two together, Obama's administration was responsible for dismantling the military defenses against the Decepticons, who then invaded Earth. (Come to think of it, since this is a Michael Bay movie that may have been intentional).
Actually check out the Jasmine arc in Angel Season 4. In a nutshell, Jasmine is a higher being who graces our world with her presence by essentially brainwashing everyone into loving her, and thus making everyone chronically happy. But those who see through her illusion and speak the truth to expose her lies are dismissed as being people filled with "hate."
Sound familiar?
Or check out the "V" remake, which I think is made by Liberal producers who unwittingly made it an allegory for an insidious Liberal takeover of a society.
Transformers and Olbemann bashing? Today's a good day...
I've been giving him the business on Twitter. Getting told I'm a teabagger or exposed for at typo and getting blocked by this moron is a personal goal of mine. I will succeed...

Olbermann is continuing to harp on the nuclear crisis in Japan, citing a recent Wikileaks cable, which he suggests condemns the Japanese government for ignoring warnings of a potential nuclear meltdown, if the area were struck with a high magnitude earthquake. While I do credit him for mentioning the Obama administration's stance on nuclear energy, he was unable to resist the temptation to mention some related events during the Bush administration. Of course, it was exaggerated and irrelevant.
This is just another perfect example of the liberal mentality in America, which can be characterized only as opportunistic. Yes, the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant is currently distressed, and may cause serious damage the surrounding environment and the Japanese people. However, it hasn't yet, and rather than be part of a solution, we're finding liberals like Keith Olbermann assured of the fact it will become a global crisis, and using their assumptions to push the liberal agenda in the States. Does it sound familiar? Of course it does. The response to the BP oil spill was a moratorium on off shore oil drilling and twenty billion in up front payments to the Gulf's local industry. And when the "crisis" proved to be far less serious than portrayed by the media and the left, it was virtually ignored; only snide remarks about how scientists "believe" there still may be massive plumes of oil beneath the surface, waiting to spring ashore and kill minorities and make white people rich.
I think this type of opportunism is an intellectually simple way to approach...anything. It reeks of impatience and stupidity; "Here is one example, in it's infancy, I have no outcome, but I'm right, you're wrong, the world should adjust to the way I feel." Its the way they respond to nearly everything. Olbermann's nightly FNC bashing is all part of a bigger push to have the network removed from cable permanently. Reviewing the DailyKos any associated liberal blog only proves this further. They want all differing opinions removed from the airwaves, and use these types of situations (the ones when people are suffering and dying) to play to their base, and generate votes. It's absurd, and Olbermann is at the center of this childish, moronic behavior, every, single, time...
Olbermann, Soper, MKDAWUSS, I have one question for you:
Who's the war criminal now?
No answer? Hypocrites.
Obama launched an ILLEGAL war in Libya, BASED ON LIES! IMPEACH! NO BLOOD FOR OIL! WAR CRIMINAL! IMPEACH! NO BLOOD FOR OIL! WAR CRIMINAL! IMPEACH! ...you get the picture.
If Bush had more than one Tee Shirt printed with "Fascist" on it, he should mail it to 1600 Pennsylvania. I'll give some of the Left props for sticking to their political beliefs, ie. Michael Moore. I don't think we'll see Olbermann going to far in criticizing the President for his actions. It will quietly be dismissed, so long as it doesn't get to out of control, then it will be some Republican's fault (or the Tea Party).
Let's see if Olbermann is smart enough to connect the dots, as you, Tony, and you CJ have been able to do without really thinking. If his plan for responding to radical leaders attacking their own people is military intervention, why didn't we hurl a few hundred long range missiles at Iran in 2009 following their elections, when innocent women and children were being gunned down in the streets? Didn't the US have both, Congressional and UN support to invade Iraq? I digress...
Obama did the right thing here. It's just, everything he's against whilst campaigning, talking, giving speeches and being the President.
Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!
C'mon everybody!!
Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!Obama lied, PEOPLE DIED!
How about shouting that during next years campaign?
"I'll give some of the Left props for sticking to their political beliefs, ie. Michael Moore."
And Dennis Kucinich.
But what about Olbermann?
When did that strike occur? Sunday? Saturday? The FOK News Channel's been pretty quiet on this subject.
Personally I'm kind of shocked that an "honest, responsible journalist" would ignore such a story.
He just posted a "Special Comment" on FOK. I'm watching it now. Notes to follow...
He makes two to three half assed attempts to express outrage at the President's actions, but at the end, clearly claims that the President has time to explain himself, and his reason for attacking Libya, making a very loose and unintellectual analogy to food's "five second rule." What's best about this, is his assumption (judging by his demeanor and tone) that the President will actually watch, and adhere to his comments...
Of course, he mentions Japan, and somehow (again, in a lame-brained attempt) connects it to our actions in Libya, and claims the Bush Administration was duped for eight years by Gaddafi.
He begins by citing bombings by Clinton that no one remembers very well, for that reason, because he wants desperately for this ordeal to turn out the same way, with very little political blow back. And, he ends, in broad daylight, on a video he posted mid-day, with "Goodnight."
Brilliant...
He's clearly itching to be seen again, I can't wait to see him tank at another network...
