So much for double-standards, huh? KO is questioning this much like how he questioned the War in Iraq. He doesn't want a repeat of that. This clip just totally goes against the OlbyWatch narrative that KO has double-standards.
KO is still doing the work that most of the media won't do: Ask the tough questions regardless of who's being asked.
LOL. I'll take your point when Olby calls Obama the 'idiot-in-chief', says he has blood on his hands, and demands he resign.
"So much for double-standards, huh?"
You don't get it. You really don't get it.
Oh, and Olbermann's comments on this matter are about four days late you jackass. Why don't you brag about that.
Let's remember why Kieth is doing this...
CAUSE HE MISSES THE WORLD FAMOUS (in Louisville and Olbermannwatch) SEGMENT YOU ALL LOVE AND ENJOY...................
Like when that guy next to you at dialysis always sticking his hand down his pants so that's the only thing you see for four hours, DEAR GOD WHY DOESN'T HE GET A FRICKING BLANKET..... IT'S THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD ABSTRACT!!!!!!!
Bronze: Jennifer Griffin- For saying that CNN and MSNBC reporters were used as human shields. Didn't see the report, but I just know Keithy Poo got it wrong!
SILVER: Franklin Graham - For attacking the Muslim Brotherhood. Remember Job #1 for Olby is to protect the MB. You know once the MB takes over New York, Keith will be the first go "be cleansed". And by "Be Cleansed" I mean KILLED by his muslim masters!
GOLD!!!: BECK-O!!!!!!!!!! For, well it seems that even though Olby is fired from msnbc (lean forward.... to pee) he's still watching his old time spot. His attack on Becks is almost verbatim what crazy Larry said last week. Makes you want to think, is Keith missing his old home? Or is he writing the MSNBC's evil journalists rants? WHO KNOWS? WHO CARES!!
Another award winning webcast to Keith finally getting that all expenses paid vacation to the loony bin!
If you don't know what I'm talking about..... Keith also has a online WPITW segment.
here's the linky

I hope this is nightly, I am getting rusty on my snark.
Perhaps that is the point Wuss, Olbermann has now taken to asking questions rather than asserting opinions as facts and ignoring the unknown. If this had happened during the Bush administration (and it would have, with much better leadership and control), he was have claimed, not asked, that this is about Libya's vast oil reserves. The story would not be fronted with examples of similar action taken by the United States, it would have began with loose assumptions of poor response and planning, and reports of civilian casualties.
Let's not forget the title of this "Comment," and the overly moronic analogy to food's "Five Second Rule." He is stating that the actions taken by Obama are justified, so long as he's in, and out (something most grade schoolers know will be the case), so long as he picks up what he dropped before it can gain any filth. Would he have given Bush, or any Republican running the United States a similar window? And don't also forget the fact that he's siding with the majority of American's on this, surprising yes, but a clear cut case of Olbermann being bi-partisan on major issues...no.
I think you, and anyone who feels the same way about Olbermann's response will be eating their words in a few months. If Quaddafi is ousted, the United States will be unable to allow it to descend into chaos, and will have to be involved in reorganizing the government. Given Obama's clear stance on providing such support, he will either go completely against his position, which Olbermann will support, and if he must send in troops or support the UN in doing the same, he will say it is of necessity, ignoring his ignorance in the past to parallel situations in the Middle East. All this is because of one thing, the letter next to the President's name. He's saying all this bullshit because he feels the left wants him to give his two cents (of course we know they are not fond of him), and that the President will heed his advice (Ha). If you think he will openly and fervently attempt to ridicule and challenge the President's position, then you are no smarter than he is.
The part where I have disagreed with other Olbermann watchers is with Keith's bias.
Keith is a far left wing ideologue first and a supporter of the Democratic party second. If a Democrat strays from the far left, it will draw Keith's ire. Not with the same disrespect he shows towards people on the right, but he's not simply a shill for Obama.
Those were some pretty nasty comments about the Grahams.
"He hauled out a story from 40 years ago, in which one baseball player allegedly told another baseball player, 'Billy Graham is a cracker.'"
Whoa! He's got Billy by the balls now huh?
This is another shining example of "honest, reliable journalism" and "asking the tough questions" that MKDAWUSS constantly trumpets. Don't you have another eventual failed Web Site to work on?
Haha! Olbermann is insisting that Aaron Sorkin's new cable show about news anchors is based solely on him, and is to be done in his image; this according to his "Snappy Answers" segment on FOK. This guy is hilarious, and truly stretching the meaning of the word, narcissism . The article he links to, clearly states that Sorkin followed several TV hosts, only one of those being Olbermann, and cites conversations he had with Sorkin that somehow suggested he used Keith as a basis for two existing characters. Come on. Keith Olbermann? The guy who never secured top ratings, has been fired from nearly every major network, is fat, single and barely graduated communications at Cornell's Ag School? That guy? Ha.
Funny, funny stuff. If Jeff Daniels plays "Keith", it just won't work. Daniels is charismatic, charming and intelligent (and funny). Haha, Keith Olbermann, haha...
"Come on. Keith Olbermann? The guy who never secured top ratings, has been fired from nearly every major network, is fat, single and barely graduated communications at Cornell's Ag School? That guy? Ha."
A lot of TV revolves around shock value. If I were modeling a cable news commentator character after a real life cable news commentator, I would pick Olbermann. Or maybe Beck. it depends on whether or not I want my character to snort lines or not.
Let's do a quick comparison of O'Reilly and Olbermann:
O'Reilly-Wife, two kids, successful wherever he went, king of the cable news ratings mountain, yells occasionally. BORING.
Olbermann-Lives with his cat, inept with women, fired from every job he ever had*, subpar ratings, displays behavioral disorders on-air. In terms of TV characters, we have a winner.
*Yes, he was fired from MSNBC. But you're welcome to explain why your favorite narcissist chose to wait until the last minute to tell his "loyal fanbase" he was leaving as opposed to having a month long tribute in preparation of saying goodbye.
Touche, CJ. Touche. Personally, I don't think he knew that far in advance, given his demeanor during the final few weeks of the show. I doubt the responsible folks at MSNBC behind this decision (or Comcast, whatever) would allow him to spend all that time on himself. Speaking of, he put another Thurber by the fireside whatever the hell it is on FOK, as if anyone missed it. It sucked, like the rest of them.
Thurber already? It's not even Friday..... Did someone say Friday? HERE IS YOUR THURBER FREE VIDEO OF THE WEEK!!! Hide you ears, you might think Olby reading Thurber might be bearable after REBECCA BLACK'S FRIDAY!!!!!
No, wouldn't do that to you guys, but here's Kyle Cease's Parody "Wednesday"

"Bronze: Jennifer Griffin- For saying that CNN and MSNBC reporters were used as human shields. Didn't see the report, but I just know Keithy Poo got it wrong!"
Your right, he did get it wrong, although MSNBC was never mentioned as part of the story.
Mission Aborted On Orders Of SAS
By Ian Drury
March 22, 2011
The RAF was just moments away from obliterating civilians being used as "unwitting human shields" by Colonel Gaddafi when SAS ‘spotters’ aborted the mission.
Tornado GR4 fighter jets were closing in on Gaddafi’s presidential compound when the covert troops saw a group of people, including journalists reported to be from CNN and Reuters. ….
But Gaddafi’s henchmen had driven foreign journalists to see the damage and would have been fully aware that the area was still under threat.
Had the warplanes launched their fearsome barrage of 1.3-ton Storm Shadow missiles, many could have died.
The potential catastrophe demonstrates the critical role being played by the SAS.
Defence sources last night confirmed that the presence of the civilians was the reason the strike was called off.
For the record the “Storm Shadow missile” fly's at MACH .8
MACH 1 is 761.2 mph, MACH .8 is 608.96 MPH or 10.4 miles per min.
The “Storm Shadow missile” max launch range is 155 mile from target.
The Storm Shadow 1,230 kilograms (2,711.7 lb) missile with 990lb BROACH (Bomb Royal Ordnance Augmented Charge) warheads
The RAF was on approach to launch 7 of these bad boys when SAS ‘spotters’ (meaning they were on the ground looking at the compound, AKA “Eyes on target”) spotted and recognized CNN reporter Nic Roberts
So the SAS spotters called off the attack due to “unwitting human shields”.
Note: it was the British RAF/SAS that labeled Nic and company “human shields” not Fox.
Nic in his hissy fit claims he wasn't there long enough to be used as human shields, they were there for only 25 to 30 min.
Apparently Nic isn't real good at math.
At 155 miles and a missile flying at MACH .8 (608.96 MPH) it would have been up Nic's wazoo in 14.9 min.
More likely (and why they would have “Eyes on target”) they would have launched at 50 miles which means they would have been up Nic's wazoo in 4.85 min.
Again, Nic Roberts in his hissyfit stated they were only there for 25 to 30 min.
Nic Roberts who's math skills are “wanting” should thank the SAS for calling off the strike BECAUSE they recognized CNN/and or reporter Nic Roberts.
Nic Roberts should apologize for his childish rant against Fox news for correctly reporting the incident. It was the SAS that labeled CNN/and or reporter Nic Roberts human shields.
Hmmm, Katie Couric is out at CBS in June. Will The Hefty One try to suck up to CBS execs to get the Kronkite chair?
"If this had happened during the Bush administration (and it would have, with much better leadership and control),"
If this had happened during the Bush administration, Gaddaffi would have brokered a deal to step down a long time ago.
"Jennifer Griffin- For saying that CNN and MSNBC reporters were used as human shields. Didn't see the report, but I just know Keithy Poo got it wrong"
Keith completely distorted the story so he could manufacture a reason to insult Fox News. He even said CNN's Nic Robertson was a 3A worst person because when he defended himself he referred to Fox News as other journalists, which is a sin to Keith (don't know why. Keith is the journalistic equivalent of a rabid raccoon digging through a trash can)
But anyway, Griffin was repeating information from a British military official, which Keith doesn't mention. I don't suppose Keith has proof that officer was lying to Griffin? Or is he saying Griffin just made up the fact the officer existed.
Then there's Robertson's laughable defense against being duped. He says Griffin and Fox News wouldn't know about it since they didn't go (although they sent a guy with a camera, but not a correspondent). So essentially he's saying that Fox News wouldn't know about the reporters being used as human shields because they declined the offer to go be human shields. So if only they were there being human shields they would understand they weren't being human shields. Yep, makes sense to me.
Seriously, is the rabid hatred of Fox News so widespread in the media they'll just ignore the big picture to push that narrative?
After pointing out on twitter that it is hard for BTB's dozens of devoted followers to determine ( reference comments left) which is a Special Komment and which is a worst person rant ( i did use the words maniacal rantl) as reported in the Huf Po story that so upset hissense of justice, He told me:Call me whenyou get 25 followers, no IF . I did repsond that i thought it was a shallow measure of a man to judge someone's value based only the number of twitter followers ( just like MLK would have i guess) I got blocked. Jesus am I proud. it was a sweet confirming time for me to have the honor of blocked by twitter man bestowed upon humble lil me. Smaller TV station, smaller audience same ole BTB.
P.S. Best part is he nore the two respondents countered my claim just attached me as not liking keith or being less than worthly because I sell guns for a living They are an interesting group
"(although they sent a guy with a camera, but not a correspondent)."
The guy who was sent, not a correspondent, not a camera guy, was a security guard with a cell phone that had a camera in it!
BTW , “Nic began his career at CNN in 1989, starting as a satellite engineer. He first came to public attention when he stayed in Baghdad with Peter Arnett at the start of the Persian Gulf War in 1991.
Peter Arnett ? That explains a lot!
Next up as Keith's Worst Person in the World: Geraldine Ferraro, for dying and not putting in her will a public statement denouncing Fox News and apologizing for being a correspondent for them.
To Keith, being allowed to associate with Fox News would nullify her historic status as the first female VP candidate.
Which I guess also makes her a worstie to Keith for making Sarah Palin think she could run for VP too.
I wouldn't put it past him.
Check out this gem:

MKDAWUSS called Media Matters one of his "honest" and "reliable" sources. Honest and reliable sources don't declare war on a television network. Media Matters just publicly admitted the only media that matters to them is FNC. In case you're too stupid to understand that it's called bias.
I know you're reading this Carlos and I know you don't have the balls to respond but you're welcome to try.
And as for this, ahem, "kinetic military action" against FNC? Good luck. Someone at J$P said it best:
"I wonder if Brock ever read Moby Dick, if he did he would realize an obsession can cost you to lose everything. I have no doubt that the whale will win this showdown as well."
That has been one complaint that's been popping up from time to time regarding MMFA - pay attention long enough and there's essentially a set schedule that MMFA follows. It's starting to cater to it's HC fanbase instead of the GP.
"That has been one complaint that's been popping up from time to time regarding MMFA..."
And the other complaint is they don't tell the truth.
Look at this clown deflect. MKDAWUSS doesn't tell you if he's upset about Media Matters listening to they're hardcore followers, he just tells you they're listinening to their hardcore followers. He didn't even do his customary quote at the beginning of the response. So are you a hardcore Media Matters fan MKDAWUSS? You're the one who called them "honest" and "reliable", not me, so it's a good bet you're a big fan.
And you still haven't answered the question: Isn't it a problem for an "honest" and "reliable" source to engage in what Brock described yesterday?
I know, I know. "You'll have to ask him that." Ignore in 3...2...1...
MKDAWUSS, here's something else for you to ignore.
http://washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confidential/2011/03/media-matters-breaking-law-its-war-fox-news
Apparently Media Matters of America is in violation of the law. Surely a man of your integrity cannot condone by this.
Furthermore, if Keith Olbermann is the great watchdog you claim him to be, he will surely "ask the tough questions regardless of who's being asked" as you so boldly claimed.
Ignore in 3...2...1...
This "war" on FNC again demonstrates how mind-numbingly stupid liberals can be; FNC isn't going anywhere, although Olbermann and Media Matters feel that continuing to harp on fabricated stories of dishonest journalism and spelling errors will put an end to Murdock's consistently successful cable news channel. Good luck, pinheads (Ha, a Factor reference, get used to it)...
Oh, and Mr. Duck Killer, I caught that exchange on Twitter. I'll find it again, if I can tolerate sifting through Olbermann's bullshit and give it the Ok to follow you.
I have noticed, that as far as today is concerned, Obama has been acting a whole lot like the person Olbermann accused Bush of being for years: He got a failing grade from the Coast Guard for his response to the BP oil spill, he's encouraging the Brazilians to drill for oil, in an effort to make billions of dollars, for a bunch of American Billionaires (ie. George Soros), he bombed an oil rich Middle Eastern nation preemptively, has been on Vacation the entire time, and his number two has been physically assaulting members of the media in an effort to stifle free speech. All the while, Keith's talking about Rove speaking at Cornell and dropping Twitter followers by the dozens each day.
I just caught up with the DailyKos, those folks sure do talk a lot about pie. I guess simple subjects suit a group like those who compose a site like that...
Isn't it a problem for an "honest" and "reliable" source to engage in what Brock described yesterday?
Yeah, I suppose it does. It somewhat loses some credibility on watchdog status as watchdogs are supposed to go after the message and not the messenger, which is what's becoming the case more and more. Like I said, there's essentially a set schedule on the MMFA monitor list.
That said, Glenn Beck seems to be quite eager to respond to the call with his attacks on Media Matters.
"Furthermore, if Keith Olbermann is the great watchdog you claim him to be, he will surely "ask the tough questions regardless of who's being asked" as you so boldly claimed."
We'll have to wait and see.
"Obama has been acting a whole lot like the person Olbermann accused Bush of being for years"
And many Republicans seem to be recycling Democrat talking points regarding the War in Iraq...
Also Olby's SpecComm regarding Obama's recent actions spoke much regarding that topic.
"I just caught up with the DailyKos, those folks sure do talk a lot about pie."
You forgot cats, or as they're called over there, pooties.
"We'll have to wait and see."
Don't bother. Ever heard the phrase "don't bite the hand that feeds you"? More on that later.
"Yeah, I suppose it does...That said, Glenn Beck seems to be quite eager to respond to the call with his attacks on Media Matters."
Is that some kind of backhanded insult geared at me? Because for some apparent reason you think I'm a Beck fan? Like I care what that asshole has to say. The only time I defend him is from the likes of you. If you and you're jackass Kos pals are gonna talk smack about someone you're gonna at least be honest about it.
But let's just not change the subject. Your soft response was a smokescreen for the fact that you just admitted Media Matters is a partisan joke. Olbermann used Media Matters on a regular basis during Countdown's run. You've constantly defended Olbermann as a man who only uses the best sources for his stories. Now you've said Media Matters has lost its credibility because they've failed in their mission as a media watchdog.
So the question is this: Are you gonna defend Olbermann when he continues to cite Media Matters on his new show? Because he will. I know it. You know it.
I appreciate you actually responding for a change but the truth is you're still covering for your Progressive hero and his friends. Given your track record you can't defend Olbermann and now that Media Matters has crossed the point of no return you won't be able to defend them either.
Yeah, pooties, that too. I love catching up with you kids at the Kos, it's just adorable how you try and be relevant.
Of course they're recycling talking points; it's just too easy to characterize the current President and his administration as hypocrites and liars. What Obama did, is exactly what Bush did; only less preparation, leadership, congressional approval and international support. He deserves to be ridiculed for going against everything he's ever said about foreign policy. Keith did comment on Obama's actions, but he opened the door for a complete pass for the President, one he will grant him regardless of the outcome in Libya.
Did anyone watch Obama's speech about Libya last night? I didn't so, I don't know what to expect from the ever unpredictable Keith Olbermann...
