UPDATE: Thanks to The Blaze for some grade-A linkage and a great post with S.E. Cupp's reaction on this morning's Glenn Beck radio program.
UPDATE UPDATE: Special thanks to Keith Oralmann himself, who tweeted a link to this post to his credulous followers. KO has always been an Olbermann Watch reader, and it's good to know he still comes here for his Olby updates even while he sits by himself, out of work, with only his bathtub to console him.
Owned. It's a shame these guys are relegated to 3 a.m.
"We didn't think he would either Wuss, we knew he would."
Beautiful baby. Why didn't I think of that.
"Olbermann (may he rest in peace) is basically a Nazi now. If you don't live up to his standards in life, you should not have life at all.
But I think we have a break through with wuss; he could have an epiphany moment. We should all proceed with extreme delicacy."
Oh please. This was a gimme. Over a year of ignoring things ten times worse than what Olbermann said yesterday and you're saying "epiphany?" Laughable.
MKDAWUSS, did you post those comments at the FOK News Channel? How about the Kos? Or Olbermann's Twitter account?
I doubt it. Kos maybe, but the other two? Heck no. Saying that stuff here is easy. Posting it on his Twitter account is different. Would you still be a fan after he deletes your criticism and says "@mkdawuss I don't accept opinions from moron trollbots."
That will never happen. Wouldn't want to destroy that fragile fantasy you have of Olbermann being an "honest, reliable journalist" who "asks the questions regardless of who's being asked."
Hypocrite.
I wonder if Olbermann considers these kind of comments those that fall under the umbrella of decency he referenced during the post-Tucson call for civility. I can't imagine Bill O'reilly getting away with this. After all, it was his fault that George Tiller was murdered...
Well, since Olbermann was kind enough to link this to his fans, he won't mind some criticism from one of them.
Olbermann, this is from Carlos "MKDAWUSS" Lejjena, one of your most loyal lapdogs. He said this yesterday:
"What do you all want me to say? There's not much (if anything) that could be said in defense of that.
I didn't think he'd stoop to that low a level..."
Here's the link: http://www.olbermannwatch.com/archives/2011/04/olbermann_says_1.php#comments
You get that Olbermann? The only one of your fans with the stones to come here and defend you thinks your comment was out of line. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Oh, and don't bother Tweeting to everyone that Carlos is just another "bot" created by the right to undermine you. He's flesh and blood.
Tweet that jerkoff.
Snap!!!
Hey Olbermann! How come you don't post in your own defense? You afraid Johnny Dollar will call you a moron and erase your comment?
"After all, it was his fault that George Tiller was murdered..."
Interesting how you bring that up, considering that KO essentially advocated baby-killing, the label attributed to Tiller by the right-wing media.
Yep, I'm aware of the irony and the hypocrisy here...
And I have gotten into a few debates and arguments over on the Daily Kos regarding abortion in the past, and I know that I'm bound to get bothered by a few statements and assertions, but this is taking it to an entirely different level.
"Yep, I'm aware of the irony and the hypocrisy here..."
Yet you said nothing and when Gabrielle Giffords was shot and Olbermann blamed everyone except himself and Jared Loughner you said even less.
Excuse me. You echoed Olbermann's calls for civility, which have turned out to be hollow. Why don't you tell us who you're picking for the Kentucky Derby so we can pick a different horse.
"And I have gotten into a few debates and arguments over on the Daily Kos regarding abortion in the past..."
You want a medal? This isn't about your conflicts with the Kos.
Everybody see this now? Let me spell it out:
MKDAWUSS doesn't like George Bush or big business so when Olbermann rails on them he's the hero. He lies his butt off, but he's a hero because it's what MKDAWUSS wants to hear.
MKDAWUSS doesn't like abortion so when Olbermann says S.E. Cupp should've been aborted (and that's what you meant Olbermann, we all know it) there's "no defending that," because that's NOT what MKDAWUSS wants to hear.
Go back to Clown College.
The thing I don't understand is why would Olbermann care between abortion and birth control?
He says "no no no, I didn't mean she should have been aborted. I mean her mother should have been consulted on birth control."
But, I thought there was nothing wrong with abortion. Isn't it just a woman's right to choose, and the fetus is not a life? So, why would he care that people thought he meant abortion?
I'd thought the same thing here Bobby. If abortion isn't murder, and is simply a woman's right to proper health (or whatever the hell they're calling it these days), why is it such a big deal? How is birth control any different if abortion isn't actually killing a baby? These morons don't know which way is up anymore...
As for you Wuss, hypocrisy requires that I do one thing and say another. O'reilly called Tiller a baby killer several times, however he was using this reference and featuring his abortion clinic on his show to expose the extreme frequency and disregard for duration to the abortions being performed. He did so in an effort to put an end to such actions (not by murder), because he fiercely disagrees with the nature of abortions, as do many Americans. I don't condone what happened to Tiller, nor do I condone what O'reilly was saying about Tiller (a term O'reilly did not create). Olbermann used baby killing language to suggest an adult should have been the baby being killed, aborted, prevented, whatever. O'reilly used baby killing language for a guy who performed abortions on tens of thousands of babies, many of those in the later stages of pregnancy.
Olbermann used it to be a dick, because he disagreed with someone. O'reilly reused a term from someone else for a guy who truly deserved that name, if you so believe abortion is murder. Saying O'reilly is responsible for Tiller's death because he exposed his actions and called him a baby killer (never called for his death, etc.) is one thing, saying you should have been aborted or your life been prevented because I don't like you and your political positions is another. Olbermann called out O'reilly for his "extreme" rhetoric, saying it lead to Tiller's murder, but when he uses the same language, according to your own admission, he's not a monster, or a bad guy, he just stooped to a low level.
Olbermann is the hypocrite here Wuss. Nice try though...
Any numbskull that wants to bring up "Tiller's dead because of O'Reilly" better be ready to defend James Lee and Al Gore. Because there's an actual connection there. I don't recall Olbermann asking that question.
Any comment on that MKDAWUSS? Of course not. As long as Olbermann tells you what you want to hear you're ok with it. Who cares if there's a lie or a misrepresentation along the way? He's demonizing the people YOU wants demonized.
But Olbermann makes one crack about abortion, something MKDAWUSS is opposed to, and nearly 18 months of defending Olbermann to no end go out the window.
Maybe you guys should retract those "breakthrough" and "epiphany" statements now.
Wasn't it Olberdork who said in 2008 that "Someone should take Hillary Clinton into a room and only he comes out"? So he directly threatened Clinton in the same way he threatened Cupp. Of course, there isn't any problem in his own mind or the minds of his brainwashed followers when he threatens people, but when he gets all outraged over something a conservative says, well, then it's a different story. His hatred of women is also on full display, but that's another story.
Olbermann’s argument was always fallacious concerning Tiller. I do believe it is an example of the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy to say that “O’Reilly called Tiller a killer; someone killed him; therefore, O’Reilly incited the murder.” Aside from that, there were at least two notable assassination attempts on Tiller’s life before O’Reilly ever had a show.
“Maybe you guys should retract those "breakthrough" and "epiphany" statements now.”
Oh shut up already! Admitting that Olbermann stooped to a certain low is a big step and one I’ve never seen him nor ever expected him to take. People like him do change and he’s just young enough that it could happen. So please, get over yourself. I was only half serious anyway.
You are the one who said this was a "gimme" and that he has ignored "ten times worse." He's finally acknowledged something. I call that progress.
And this isn't even about his one issue, abortion, he differs with Olbermann on. This is about wishing someone dead.
"And this isn't even about his one issue, abortion, he differs with Olbermann on."
Read between the lines Grippy.
Olbermann said S.E. Cupp should have been aborted. He can backtrack that anyway he wants. We all know that's what he meant. You know it. I know it. MKDAWUSS knows it too.
"You are the one who said this was a "gimme" and that he has ignored "ten times worse." He's finally acknowledged something. I call that progress."
I'm allowed to reevaluate my statements. After those silly Tiller comments it's all pretty clear now. The only reason he acknowledged it is because he abhors abortion. See above.
The next time Olbermann lies about campaign contributions or Bush & Cheney or whatever else that Ag School Grad-in-training is in favor of changing let's see what he has to say then.
Probably nothing. "Who cares if Olbermann lies his butt off about something, at least he's telling me what I want to hear."
I agree Olbermann meant abortion, no question; but I also believe wuss would normally kid himself into buying his backpedaling in order to protect his opinion of his hero.
