As to Olby's dismissal from the Old Timers' Day play-by-play, I'm glad, even though you can't hear the play-by-play watching on YES. That's just for those lucky enough, at least this year with Bob Wolff and Suzyn Waldman, to be at Yankee Stadium. I watched the whole thing on DVR yesterday. It was great. Gene Monahan got a grand sendoff: some goodies from the old Stadium, a riding lawn mower, lawn care products, a pickup truck, a trip to the Alps, and a dog. And that's just what I remember.
And then there's this. What will Keith say about what I linked to? Will he condemn the act? Will he ignore the story altogether? Or will he trivialize it like he did when Lou Dobbs admitted a while back that his farm had been shot at?

While I ususally agree that firing is a moot point, but this time there needs to be a housecleaning at the TSA. It is really getting out of hand. But I think it's clear that there was quite a drop going from Mon to Fri.

Last week MKDAWUSS was asked repeatedly about why "Mr. Transparency" didn't want his numbers released. He wouldn't answer.

Of course this ratings news is pretty definitive proof that Olbermann's "loyal fanbase that will follow him anywhere" either won't follow him anywhere or isn't as big as MKDAWUSS has made it out to be.

That and every time the ratings do get released you'll be greeted with MKDAWUSS telling everyone how "Olbermann's ratings are fine considering he's not supposed to compete with the big boys." That one won't get old.

Now MKDAWUSS will marvel us with Twitter followers and Facebook likes just to prove how great Olbermann is.

I suppose it never occurred to MKDAWUSS and his ilk if Olbermann didn't piss off every single person he came into contact with he wouldn't have been relegated to a tv channel no one can find.

If you average 131K for five nights and on the first night you got 179K, that means you averaged 119K the other four nights.
